Nice room, very clean. The walls are thin and every noise in the hallway is heard in the room. There is no staff after 10 pm. Unfortunately during our stay a couple of very loud families checked in late and then partied until after midnight while thier kids played in the halls.

The hotel is typical, value for money, nothing too fancy. It is close to the motorways down the French/German border, so a convenient stopping point, and handy for the western black forest (around 10+ miles away). Breakfast was a good mix of breads, croissants, cereal etc.

Hotel Alps is a good choice while traveling down south to France or to Spain. We took overnight stay enroute to Spain. For 60 euro for the family room you can't get more:) It's just 3-4 minutes far from the main highway. Some cons: lack od ac in the rooms, food in the neighbour restuarant too expensive for what they serve. Nevertheless, the hotel is an excellent solution as a night stop when travelling somewhere further. We've travelled with two small kids and the room had enough space to feel comfortable. As I mentioned before, we've spent only 2 nights when to Spain and when back home. Lack of ac!!!!

The Hotel offered a solution for arriving late when we were held up in the queue for the St Gotthard by entering the hotel with a code and an envelope with roomkey waiting for us at the reception desk. The room was basic but clean.

We will visiting the Alsace area and the hotel is remotely away from the tourist cities. You certainly need a car if you wish to stay in this hotel. But the hotel is in the middle of a farmland and gives a relaxed and refreshing experience; away from the bustlying city.

The hotel provides a great breakfast spread! The small town of Ottmarsheim is also surprisingly ancient and has a fabulous Romanesque church, within easy walking distance of the hotel. There is no opportunity to beg, borrow or steal a kettle, however the staff pointed out the coffee machine could be used to obtain boiling water from 07 to 22 each day. Luckily we brought a thermos so this extended our possibility to prepare milk for the baby. Still it is impractical for families with small children - or pack your own kettle! Also, the wireless lan was cheap at eur1 per day, unfortunately I found the connection to be unreliable, even in the lobby.

- Parkeergelegenheid - Niet te groot maar overzichtelijk - Normale ontspannen sfeer - Het ontbijt - Net maar wel een beetje afstandelijk personeel. - Geen mogelijkheid om na aankomst een warme maaltijd te nuttigen. Op Booking.com staat weliswaar vermeld dat men niet altijd het naastliggende restaurant open heeft, maar..., dat het op zaterdagavond ook gesloten is, dat is heel vreemd en was een grote tegenvaller! Alle restaurants in het piepkleine dorpje waren die avond (zaterdag 28 april) óók gesloten en zagen er bovendien (naar onze maatstaven) zeer onaantrekkelijk uit! We moesten toen na het opfrissen in het hotel, diezelfde avond nog naar Mulhouse om een restaurant te zoeken. Dat is een half uur rijden verderop en beslist niet leuk als je al moe bent van een lange dag in de auto vanaf NL. Wij vinden DIT punt echt een heel grote MISSER van dit hotel. Bovendien sprak men aan de receptie geen woord Duits. En dat hoewel dit (ELZAS/Vogezen) een (tevens) Duitstalig gebied is!!

De kwaliteit en prijs/kwaliteit geven blijk van meer sterren dan de twee die nu op de gevel van het hotel staan! Nette, moderne kamers, lekker ontbijt met veel keuze: hier komen we vaker terug! Ideaal als tussenstop, zoals voor ons naar Italië. Goedkoop en goed Wifi in het hotel. Personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam (autoproblemen). Restaurant was niet open dus moesten we naar een verderopgelegen dorp iets zoeken. Tip is dus om tijdig iets te eten voordat je je kamer betrekt.

Chambre assez grande, propreté,personnel sympathique,lit confortable tres proche de mulhouse et fribourg en allemagne Pas de clim , chaleur dans la chambre malgré la fenetre ouverte alors que dehors il ne faisait que 20 dg en journée. En plein ete je pense un peu dur

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.De kamer was netjes en schoon geen overbodige luxe. Goed geslapen in uitstekende bedden. Het ontbijt was verrassend goed en alles in overvloed..Gewoon een fijn hotel voor een overnachting op weg naar Italie. . We kwamen toevallig in dit hotel terecht. Er was niets dat tegen viel.

Sehr freundlicher Service, ein guter französischer Frühstück, direkt an der Zufahrtstraßen zu der Autobahn 35, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sauberes Zimmer bei einer Übernachtung Im Sommer kann im Zimmer heiß werden, also Fenster öffnen...
