one minute walk from beach and shops, very friendly staff, good breakfast, clean and quiet

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was clean and efficient. My son and I were there to watch rugby. It is conveniently located for the stadium and a short walk to the coast and town centre.

Unusually and very disappointingly there were no tea/coffee makings in the room.

The position was close to attractions

On our last day at the hotel (3/10/12) we had breakfast. The lady who helped us was very lovely an spoke English beautifully. Although the breakfast did not have what we expected, extensive hot buffet, the office lady offered us fresh croissants and when they weren't available at breakfast, she had two packed ready for us before we checked out. She also helped us with our future travels by offering us advice on how to travel to our next destination. We thoroughly enjoyed our interaction with her and wish to thank her for her helpfulness and thoughtfulness.

The breakfast wasn't exactly buffet and not continental either!!

Location - proximity to shopping and beach, bus stop for airport just outside the door, bus for Bayonne just around corner. Nice quiet street, no noise during the night. Very comfortable beds, good sports channels (especially sports). Very friendly check-in/out, no problem holding luggage in luggage room.

More variety needed in buffet breakfast, foods that are there are not replenished quickly. No tea/coffee-making facilities in room, unable to open bedroom window partly to let fresh air in. Shower head kept swinging to one side which was a nuisance but we managed it. Would like if Safety Deposit Boxes were in bedroom rather than reception. Room quite small.

was not luxury, but fair and comfortable enough for this price. It was much cheaper than other hotels in Biarritz in august. Location is perfect. Rooms were clean. Beds are just super comfort. Breakfast was also ok. Good hotel.

Very lovely hotel. Very relaxing clean and large rooms. Close to the beach, resturants and pubs however not too close to make it noisey. Young couples and families with small children would be happy at thi hotel. The staff were also very accomodating and helpful also.

Lovely hotel in a great location! The beds are exceptionally comfortable, the rooms are immaculate, and the staff is kind and helpful.

Towels weren't changed even though they were put in the shower as instructions say.

Proximity to beaches, older Biarritz, restaurants. We were made very welcome at Reception by Pauline and liked the recently refurbished room as well as the reception and breakfast areas. The breakfast was very good in choice and quality. Important for us was availability of car parking.

The corridor to our room on L4 needs redecorating but this did not bother us. Our room on street side was opposite a building construction site so some noise during the day but this did not bother us. Will not be forever either. The room door locks are very substantial and impossible to close the door quietly when leaving the room.

Beeing a 2-star hotel it was excellent. Should be a 3-star.

We found the hotel centrally located with the staff very customer oriented.

The parking offered by the Hotel either insinde or outside (on the street) of a car slightly larger than medium is difficult.

This is our second stay at Escale Oceania Biarritz. It is where we need it close to our relative. It is clean, comfortable and the staff is most occomodating.

Some of the rooms are to small for our comfort.

All the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

etablissement D'excellente qualite- tres bien situe- pres du centre ville et de la plage- excellent rapport qualite/prix- chambre tres confortable et sans aucun bruit.- petit dejeuner un peu cher.

La gentillesse sincère du personnel de réception. Le mobilier de la chambre. La salle de bains. Les petits objets de toilette dans la salle de bains. Les yaourts et compotes "bio" au petit déjeuner

Le très bon rapport qualité-prix. La propreté (pas de moquette dans es chambres), des salles de bains pratiques et modernes, avec des sanitaires et de la robinetterie de bonne qualité. Et j'ai aussi apprécié la décoration, laquelle, sans être luxueuse, a une volonté esthétique et chromatique.

L'emplacement près du front de mer et du centre-ville, la qualité du séjour à l'hôtel, la possibilité de parking...

Un ronflement de chaudiere a la tete du lit toute la nuit impossible de fermer loeil.

Chambre ne correspondant pas aux photos de votre site ni celles de la plaquettes d'information à l'hôtel. Lit coté droit contre le mur. Couloir d'entrée de la chambre ne servant à rien et prenant de la place. Bruit de pas avec talons le matin de bonne heure. Bruit de la circulation de la rue. Prix élevé par rapport à la chambre qui ne mériterait que 2 étoiles maxi.
