Welcoming hotel with fair continental breakfast & excellent location near seaside, centre shops, nos 1 & 2 bus stop route to Bayonne & Biarritz Gares just up the road.

I did not like the occasional drainy smell of the en suite shower room (though the separate toilet room was good). Also I prefer good room lighting to read by - lights were too dim for me.

The location was good, easy parking as well.

The rooms were dirty - we are 100 percent sure that our son got lice from the bedding (which we noticed had hair in it the next morning). The furniture in the common areas was brown with dirt. The breakfast room is so cramped it is almost impossible to move around and each day the breakfast buffet ran short of the more popular items. The coffee machine (the only one) was very slow and bad and splattered everyone who made a coffee. We were never given enough towels for the three of us even though we kept asking for them. Main issue though was cleanliness: I would not stay here again for fear of bedbugs and lice.

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room and although advertised the tv did not have any English channels.

Very convenient location for town centre & the beach, very good helpful staff , pretty good continental breakfast, a clean & comfortable base.

Good position near the main beaches. A bit noisy at night with trafiic, but not enough to be a big problem. Staff very helpful & facilities ideal for a short break.

Hotel is on quite a busy road which is a bit noisy at night.

The breakfast buffet was excellent-fresh, varied and plenty of it.Reception staff were always informative and helpful.

Staff brilliant and very welcoming. Room was quite spacious. Outlook not much - scruffy empty buildings opposite.

Room 305 - shower was very smelly. In fact we complained twice but nothing seemed to stop the smell except running water. We were told it was a problem with that corner of the building..... well the drains need to be cleaned out!!

The receptionist's welcome on our first day was delightful and she made us feel very 'at home'. We speak French, but the fact that she spoke English, as all of the other receptionists did, also helped with communications. The selection of breakfast food was also excellent.

For some reason the room and bedding did smell of cigarette smoke on the day we arrived, which we did find odd since it was a non smoking hotel.

Way too expensive for what the hotel offers
