Altos Baie du Mont St Michel  

The reception staff were friendly and efficient and the hotel very clean.

The thin walls and noisy plumbing!

Very polite staff, great room and sweet breakfast. Perfect family hotel for the Mont Saint Michel visit.

My wife and I were deeply unhappy. It may be in the Avranches postal area but it is nowhere near the town centre. It is noisy, for example we clearly heard when others in the hotel flushed their toilets! There are many minor niggles which all added up to a deeply upsetting situation - not helped by a refusal to do anything to put matters right, (though I accept the hotel couldn't be moved into the town!). When my wife and I have settled from our holiday, we will be seeking compensation. I add that we had a three location holiday and the other two hotels we stayed in were superb.

We did not like the location, style, noise, refusal to respond positively to complaints, indeed it would be hard to find anything we did like. Probably the worst part was refusal to do anything to put matters right.

Convenient location for all local attractions and easy access to main routes north and south.

Far away from Mt. Saint Michel, small room, bad furniture, no shower but just the head so you need to hold it while showering which makes it uncomfortable, the two stars of the room are an average between a pretty reception and an awful room, bad quality of toilet paper, bad pillows, curtains with holes.

A bit further from the centre than we thought. Would have preferred a proper shower and tea/coffeee in the room.

Pas de prise électrique dans la chambre. Salle de bain moyenne: petite baignoire, lumière insuffisante. La lingerie était à côté de la chambre d'où un bruit d'écoulement d'eau dès 7h 30 le we ...

le manque de chauffage pour un 29 mars, surtout pour la salle de bain - le petit déjeuner un peu juste, ceci dit pour un 2 étoiles qualité prix je dirai pas mal, ce qui était important c'est la proprete de la chambre et le confort de la literie

J'ai failli résilier ma réservation en parcourant des critiques vives mais j'ai adoré cet endroit remarquablement situé avec un excellent rapport qualité / prix. C'est vrai que l'on entends un peu de bruit mais alors, il faut réserver un 4 étoiles (... et encore) ou une maison isolée. J'y retournerai en vacances, c'est sûr!!!!

Il y a un gros problème d'isolation phonique au niveau des canalisations d'eaux qui nous réveillent le matin avec un bruit strident. Le chauffage n'est pas réglable à partir de la chambre (séjour en Novembre) Le petit déjeuner est de moindre qualité par rapport à un service de chambre d'hôtes (Mauvais pain, pas de fruits variés...) le téléphone de la chambre ne marchait pas. La direction ne tient pas compte des réclamations des clients et ne s'excuse même pas des désagréments causés. Aucun geste commercial. Il semblerait que l'établissement ne soit pas tenu par un véritable hôtelier.
