I was taking the train out of Gare de Lyon early in the morning, so this was a great location. It was about a 20 min walk to the station from the hotel, or just a stop away via metro. I stayed on the 3rd floor, 2 single beds, and the room was a good size for a Paris hotel. It also had a little fridge that came in handy. It was also on a fairly quiet street and had a fan to help cool the room. It was a great price! I paid as much for 2 nights in Paris as I had for 1 night at Mont St Michel. But keep in mind, this is not for the traveler that wants an updated bathroom.
The thing I liked most is that the hotel is a step away from the metro with different destinations.
Staff was always very pleasant and accommodating, they were able to answer questions about the area and transportation and were always willing to help. Room was compact but clean and comfortable, even for three people. Bakeries and restaurants right around the corner. Close to train station. Lobby doors secured after dark and can only be opened by staff. We rode the train and the metro station was about 2 blocks from the hotel.
Hard to find initially. I am thankful we rode the train and didn't drive, because of parking issues others were having.
Location and price are great, rooms are clean, staff is very helpful.
Bed wasn't so comfortable, reception could be nicer.
Its in a good place. The street might seem bad but its not. The staff was very helpful. It was quiet too.
Our room was on the 4th floor but even that food smells came.
I mostly liked the closeness to the nearest Metro
Old and very small rooms - tiny bathrooms, not in a good area
Quite nice room for the price I paid, good shower and bed
No big complaints, the soundproofing is not the best, but that is very common in Parisian hotels..
This hotel is too small. So unless you don't go to Lyon Station quickly, you don't need to go this hotel.
Elevator is REALLY small. Internet no working in the room. Bad breakfast. Far to the center.
Close to Metro station. This 5 storey hotel provides the basic room that you require when short stay. Were able to book in early so could leave our bags to go exploring. Staff very helpful. As we were catching an early train we did not try the breakfast. Ideal for the Gare de Lyon station
The WiFI did not work on the 5th floor though there was a hard wired network connection in the room
Only location is fine and its clean
Breakfast was very limited, room is too small, bathroom is just ok
Reception was really good.
The room smelled. There was a constant noise on the wall, maybe mouse ? I could not sleep til 2 am
VERY small room
Good location near 3 Metro lines crossstations (include Rer). A lot of cafe. Silent street. Remarkable personal. Good breakfast.
Little room, we have booked 3-bed room, be aware in foto it's not the same.WIFi in the room doesn't work every evening from 19 till 22.
good location, close to metro and close to great street
cramped elevator that hardly fitted a suitcase to the fourth floor; staff not knowledgeable (including not knowing where to find parking garage, since "not owning a car himself"); when closing curtain, it fell down; bathroom door in cramped room did not close; room pictures on website do not reflect room; overpriced given other properties that have actually been upgraded/maintained over the last 30 years.
Good price quality ratio for Parisian standards.
There is hardly any noise from the street. Although the walls were very thin during our stay we had the pleasure to hear how our neighbours had their night of amour also would could hear the receptionist very clearly.
The lift was very small and noisy. Dirty and old looking bathroom.
It was good, I would suggest coffee machines or service to rooms.
Convenient location for gare de lyon. Child-friendly policy. Quiet, good hot water supply. Reasonable price for Paris.
Nothing really. If you need a hotel for a night, this is acceptable.
requested a double bed but ended up in a three-single bed room...
Excellent choice for mid-budget traveller. Easy walk from Gare de Lyon (maybe 15 minutes, but easy to navigate) Very close to Metro Station (Nation) which has lines going to centre, Sacre Cour, etc. Quiet location on a narrow side street. Nice choice of supermarkets, restaurants and cafes very close by. Excellent Asian food 2 minutes away (authentic Vietnamese pho) 24 hour reception Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't take it. Very comfortable beds with crisp clean bedding.
Not close to anything worth visiting, but proximity to Metro alleviated this issue. The triple room was very cramped, but still OK, just. Bathroom was small, but worked fine for us. Some wear-and-tear evident, but nothing too serious or unhealthy. Worth visiting just to take the smallest lift in Europe. :)
Warm welcome, eager to help. Basic room, but clean and comfortable, with hairdryer and toiletries provided. Very quiet. Good breakfast. Many brasseries and cafés nearby.
Very difficult to park on the street. If space available, 4 euros every two hours during day time. This needs to be added to website.
location is great and the room is clean. no room for luggage but that's Paris.
nothing really. just make sure don't take the metro to Nation, it's far from there. Use Line 1
Staff very friendly, location close to train station.
