good location to the exhibition halls and the center of Cannes. very close to the beach which had an excellent beach side restaurant, great banter with staff and very good food

breakfat was expensive and the attitude of a member of staff was not good. no door on the bathroom which was rather weird. It also meant that unless you were very familiar with the preson styain in the same room you would have felt very embarrassed to take a shower. The seperate toilet, which was very small, had no air vent. Room service did not provide crisps or nuts despite ordering wine for the room. Tried to book a hire car, asked reception for advice, said they would find out for us, and they did not get back to us. On one of the 4 days we stayed, we returned after spending the day out only to find that the door to our room was left open. We had valuables in the room along with credit cards. The reception said that it would have been left open by mistake by the cleaner. despite all this I would probably stay as the price was ok, it was close to the main attractions and in the main the staff were trying to be helpful

The view, simplicity, beach and cannes accecibility

It has potential; if managed diferently.

Firstly;We don't like to use lifts , therefore we request rooms located on or colose to ground floor; but we do not mind using the stairs up to the 4th floors. Avangani does not have a user friendly staircase. Secondly the property is not well kept and we noticed that cleaning and sprucing up of the property started only the morning before a contingent of about 40 tourist arrived. The pool was cleaned , lighting placed around the pool and tables and chairs placed about the pool deck. As soon as the tour group left the hotel , the lighting , tables and chairs etc.around the pool was removed. Thirdly; The following were missing in the room: Bar Fridge Tea/ Cofee maker Safe Chairs on the patio We expect these basic things in any 4 star hotel these days. The price for a basic continental breakfast is excessive at 22 Euros.

Staff Were great freindly food was nice etc What I did not like, There was no Iron in the hotel I got the inpression it was a conn to make you spend for an ironing service which worked out at 9 euro per shirt it was annoying at the time but I got over it due the staff very nice and friendly

Safe was not bolted in & did not work anyway. The room smelt dank. The hall way stunk of rubbish from the basement. Cost of meals expensive, breakfast especially. Air conditioner cannot be altered & is set at 20 degrees Celsius making the room at times too cold. Nothing like a four star hotel. No refrigerator!

Location was the main reason we chose this hotel.It was in an excellent position opposite the beach although there was a railway line to cross.It was 15 minute walk along the promenade.

It had a 4* rating but did not live up to this.There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.The carpet was tatty round the edges.Paintwork was badly scuffed on the door frames.The sink was blocked in the bathroom.The shower curtain was completely inadequate so the room ended up flooded with water. The toilet was loose.Breakfast was 19 euros each!They also charged 8 euros to sit around the pool!We had a third bed in the bedroom which they charged 30 euros for one night- it was a basic camp bed!Very poor value for money.We only chose this hotel because it was next to the apartment that we had rented for a week and was unable to stay there for an extra night.There are better hotels in the area!

Nice hotel,if you get a room with balcony. Near city of Cannes, bus-stop just outside the hotel - 5 minutes from city center. 2 minutes walk from the beach.

Being close to the beach. Nice pool. Great breakfast on the really nice terrasse.

A little far from shopping area if no car...

The location was very good as it was close to Cannes and to sandy beach. Also bus services were good. The hotel had a very nice swimming pool and the hotel staff were helpfull. We enjoyed our stay there, and would go back again.

Nice swimming pool. Good location, about 15 minutes to walk to Cannes on nice beachwalk. Modern and fresh hotel.

No minibar. No iron or iron board to loan!! Very unhelpful staff.

Utroligt dejligt haveanlæg og passet pool. Dejlig udsigt over Cannes bugt. Personalet var utroligt venlige og hjælpsomme.

Chambre vue mer, petit déjeuner en chambre sur balcon, assez calme malgré la présence de la voie de chemin de fer entre la mer en l'hôtel

Pas de mini bar dans la chambre, pas de porte à la salle de bain qui étonne

Le restaurant très bon un peu cher, le personnel limite (certainement des apprentis non encadrés) pas de rsponsable à qui parler pour une négociation de prix le petit déjeuner hors de prix pour le peu présenté, pas digne d'un quatre étoiles, aucun assortiment .
