All I in good value for money and good decor
Nice modern rooms. But to expensive. Poor Food and very poor breakfast.
Very loud! We couldn't sleep! Breakfast is very poor. Service bad! Wifi worst and expensive. Parking expensive. Far away from everything. Never again!
they upgraded our room, but it had a lot of mosquitos so we went back to our regular room. Staff was excellent. Good service and location
mosquitos, but thats everywhere I guess
Even on payment I could not access the internet (WiFi) from my room on the 3rd floor. Restaurant services leaves much to be desired. The choice available was very very poor.
Friendly staff, nice pool, very clean
Breakfast buffet not great for the price, would like the option just to order cafe & croissant
Close to the Beach at the Mediterranean.
Food was not up to expectations. Extra cost for parking.
Recently refurbished room, well equipped with decent LED tv, bath and power shower, coffee making facilities and safe. Balcony with sea views unexpected bonus. Excellent value for Cannes.
Arrived late evening and took 5 mins to attract night porter whilst waiting outside. Wifi €5 & breakfast €15 so went for coffee and croissant at beach cafe with free wifi!
I asked for some ice to keep my bottle of White wine cold since there was no mini-bar in my room. I was informed that it is strickly prohibited to bring food & drink from outside into the hotel. This means effectively that you can not even bring a bottle of water from outside into the hotel. I find this quite bizzare and has never happened to me before. I am wondering if this practice is legal?
For a hotel in Cannes the facilities are very good. Nice pool, tennis court and really convenient for a quiet part of the beach. The hotel does need a bit of updating and looks a bit tired. Also, breakfast at 15 euros is a bit steep and the ban on consumption of food or drink not purchased in the hotel seems a bit unnecessary. A 15 minute walk into Cannes or La Bocca was ok for us but may not suit everyone. Staff however were very friendly and helpful
1. Friendly and supportive staff 2. Location close to the beach 3. bus Station closeby
1. You can hear the Elevator moving all day and night long in every room! 2. One room: walls dirty and potentially full of fungi underneath the wallpaper; additionally penetrant smell in the room. 3. streets in front and back of the Hotel. 4. Train passes in between hotel and beach. 5. Breakfast offered for extra 15 EUR per person seems not to be worth the money. 6. Parking not included takes another 15 EUR per night!
We did not know what to expect when reading the mixed reviews on trip advisor. However we can safely say we were very impressed . The room was clean and modernised. The parking was secure. Breakfast was good quality. The pool was clean. A short walk to the beach, under or over the train track. Beach was free and perfect for what we needed. This was a hotel designed to fill the space for a few days between Monte Carlo and St Tropez. Quiet and good for couples.
The staff were slow to respond. The pool was clean however lighting and filtration skimmers where detached and floating in the pool. Breakfast was good but a little pricey. Between the beach and hotel was a busy train track. 20 minute walk into Cannes. Parking was expensive and NOT included! Three nights was just about right. Business Events took over the hotel for certain days.
Best breakfast on the Riviera - lovely setting and relaxing walk to downtown along the ocean. Friendly staff especially dining room staff!
Train station right in front of hotel between pool and ocean with construction going on through the night with crane and jackhammer. I made reservations the day of check in and no one informed me of construction. Difficulty to sleep unless I changed rooms to other side of hotel but then I would have lost my view. Front desk was not helpful at all in terms of educating me on how the bus schedule worked, calling taxi or awareness of local attractions. I found information on daily cruises but they could not tell me how to get to the port and when I tried to catch the bus they said it left every 10 minutes forgetting that the buses were on a week-end schedule. I finally called a taxi but it took 30 minutes for a tax to arrive and I almost missed my boat.
nice garden with swimming pool
presence of black beetles in the bathroom presence of long blonde hairs in the bath tub general cleanless
Near the beach, clean and good hotel.
Under staffed. Allows pets hence the noise.
The proximity to the beach was very good and the staff were friendly. The towels were replenished everyday and the air conditioning was very effective
The room was very small for a long stay and for the cost. During the first week the housekeeping service was good but during the second week it was poor and we had to ask for clean pillowcases and for tea and coffee to be replenished on four occasions. They issued a bill at the end of the first 8 days of a 15 day stay and it included 15 euros a day for hotel parking that we hadn't used although they did amend it when this was pointed out. The breakfast was very expensive at 15 euros each so we only used this service once and the selection of hot food was very limited to scrabbled egg and ham type bacon that kept running out as there wasn't enough for the number of guests at breakfast. Worst thing was there was no fridge in the room and it was 'forbidden' to take food in from outside the hotel to your room in an attempt to get you to use the hotel restaurant facilities and the notices to this effect where quite abrupt. This meant lots of additional cost so we had to eat out each evening and had to buy drinks instead of being able to keep water or juice in a fridge in the room or bring back a pizza the odd night. The restaurant menu was very limited we ate in twice but it was almost empty both times. I think this hotel would be best fir a short stay but I don't think it is good for a long stay .
The staff were superb and my room was incredible. I would definately stay here again and would recommend it to all my friends. Can't wait to stay here again
I only have 1 fault and that is the breakfast is quite poor especially as everything else is so wonderful.
all was great
No room service after 11PM, hotel looks old, hallways smell, panacota served in a drinking glass, only two people were working between the restaurant and room service in the busy month of August. restaurant stops serving at 11PM but you cannot order after 10:30PM. The safe deposit box didn't work in the room, there was no "do not disturb" sign in the room. The cappuccino was 20% more expensive becos it was served by the pool and not in the restaurant, if you ask for two glasses of water they bring you an Evan bottle. Wifi didn't work in the room even though we had paid for it.
nice hotel, nice room, very nice sea view. We recommend this hotel, is only 1 km away from the center, just a short walk. Bell'hotel, bella stanza, bella vista mare. Lo consigliamo, è solo ad un km dal centro, una breve passeggiata
I like the view of the see I like the new furniture of the room near to city center very close to the beach very quite
I do not like the main corridor to rooms They will change the name to new chain the new chain may be will change the rates
The room was large comfortable, shower facilities superb, room cleaning superb, view lovely.
We thought the quality of the food at mealtimes was very poor indeed except for breakfast. Dinner for two and a child costing what it did apperaed very bad value for money and poor quality, almost as if providing the meal in the first place was an inconvenience to the hotel. We ate in first night and had a couple of lunches but overall very disappointed with quality and the menu offered on the food side of things. Othrewise facilities were lovely and staff equally lovely. Many thanks.
Excellent staff, great facilities, nice and quiet. Very close to the beach. Away from the busy Cannes centre (20 mins walk along the beach front).
The hotel had no iron or ironing board, unbelievable. Our room also had no drawers in the bedroom and very little hanging space.
View from balcony Cleanliness Peacefulness
Restaurant choices limited and fairly pricey
the balkony was a good size
breakfast was not worth the 30euro. croissants were not fresh
Hereby I would like to thanks hotel personnel specially Mrs. Alexandra Mrs. Samia Ms. Laura and all other nice people who made our time in Avangani amazing
