I asked by phone to have the room ready early in the morning, as I arrived by an early flight, and they did it! Usually, the reaction to such request is; "Sorry Sir, but check in time is 12:00" |

Friendly staff, comfortable and ideally located for the Gare Saint Jean The area around the hotel is rough. Walking at night is not recommended! |

The room may have been small to the point of cramped but everything was there. Lots of little things which are often not supplied in other hotels. Lovely soap, generous amount of shower gel, tissues, sweets, biscuit. bathroom tiny but spotless. breakfast not worth the cost. stale croissant, luke warm coffee. better to cross over to 'Paul' at the station and get fresh and tasty at half the price. |

Nice and quiet, despite convenient location near the Station. Decent shower. All seemed clean, staff very pleasant. Couldn't work out how to use the aircon, no instructions were apparent. Also, would have appreciated more Tea/Coffee supplies in the room - only enough was left for one cup of each. No Safety Deposit Box in room. |

Staff was supremely helpful. Room impeccably clean and neat. There was nothing we could have asked for that would have been better suited to our needs. |

Located very close to station and trams. Immaculately clean, very pleasant bilingual staff, breakfast in bed and a well stocked mini bar, everything we needed for our one night stay. Not the prettiest location in Bordeaux and construction works surrounding hotel. The lift is tiny so could be problematic with lots of luggage. |

Location to railway. Near light rail station. Breakfast was adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was neat and tidy but we found our room and bathroom far to small. Found it difficult to have our travel bags open and walk around room. Airconditioner didn't work well on cool. Signage to this Hotel is inadequate.Based on our room only, we would recommend stay for singles and young couples. |

Personnel were friendly and helpful. Air-conditioning did not work. I was told it would be fixed. It WASN'T. good bathroom Very small room, barely adequate. I would not complain except that the air-conditioning did not work. Promise to fix it was not honored. We had to open the windows to cool things down and then the noise from outside made it impossible to sleep. |

The room was comfortable and the bathroom very clean with good quality, fresh toiletries each day and a well stocked minibar (fridge) and tea and coffee. The reception/bar area is welcoming and has a range of newspapers, guidebooks and local information. The staff gave us a local map when we checked in, which was very useful. The disadvantage of being so close to the main station is that it feels like a rough part of town - some people might be uncomfortable about that although I don't believe it's actually any worse for crime etc. than other places. |

convenience for station (we put our car on car-train and followed it up the next day). Even though close to station, not a shabby hotel at all! Also, the tram took us right to nice centre, restaurants etc. The continental breakfast was €5, and the buffet €11, we were charged €11 each when we only had continental (in my opinion) bread, croissants, coffee! Perhaps they should be clearer on what you get... |

Bigger rooms than many French HotelsEasy access to city centre (tram) Easy access to railway station. Appeared not in a very nice area (sex shops), but the hotel made up for it and we never felt unsafe |

Further from town than I expected. However, the tram was easy to use. Also, it was noisy because of the train station. I did not expect it to be that noisy. |
