“ Clean and comfortable room for a decent price. Yes, it has a small bathroom, but it does what it's supposed to and for a couple of days in Paris it's really not a big problem. ”

It was better, than it could be, as I thought after reading other reviews. It is quite clean hotel, my room was not very small and it was quite comfortable. Area around hotel is simpatic and not very dangerous. It is about 20 minuts to city center. The staff of the hotel is not very friendly. People are really not bad, but they do not like to answer your question. There is no tea-cattle in the room or public kitchen area, breakfast is quite expensive. This hotel was expensive for me (with it's service), but really all hotels in Paris are expensive.

The Staff were Excellent - from the breakfast waiters to the Manager, all were very good. The front reception and breakfast was clean and contempory and very nice. It ended there..... Our room (11) was shabby and dated, there was a whole in the bedroom floor just outside the toilet. The shower holder was broken. The towels were not bath towel size and were inadiquate for the job. There was no electricity in the power sockets for two nights so we stared our journeys home with flat mobiles. There as a damp smell in the corridore outside the room which was like a black whole with smelly old carpet...and the stair carpet was similar. Apart from the staff being so very nice we felt this was bad value, despite it's cheapness. The owners of this hotel need to invest in the bedrooms - they seem to have created bling in the front reception, but it certainly stopped there. We would not return, despite the nice staff.....

The hotel staff was nice. The room fit our purposes. The heating was terrible and it was really cold at night. The Wi-Fi was spotty and only one person per room could use it. It also went out completely on us one night.

Clean and comfortable room for a decent price. Yes, it has a small bathroom, but it does what it's supposed to and for a couple of days in Paris it's really not a big problem. The district is pretty safe, it does get a bit creepy during the night, but we weren't bothered by anyone - people on the street mind their own business. There is a supermarket not far away and the Metro is really close, if you know which station to choose, because oddly there are 2 different entrances of the Marcadet-Poissonieres station: one of them is like 3-5 minutes away from the hotel, the other about 10-13. The internet works pretty good in the room, although there is a catch in "free wifi" - it is free for 2 days, then it gets blocked. I don't know if you have to pay to extend it or you just take a new ticket from the reception desk, I didn't use the internet all that much, so when it expired I didn't bother checking it. All in all this hotel is a very good option for people who spend most of the day walking around Paris and only returning to get some sleep. No hot water for tea - there is only a coffee/tea machine downstairs by the front desk, but tea there is horrid and costs 1€ or so. When we stayed in a hotel in Vienna, we could get unlimited hot water for tea at the desk. It's a small detail, but still it's inconvenient. The lack of elevator can get pretty annoying. The neighbourhood is noisy, there's some construction noise coming from the street. But as far as negative points go, I'd say that's it.

Location was only 150m from Metro Mercadet. Breakfast was okay, 1 bread, 1 croissant, 2 small sweet rings with raisins, butter, 4 different jams. Cereals and milk on the buffet but no sausage nor cheese. Coffee and juice are offered, they offer also to refill your cups. The area is not so nice. Rooms are old and small. Bathroom is very small!

I choose this hotel only to have quick access to the CDG airport. WiFi was rather good. No elevator, rather hard to climb with a baggage. In the bathroom there is a completely small sink. It is so small that you could hardly wash your hands.

Location and price was good. They were main reasons for choosing this hotel. Rooms are extremely small. When I spread my arms I touch both walls in the bathroom - and it was the big dimension - the other is width of the shower tub. There were no hanger for shower itself, so you have to hold it in your hand while showering. Another thing is really narrow and steep staircase going up to the 6th floor. So you better pack lightly, because whatever you bring, you have to haul it up the stairs.
