really good nice and small hotel. good for everything but a little bit small room.
Very good hotel and amazing sea view. worth every penny.
We loved watching the sea from our bed in the morning. The room & bath room were very clean. One can easily find free parking by the hotel.
The room was very small but the king size bed was comfortable. There was hardly any space left to open our suitcases.
Everything. I arrived late and tired following a difficult long journey. Luckily just before the Creperie closed but they ensured I was told so I could be served. The crepes were the best I have ever eaten. The room and bed were comfortable and clean. Everything was just perfect, could not have made a better choice.
Our room balcony literally hung over the board walk of the beach, the view was unbelievable. The room was clean, Valerie the owner let us check out late because we had to make alternative travel arrangements due to the Air France strike. The seagulls will appreciate a few bread comes tossed from your balcony!
My only complaint is not with this hotel but with the history of French hotel rooms making their bedroom and bath so small. Management did the best they could with closets and such. But the view more than made up for it!
We took a sea view room. It was amazing sleeping with the ocean beneath us. We could see and hear the tide. It was a wonderful experience. We had access to the beach directly from the hotel. I could watch my fiancé swimming from my bed. The room is a bit small but it could be enough
Fantastic views, excellent friendly staff who could not do enough for us. Very nice breakfast.
Nothing - it was all good.
reception gentleman was quite nice, pick me up when I was lost to find the hotel; very friendly to help with all questions I had and even find back my note book lost on the bus(thanks a lot by the way the kind driver whom I appreciated much much); comfortable bed and convenient facilities; very good wifi access which I liked much; very close to the beach; very good breakfast, the best fried egg during my 2 weeks stay in France!!
room size was a little small but enough for me:)
Very comfortable Ripon and the view over the beach and water was a never ending pleasure. So nice to listen to the sounds of the waves at night, even with the walkway below it was quiet at night. Staff were courteous and helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel.
This was a very comfortable room with a beautiful view overlooking the beach. It is quite small but very comfortable and clean. It has a lovely terrace which is perfect for winding down. We also heard they are supposed to have good crepes.
We had an 'abnormal' warm day so air conditioning would have been nice but it didn't ruin our night sleep.
Loved the rooftop terrace for cocktails watching the sun set. Loved the beachfront location. Room was small, but clean and comfortable. Staff were all very welcoming.
Location - on the sea front and near the Intra Muros (walled old town) Roof top bar - stunning views Secure car parking Good value breakfast Friendly staff
Small room - but it was only for 1 night and it was clean and well appointed - the bathroom is really smart!
Small but elegant and well thought out facilities. Lovely bedding. Right by the sea so lulled by the waves. No AC so nice and peaceful without constant hum you so often get in hotels with AC. Staff lovely
Only thing was beds were a bit firm
beachfront room, near St. Malo, parking in street in front of hotel
very small room expensive
Nice walk along the beach into town - about 25 minutes. Staff very friendly and courteous. Clean and tidy.
Road noise. Ridiculously small room for the cost: we've stayed in larger for half the price. No A/C in the room, but with the windows open, one couldn't get into bed without closing them again! Feel a bit ripped-off.
Friendly staff, great restaurant.
Beautiful clean accommodation. We had a street side room though small but well equipped with lovely bedlinen and supersoft bath towels. Lovely power shower and light and airy bathroom. we had a good night sleep and an adequate breakfast which was continental but did include a fried egg and crepe if you wanted. I would say that the best part of the breakfast for ne was an enormous cup waiting to be filled with fresh coffee/tea as required with top ups!!! Beautiful views of the ocean from restaurant both at night and morning. Didnt eat in the evening but choose to go into the walled city which is quite expensive. Next time I would try their restaurant or one nearby. Would recommend this hotel.
€10 to park under the hotel, we choose to patk on the street with no problems. Local gendarmes in evidence most of the time.
position on the sea front quality of finishings looks recently refurbished breakfast good and wide choice cleanliness spotless comfort quiet and a good nights sleep pleasant rooftop terrace with lovely views efficient and helpful staff
car parking very difficult when busy. The hotel does not have an adjacent car park. Its either on the busy road or parked privetly which can be arranged by the hotel at extra cost. The total cost for two people accomadation breakfast and parking was 180 euros not value for money.
Excellent location on the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good shower. Good breakfast. Rooftop bar a plus. Good wi-fi connecion.
Our room was very small but they made the best use of the space available.
Roof terrace Helpful staff at reception and in restaurant Lovely breakfast Good walk in shower
One lamp in the room didn't have a bulb Light outside the room not working Dirty linen left on floor in public areas Small bed View from city view room - sea view rooms were full
Excellent location, friendly staff, nothing was an issue and very eager to assist
Booked a sea view room at extra cost. It was extremely small verging on the ridiculous. Felt ripped off for the price charged justg because it had a balcony that only had room for two chairs that were in a fixed position because again no room.
Lovely views onto the beach at breakfast from cafe On-site cafe serving drinks and crepes/galettes/cakes and ice cream Good bathroom with decent shower Comfortable bed Helpful staff Nice breakfast
Lack of air conditioning meant room was rather hot at night and we had to sleep with the windows open = noise
Don't be put off by the small lobby and lift, this is a good little hotel overlooking the sea, with a pleasant short walk to the old town along the seafront. Gallettes for lunch and good restaurants within five minutes stroll, what more could one want. If staying more than one night then I would recommend opting for a larger room than the (rather compact) standard double.
