The View from the room - ask for a view across Nice
It was just a most enjoyable stay in a hotel that met our needs and more and i will be going back there again
Convinient location for the beach, old town, promenade des anglais. Nice bathrooms, clean hotel
The rooms that have a view of back of building get to see a dump from their window.
only location was excellent
the reception person at night shift was very rude and rooms were very small also beds were old.
It really was fine
Location , cleanliness , willingness to upgrade after specific complaints after 5 days .
Tired , flaking paint everywhere mainly the exterior , spliced curtains , dark , noisy ,
Location excelent for beach, old town and transport Updated bathrooms, Value for money
The hotel is well located , 10 min walk to place Massena, but this is the only good this you can pay for. The reception staff is very kind and helpful, but the hotel is not, by far 3 stars hotel. we had superior room and we paid 170 euro each night, but the room is very small and has poor facilities. Even is we had superior double room , the first night( we had 4 nights) we had a room with 2 twin beds, and all night long we tried to keep the beds united. the next day we asked at the reception to change the room but the only thing they could do for us , was to make a double bed from the 2 twin beds. The next bad thing was that one morning the housekeeper came to our room while we were upstairs and she told us that she wants to clean the room. we told her that we will leave the room only one hour later, and, when we got back, in the evening, the room wasn't clean yet. We had to ask again at the reception to bring us some clean towels. in the end, when we asked to talk to the manager we was told that she was not coming in the weekend , but we also couldn't talk to her during the weekdays, as we asked before to talk to her. The kind staff from the reception talked to her and as we asked for a discount they gave us 10 euro discount each night= 50 euro and 3 free breakfast. anyway the price for this hotel is far too high and I wouldn't recommend anyone to pay that money .
Five minutes walk to the beach. Good location. The room has a good view of sea. Wifi was good too.
Great location. Helpful staff.
Had problems using WIFI with IPAD
reception bad! reception's attitude is very so so, need to improve a lot a lot!! not professional!!
Location itself was great (really in the center)
Staff was extremely unfriendly, hallway was super smelly (like an old ship with a diesel-engine) and the room itself very old and dark(except the bathroom, which was modern). Overall very poor value for money. Also, the breakfast offering does not look appealing, fortunately enough there were several breakfast places close-by.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The staff did a good job on cleaning the rooms. WI Fi was okay.
Location was excellent bathroom new
Standard room floor on angle felt like you slept upside down .
Bedroom was outdated , no view from window except a dull wall, bedroom doors were difficult to close and needed a hard bang to secure leading to noise level from neighbouring rooms during the night
location, shower, wifi, clean
slightly jaded appearance
Excellent location, staff really nice too
Room was a bit small
Location is excellent, I think this is the highlight of this hotel...it is close to everything you are looking for: old city, bus station that takes you everywhere, shops, restaurants, beach, EVERYTHING,....this location is reflected in the price...without location I wouldn't pay more than 70 Euro for the standard room.. The staff is wonderful except one guy: ok there are three staffs at the reception: the one with a little grey hair and a young tall guy: these two are wonderful, very helpful, very friendly etc... the third guy with reddish hair suffers social disorder and needs psychological assistance ASAP..this guy was treating us as thieves, very rude, disrespectful, unhelpful because he can't even help himself by shutting up...so if you see this guy just avoid him to not ruin your holiday..
Breakfast is poor for 12 Euro...for this price I can go to Monoprix and eat until you can't walkl... Also, the walls are thin and when someone closes the door of this room everyone hears it so loud.. Finally, the third guy in the reception with the reddish hair...I Seriously suggest to the management of the hotel to send him for retirement or medical attention..
The price was too high for the standard room I received. Too small and the view was a huge wall in front of our window. I tried to change my room but they asked me 100 euro per night to upgrade my room. I didn't received in the room any piece of paper with inscription "Do not disturb" on it. So one day the housekeeper entered our room during the afternoon when we were sleeping. I asked her to come later, she closed the door and stuck us into the room. I had to ask the receptionist to come and unstuck us.
Where the hotel was situated!
The whole experience of staying there, we paid for a premier room and got a room overlooking a back yard because the room we stayed in on the first night was so noisy we asked to be moved. We felt like we were in a cupboard, it was so dark and miserable.
Price, Location, Bad,big size room
No dry Cliner
The man at the front desk welcomed us right away. He walked us the elevator and greeted us everytime we went by the desk. He went as far as remembering our room number to give us our key back. Very pleasant stay & great location. The bath tub was awesome!!
Location brilliant Breakfast fairly good
Standard room extremely cheaply furnished....very mediocre and with an old brown throw over the bed Furniture modern bur really cheap...and yet a new and expensive bathroom which was excellent
