Nice standard Novotel accommodations, but a bit far from city centre. Very well located if you have a car a seek to visit nearby castles though. |

The room was comfortable and clean with a lovely view towards Amboise. We thought the City Breakfast was good value. On arriving on our first night we decided to try an evening meal rather than having to go out again but we were extremely disappointed. We both ordered the fish pie which was nearly completely devoid of fish and then for sweet we thought it safe to have the fruit salad. Unfortunately, it was awful, the fruit was certainly not fresh and we both had to leave it. The other point I would like to make was that we were in Room 323 and in the night it sounded like someone, with heels, was clipping across on the floor above but when we looked into it we realised that it was the echo of one of the Receptionists with stilleto heels on. We would suggest that all Reception Staff are asked to wear soft soled shoes at least for the night shift. |

Excellent room and facilities - good value for money. Free secure and private parking. Really should be free Wi-Fi access rather than limited access via desk- top pc in reception. At over 13 euros breakfast was much too expensive - we didn't partake. |

It is a well run hotel which caters to families travelling through. I thought the staff were wonderful and extremely patient and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful start to our holiday in France! The only problem I had was that my room absolutely stank of smoke, normally this wouldn't bother me, but I had my two young daughters in with me and they complained about the smell getting on their clothes and hair. |

We loved our time at the Amboise Hotel, it has a beautiful setting, it's lovely and clean and the service was great. Ideal for a short break with or without children. |

Large modern property with great activities (mini golf, swimming pool, playground, tennis, video games and activity table) for the family. Very good selection for breakfast. |

The location was very pleasant, the room was very comfortable (mainly as the air-con worked well on a very hot day, the food was very good. The restaurant was extremely busy so there was no chance of eating on the terrace or by the windows. We thought 4 Euros per person for a game of crazy golf on a poorly-maintained "course" was a bit of a rip-off. |

The friendliness of the staff, breakfast buffet, the view, small scale of hotel The rooms were very/too simple for their price, a little more comfort/luxury like in the bathrooms is necessary |

Easily accessible in a peaceful location with good parking - from beginning to end the experience was fantastic and extremely good value for money. The room was perfect, clean and functional and the staff attentive yet businesslike. We particularly enjoyed free use of the lovely outdoor pool with beatiful view of Amboise chateau, the crazy golf and the table tennis and great breakfasts and evening meals. The internet access in the entrance was really useful. Children were extremely well catered for and the whole ambiance was superb. We were on a family holiday, but business travellers would feel equally at home. We are full of praise for this well managed hotel and would recommend it to anyone. |

Reception was efficient, the hotel was in a very quiet and attractive location. There was a very wide choice for breakfast. The hotel was a long walk from the town centre. The air conditioning and mini bar were noisy. Toast for breakfast involved waiting in a queue and then the toaster was ineffective. There was no obvious option to choose a light breakfast. |

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location og the hotel is excellent with a great view on the castle and the village of Amboise. The hotel is also a good place for families with children as they have plenty of entertainment. |
