If you use this hotel and ask for taxi's. Tell them if you don't want a pirate, you want an officiel taxi, otherwise you risk they order this kind.

We had 2 visits to the above hotel. First time round, we were given a lovely quiet room in the rear section of the hotel and had peace and quiet after our long flight from Perth. The second time round we were given a room on the street side of the hotel which was awful - it felt like the traffic was driving through the room all through the night. When we asked to change rooms the following morning, we had to pay in an additional E25.00/night to get our original room even though the hotel was relatively empty on both our visits. Will certainly consider a different chain next time round as this was not a pleasant experience with the front desk. The room fridge did not work on our first visit and despite reporting the matter did not work on our second visit either. There was no tea-pot in our room on the second visit (found it under the bath panel in the bathroom) and the complimentary tea/coffee was not replenished during our visits. The milk supplied for the tea had congealed and gone off.

Hotel staff were fantastic. The swimming pool would be a bit too small if more than three adults were in it at the same time. Luckily it was just my husband and I.

Convenient location, comfortable rooms, nice breakfast buffet. WiFI was unstable and unresponsive. The price of 20 Euros for breakfast is a little steep.

The hotel had a metro stop 20 meters from the front door. From that metro station it was a 15 min rie (or 6 stations) to the center of the city. The rooms were very small, but clean. No tissues, facecloths or towels. We could not access the room safe and even though we asked for help it never arrived so we dropped the request. For the taxi to the airport, the desk clerk obviously had a deal with the taxi driver who didn't start meter and wanted 75 Euros extra for a hotel pick up. We eventually negotiated a flat fee but had little leverage as the the time was ticking and the plane wouldn't wait.

Excellent connection with the autoroute to Southern/Western France and still really in Paris. The hotel has private parking. A typical Parisian café with very friendly service and excellent food is at 2 minutes walking from the hotel next to the metro entrance. We booked a Nelson "upgraded" room, which is pretty basic, like a room at Ibis. Check-out was clumsy - took 10 minutes also because of poor instruction about how to get out of the garage. During the evening, one has to walk in pitch dark from the car to the sortie and as I came out it was in the middle of the garden, some kind of emergeny exit. Take a flashlight - this silly situation exists for over 3 years now. cups, tea and coffee all present, but no water cooker. No orange juice, they had forgotten to buy oranges.

This was nice small hotel. At least our room with balcony was nice and quiet. The room was not big but it was modern and clean. The bed was not suitable for very tall or big people, but otherwise it was very good. Metro station is close and there are some restaurants and small shops also next to the hotel.

Very nice pool. Good balcony on the western side (with access for everybody). Perfect to relax in the afternoon / evening sun. Breakfast looks fine, but is quite steep at 20 Euro. Plenty of bakeries nearby, and the room has coffee / tea facilities, so this is a good and cheap alternative

The hotel staff was very friendly and nice. The location is convenient as very close to the tube station. Also, the car park was close to the hotel. We stayed just for the week end with no time to use other facilities (e.g. swimming pool and gym).

The pool is very nice. The location of the hotel is nice if you like the china town, as we do, but it is far off if you like to visit the usual Paris attractions Eiffel tower, Champs Elysse, Louvren and so on. The staff is very helpful and service minded. The parking in the hotel is very narrow for a suv but works.

I liked the swimming pool; that is why I chose it. I would try best werstern again but if I get the internet problem again it will be the last time. Internet hard wire system very slow and would not allow outgoing emails on outlook; need to get someone to check this out. The TV is tuned into only 1 English channell, CNN, It would be ggood to have BBC and Russia Today. There is no brush to clean the WC with. The swimming pool should be open at least to midnight. Cannot see why they limit the hours from 7am to 9pm when there is no swimming pool attendent anyway. Doe not make sense.
