Excellent hotel and its a great location for all of Paris. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended
The beds weren't the best as its 2 single pushed together but not connectedly joined.
Clean, friendly, Nice.
Quiet bar, shower small (for a tall guy)
very conveniently placed hotel, close to Central Paris without being to close! Lovely staff and lots of good eating.
Good size of the room compared with other hotels. Room is clean and quiet
The double beds mattress are bit sagging
The rooms were relatively large, the breakfast was consistently excellent (hot and cold foods) and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. There are a number of restaurants in the area and the metro is close by. We would definitely stay here again.
It was not as walkable to sights as indicated on the website and sometimes the internet was slow. Otherwise the hotel was excellent.
The staff were lovely and friendly and the hotel was very clean and the room well equiped.
The bar and mini bar prices were extortionate but as the bar was closed for two of our nights, we drank elsewhere anyway.
Quality of service can be identified by the way the hotel copes with visitors problems - Hotel Ampere has six star service. ;]
Staff, location and association with the Viking travel
Only one Breakfast option and it was not a great buffet.
The room was a great size separate toilet and sitting area were unexpected bonus
Our room was over looking the street there was quite a bit off noise
Too keen to close breakfast.
Very helpful when I was pickpocketed.
A reliable and comfortable hotel, excellent price-quality ratio. I like the neighborhood, far away from the crowds of tourists and close to beautiful parc Monceau, but still very easy to reach the centre.
The temperature in the room was a bit cold for me, difficult to adjust.
Wifi and breakfast
We really liked the location of the hotel. The staff were good for the most part and helpful. The breakfast served was good and service was excellent. The bed was comfortable even though the joint for the two beds together could be felt at times. The amenities (toiletries) were pleasant to use (L'Occitane products). The overall bedroom was fairly large. The hotel is very quiet and provides a wonderful atmosphere from the hustle and bustle of the city after long days of sightseeing. The metro location is literally at the doorstep of the hotel and is extremely convenient.
The wireless service was by far the worse feature of the hotel. It was weak and sporadic. Each time we called reception to complain about not being able to connect, we were told that everything appears fine. The staff was not very helpful on this at all. The bathtub is too small and the glass partition installed to keep the water from going everywhere when one showers is ineffective and cumbersome. A shower curtain would have been more effective. No wash clothes were given or hand towels. Just bath and floor towels were provided. Upon arrival, we had to wait till past two o'clock before we could check in and this was after we had requested for an earlier check in between 12-1 pm. Normal check in was at 2 pm.
Location and staff was espacially by Paris standards very friendly and accommodating. Most sights we wanted to see we had to take the Metro to, but it was right on the corner as well as the commuter line. All in all it was a very nice hotel I would not hesitate to stay at again.
The room was a little small but not so small it was uncomfortable. By European standards it was a good size.
early check in at 10am with only 20 minutes of notice!
I had a problem with the flush of toilet which was not solved.
The service was excellent, room was comfortable and very clean, staff was great.
We spent 5 nights at the Ampere and could not have been happier. The staff went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Vincent even walked us to the post office with our packages and made sure that everything went OK there. We hope to one day go back to Paris and will of course head to the Ampere Hotel. Nothing. Everything was PERFECT
The bathroom was not cleaned properly. There was mould on the tiles
The hotel is excellent by all means. The level of services that we got is fantastic. We felt that we are the only residents in the hotel. Mr. Anthony Morel the Chef de Reception and his team were great in giving us the feeling that we are home. Thanks for all of them.
nice and peaceful district, very good breakfast, cozy restaurant, very close to the metro station
Comfortable room size, metro at 3 mins walk with easy access to Champs Elysee and other attractions.
Quiet place for people who would like to get out of hotel into a bustling street... No pool and fitness equipmemt
All staff were very pleasant, helpful, courteous and always willing to help us with any queries we had. Rooms were always clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.
We were disappointed with the bar facilities. The fact that the bar closed at 10pm each night and 2pm on a Sunday afternoon was a disappointment to us.
The interior of the hotel and rooms were very clean and attractive. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The Hotel is a 15 minute walk to the Arc de Triumphe. The Hotel is in a very nice and clean part of Paris.
I could hear noise in the hallway when another hotel guest returned to their room at a late hour.
