- very kind staff (guy doesn't speak English, but he tried to do his best) - good location - not far from downtown, from the beach and big commercial centre. There's a bakery just near the hotel)
- very small room: the shower is in the room (glass "box" near the wall) - common toilet (one toilet for all the floor or maybe for all the building) - towels and beddress were not clean (as for me I had my ones and used them)
Price. Decent size room. Parking right outside hotel (on street). Very helpful staff who did their best given what they had.
Old and tired decor. Toilet in ensuite not working - told to go down the hall. Very noisy neighbours but a bang on the wall at 2am had the desired effect!
Hotel is not well maintained and equiped (It is the simplest hotel I have ever lodged). Especially, there is odor/smell and heavy humidity in the bathroom (without effective circulation of air). The reception is not agreeable.
Cheap Friendly Location Daily change of towels
Toilet outside the room is just uncomfortable. Not a huge problem. All basics were in the room. For €40 per night we ignored the strange gasoline smell and just opened the window.
There are only public parking places available which is not free. No pilows served for the bed. Arriving to the hotel for our 2nd night, our room was full of belongings of other guests, they re-rented the room again until we was away, however at arrival we had to pay the full bill in advance. The rooms do not have toilet, there is only one per floor which is dirty. The rooms are close to the corridor and to each other, therefore they are noisy. In real life it is more old fashioned than on the pictures...
wifi signal is very good even in the top floor.
The location was decent. At first a little difficult to find, but once found it was a "Well duh" moment in realizing how easy it is once you find it. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had a nice view.
The receptionist was very pleasant
The room was BASIC. Only a bed and TV with small ensuite. No bedside cabinet, nowhere to hang a coat - not even a hook on the door. No tea making stuff and no soap or shampoo.
looks like it would be nice but isn't.
No towels in one of our rooms and visibly dirty towels in the other. Found hair in the bed. Toilet didn't work. Thin walls made it possible to hear everything in every room around you. Dodgy neighbourhood. Obviously not well cleaned or up kept.
Beds were clean enough. Flexible check out.
They are the worst hosts, I have ever seen. Even though I had a email confirmation for assistance for car parking, I did get nothing and left roaming for 2 hours in the midnight. If language is the barrier, should have been informed adequately before the confirmation. Heating system not working. Bathroom too much congested. Rooms are stinking.
good location. money for value..
room smelled very sting of fresh paint. Got headache from the smell. Curtains closed did not get the room dark. Towels were not in the room, I had to aks for them
The hotel manager was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and adequate. it is a very basic hotel but fine as a place to sleep. The streets were very quiet at night.
Unfortunately one of our two rooms had bed bugs which we discovered on the second night. this rather marred the visit. I would say it is only worth risking a stay here if you're hardy, un squeamish and used to all kinds of travel. It is more hostel than hotel but if it weren't for the bed bugs I would have said it was a good budget option.
I liked the price, very friendly concierge, great location right between the train station and downtown.
I found bedbugs in the first room I was in. I got a new one right away, with absolutely no trouble, and did not find any bugs after inspection. However, I was uneasy for the rest of my stay, and I consequently learned how dirty the room was.
Staff don't speak English. Clean room, disagreeable odour.
receptionist was very helpfull, despite language problems cheap
Staff did only speak french shower was not very clean just french toilets, not very usable for people from abroad no own parking
