Excellent location, within walking distance of the Old Town/center, next to a beautiful botanic park. Secure underground parking. Updated, clean and good-sized rooms, good and varied breakfast, very helpful and polite staff.
Spring mattress was too firm for my liking, however, that is a purely personal complaint, and I am really nitpicking here to find faults.
Centrally located- excellent for viewing the city. Staff very helpful, room good size, bed very comfortable. Will come back, needed more time to view the City, this is the ideal place with safe parking.
When I asked kindly for a quiet room because I am a quiet sleeper, the kind French lady working at the front desk at 4 p.m. on Oct. 10 went out of her way to get me one (Rm. 123) she should be richly rewarded and promoted for listening to her customers' needs. This made all the difference to us! She is an asset!
The location was excellent, being just on the edge of the city centre meant it was relatively quite but only a 10 minute walk to all the main sights. The hotel was beautifully decorated in a stylish, modern design and rooms were tasteful and well equipped. With a daily priced underground car park this hotel had everything we wanted. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
The staff were so friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable I had a great nights sleep. My room was on the road side and I didn't hear any noise
Beds were very comfortable Bathroom was good Wifi was good Cleanliness
Breakfast to expensive Very modest tea/coffee making facilities, only two tiny uht milk cartons, barely enough for 1 cup, I would have thought that as a 4 star, catering for many cultures including British, in room facilities could be better. Needs to be tidied up outside the front of the premises, weeded, pressure cleaned etc Would like a shower curtain as opposed to a shower screen, as try as I might, it was impossible to not soak the floor of the bathroom,
We stayed here on our way to south west France and it was by far the best over night stop we have had in recent years. Friendly, accommodating staff and clean, fresh family room. It was perfectly placed to stroll up into the town centre for dinner and we enjoyed a walk around the lovely market on the Saturday morning. Definitely stay here again.
The staff were helpful and polite, the room was clean .
Couldn't sleep well because the extractor fan in bathroom was very noisy really annoying as room was very dark and the bed quite comfy.Breakfast was disappointing all looked a bit stale and uninviting and it's quite expensive which you don't mind if the food is good.
A comfortable hotel close to shops. Staff very helpful and welcoming.
Very expensive for the facilities it offers. Parking is underground and has a height restriction. Rooms rather small.
New design of the building, pleasant park near the hotel. Nice and helpful staff. Very good secure underground parking. Very good breakfast. Location is in walking distance from historical center of Angers.
Restaurant is too expensive.
The helpfulness of the staff, the design of the room , the view of the gardens, the choice at breakfast, the location
Can't think of anything
Everything. The room amenities were excellent, the breakfast was very good and the restaurant offered a beautiful view of the botanical gardens, excellent menu and wine list. Staff were top notch.
Nothing. It was a very enjoyable stay.
Garage parking. Proximity to city centre sights. Excellent breakfast. Lovely comfortable bed
Very helpful and friendly staff, good choices for breakfast
Hotel was in a good position.
Restaurant was closed at weekends during summer holidays. Breakfast was exorbitant - added 100 Euros to our stay - maybe we should have lied and said only a couple of our party had breakfast - seemed to be what other guests were doing. Had to pay for parking at the hotel.
Location of hotel was good. Beds comfortable. Polite staff
Helpful and courteous reception , Helpful floor staff. Very good air con. Good pillows and decent quality mattress and linen. Very quiet (garden side), lovely views from the window
Could Mercury barge with the Gardens so and entrance is available from the hotel premises - would be a great selling point.
Good air con.Comfortable beds. Ample parking.
Angers itself was a bit of a let down. If there was any nightlife there we could not find it.
Clean Room in a good location
Better instructions required online to find the hotel! There are three Mercure hotels in Angers!
all apart from resturaunt
choice and price and would have been nice to have english menu
Convenience, friendly staff, room what I would expect, accept dogs for an extra charge
Having to pay for the parking, find that quite inacceptable in any hotel.
Excellent Hotel. Perfect localization. Friendly staff. Very confortable eand new acomodations. It reallly worth!
Great location with parking.
Cleanness, nice view of restaurant and spacious room
Large and new hotel. Large room. Conveniet underground parking.
As in (too) many hotels, the guest is not supposed to read in bed. Lighting in this hotel was extremely bad. Breakfast was too expensive (17.90 Euros).
