Nice location and at the city centre to explore the locations and more over it very near the Metro Station. The authorisation amount of 65 Euros which were charged to the card while booking is still not given back to the card. When we checked into the Hotel, the receptionist asked for the full amount of 325 Euros for 5 nights stay in cash and gave us the receipt. Even after 10 days we have not received the pre-authorisation amount to my card. The hotel guy told it will be credited back in 3 to 4 days and we are still waiting for the same.

The rooms are lovely and clean. The location is very close to metro station and Paris nord train station. No hair-dryer and boiler in this hotel. The bath room in the double room is a little bit too small.

The hotel was in an excellent location, 2 mins from metro for easy exploration of paris. Top floor room had a view of the roof of the sacre couer, Night receptionist was rude and did not speak a word of english in a hotel full of british and americans. Lift was broken so had to walk up 7 flights of badly lit stairs. Was locked out of the hotel from 2am-4am in the freezing cold because the night receptionist had fallen asleep with headphones in, when I complained about this instead of apologising he just screamed and shouted at me. Hotel manager then came into our room at 5am waking us up asking why we had someone extra in the room because a 3rd person was locked outside with us and walked in the same time. He proceded to quiz us about the 3rd person and look through wardrobes etc. the 3rd person was infact a guest of the hotel staying on the floor below. Again we recieved no apology for this. The room was in poor repair, one plug socket that did not work properly, paint flaking off woodwork, bathroom door broken, entry door to bedroom had a 4" gap at the bottom meaning every noise outside sounded like it was in our room. No bath towels provided which the website said there would be. Wifi not working. Easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The area is very bad, and not a place to be out at night. There was no hot water the first evening and following morning, though it was fixed by our 2nd evening; However, there was a leak in the waste pipe that flooded te bathroom ,which was not fixed. We asked for extra pillows, as there was only a thin bolster, but it took 3 times of asking & we did not get them until the 2nd evening! The wifi was also not working properly and we gave up after the 2nd evening. We had to walk approx; 1 km to get to a decent area, & to find a decent restaurant to eat in.

It is close from Sacre Coeur and the metro station. The bathroom is too small and under-equipped (one towel for two person). The room was a little bit too cold.

The location is excellent if you consider the price you are paying. The area might not look too good if you ain't familiar with Paris but is easy to reach from Gare du Nord (just 8 min walk), the Sacre Coeur is just 10 min away, Moulin Rouge just 15 min. And plenty of buses or the metro to go everywhere else. From reviews I read before booking I know lots of people feel uncomfortable with the area but it's really safe, you just have to get over the fact that it ain't the picture perfect Paris from the postcards. You have to think that the same hotel just a few streets away in a nicer area would be double the price. The rooms are fine for a short visit, heating working well, good shower. And the staff were very helpful, we had a bit of a medical emergency and they helped us out a lot and were very kind. By the way, while staying they were doing some building works and it looked as if the communal areas will be very much improved. Nowhere is perfect so.... The bed linen wasn't great, a bit outdated and pillows are the big long roll, quite uncomfortable if you ain't used to it. That's all I can say.

Close to Gare du Nord for Eurostar, and to metro. Very cheap. Room was very small, walls are thin, you can hear all noises in the corridoor, also loud flushing of toilet and shower in nearby rooms. OK for a short stay, but if you want to stay longer than one or two nights, choose somewhere else!

Very good strategic place in the heart of Paris (near Sacre Coeur, Montmartre, St.Denis,etc.) and also very good bus and metro connection till late night. Gare de Nord ten minutes of walk. Simple, but practical. If you don´t want to stay in hotel all the day, but take it as the starting point for walks and shopping - it´s ideal. Quite clean, with little bathroom, every day change of towels.
