It very near to underground and nice stuff people
Wifi is very poor
Size of Toilet No restaurants
The hotel has a very good location, most of the sights can be reached in minutes thanks to the near underground station. The staff was very nice and helpful
We've been in Paris in October, and our room was extremely cold - heating was not on yet, and the cleaning staff left the windows for the whole day open. The receptionist has provided some extra blankets, though.
It is placed in the heart of Paris, few hundred metres from the metro station.
the hotel is located near a metro station.
Breakfeast is poor
It's not the Ritz but you get what you pay for. I read some reviews after I booked but wasn't put off as for the price I paid I thought it was very good. It is very close to mainline & metro stations. The staff were friendly. The water was always hot enough for all of us to have showers. The room was big with a tiny balcony & lovely big windows. The pillows were typically uncomfortable French bolsters, the plumbing & electrics were interesting, but it's France - what else do you expect!
I don't like that people put on bad reviews about this hotel. The clue is in the price. If you expect more then you should pay more to stay elsewhere!! We would stay there again.
Room decent size Quiet Beds made Tidy Clean Bed was comfortable Staff helpful & friendly Handy location (10 minutes from Gare du Nord)
Bathroom smelled of urine despite being clean Room smelled of smoke because window opened onto other people's window's they smoke out of Very old fashioned, worn out looking bed sheets Floor towel in bathroom had holes Have to hand your key in every time you venture out, regardless of how long the room is hired for
Heating does not work so in the night it was a little cold. There is just blanket.
close to the station helpful staff
really bad design of the room, seems made by a braindead designer! unnecessarely unconfortable! Noise and light coming from the street, impossible to sleep. Smells painting
It's continence to by metros near hotel. I can enjoy the small balcony in the room.
The design of the room and corridors are not vertical, which is not that comfortable when I was walking. The staffs in reception are not hospitality to serve me. The area this hotel located looks unsafe at night as drunks crowded very often.
I stayed in Angleterre Hotel for 2 days. I booked double room with private bathroom. The location of the is good, just 5-7 min walk from Paris Nord Station and 1 min walk from Barbes metro station (Line 2 & 4). Locality is ok. There is a Quick shop beside the hotel.
Room is small and bathroom is very very small.
the location is good. not so dirty.
one day, no hot shower. the bed sheet is not changed. In the bathroom, we cant drain water away for the first 5days.
At first the only thing any good was the Wifi but on the 2nd night that didn't work either.
Where do I start. Dirty, noisy, walls were wafer thin. Shower was so small you couldn't lift your leg to wash your feet. Water was so hot you couldn't stand under it, the cold feed was not working to the shower. Hadn't been decorated it seemed since it was built.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was good, just one short block from the nearest metro station.
The carpet in the room was in a poor condition. It was too warm in the room, we had to open the windows, and it was noisy because of the trains being close so it was hard to fall asleep.
The WiFi was ok and I guess TV was ok
DONT STAY HERE The beds were gross right away we were finding random hairs like facial or something else and the blankets be nasty too we actually slept on top in our clothes, carpets were filthy and area was less than desirable
Good price, location and free Wi-Fi access
As expected small room and very small hall, but it doesn`t matter if you don`t want live there whole life
There were bed bugs in my bed and the hotel was noisy at night, don't stay here if you want to get a good night's sleep.
Location was great, accessible, near metro.
Not enough hair-dryer for the whole hotel.
It was close to the metro.
No tea or coffee making facilities provided. The kitchen only opened at 7:30.
Nothing to like!
We stayed one night at the Angleterre Hotel (in double bed room), only for its strategic location i.e. near Metro station, so easier to go anywhere. Our expectations were fully met for the short trip to Paris and Price wise per night is good compare to rest of the hotels available in that area. We reached the hotel at night 10.30 and found the guy in the reception was very kind and helpful. Free wifi is available and is very good. The hotel is just 5 meters walk from Sacre Coeur.
The area where it is very noisy and dirty. At night many suspicious people roam around and feel you scary. The hotel has a small lift can accommodate hardly 3 person. There is no AC as well as Uncomfortable bed&pillow in the room and Toilet area is not so big and clean enough.
Staff were rude and abrupt with us - can't even blame a language barrier as we study French at university and currently live in France. Was told to "shhh" going up the stairs even though we weren't even talking and it's not our fault that their stairs creaked. Felt like we were treated like children rather than paying costumers. Was given a double and a single bed in the room when we had requested 3 singles. There were holes in the sheets and the toilet barely flushed in our room. Was not expecting anything great in a budget hotel but this really did push it. Would recommend finding a cheap hostel over this - only reason we didn't is because we thought a hotel would be a little more comfortable but definitely not this one!
Really near from metro
Very poor cleanliness Truly small shower Humidity odor very deep TV with no remote Light bulbs not working
close to the stations. was able to check in early.
pictures on the website looked better than the real thing. tiny bathroom.
The location was great very accessible, near to everywhere. Staff was nice
