The hotel is near Gar du Nord
- Quite dirty - the room smells terrible - sometimes there is no hot water - fire alarm because of real fire: we saw smoke breaking out of the window. We ran from 6. floor to downstair but the staff said it was just a test cause they could solve the problem. It was really annoying.
Mattresses were very good.
Dangerous area. Room was like a hostel. Exposed painted pipes running across the ceiling. Tiny bathroom with tiny shower cubicle behind the door. Only small bolster pillows. Not even a picture on the walls!
the nice size of the room the bed the shower the staff were very kind and helpfull
the veiw from the window
There were termites in the room where we stayed! We were wounded from the blood-sucking termites! The room was very hot, no air condition or electric fan. We opened the window it was very noisy outside due to the vehicle and metro but we have no choice. It was a disaster!do not stay in this hotel!
The guy in the reception was very kind and helpful
Poor breakfast Dark toilet
Old hotel in bad location despite the metro à few meters.
I don't stay in the hotel, they shift me to another hotel one station after because there was a problem in my room and not ready and the other hotel was pretty good
Everything. Expensive and you get nothing for your money, uncomfortable beds (the bed was sloping downwards towards the headboard, so my legs were higher than my head!), the staff were rude and didnts speak a word of english (in a hotel? unacceptable), very creepy and dangerous area (the first time i walked outside i got offered drugs 3 times within 15 minutes from random guys on the street, in the middle of the day!), elevator is smaller than a phonebooth. DO NOT STAY HERE, spend more money and go somewhere else!
Location was very good close to Barbes Metro station and Montmartre. staff were friendly.
Used by school parties. Sometimes was noisy at night with the wooden stairs but nothing deal breaking for me at least. For the price and location was why I stayed there an extra two weeks to the one I had intended.
I have never seen any such hotel in my life. Where they did give a plate to customer on request. Very substandard. Also the desk person does not know how to tackle international travellers.
Location was not very safe. Our room was hot. Not much sockets. Squeaky floors.
Close to Montmartre and metro. A lot of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Very good for those who come to visit Paris as the city and don't need an luxury appartments.
At the day of booking, long time before arrival the money for the first night were blocked without any notification and information.
Staff Floor was fragile Bathroom smelled like urine Loud Didn't take card like stated online Terrible hotel
Place had wifi in the rooms, just get the password from the guy downstairs.
Staff was terrible, room was tiny, shower wouldn't drain, bed was uncomfortable and rough.
It was clean
Did not appreciate that when I went to pay for our rooms they did not want to accept a card and instead wanted cash contrary to what was posted. We were not notified that the airport shuttle was only to the airport not from and that there was quite a fee. The people at the front desk spoke very little English and did not speak German or Spanish at all! Very misleading and very unhappy. Will let you know that the rooms are extremely small and uncomfortable. Will not ever recommend or book with again.
Close to Metro (2 minute walk, Gare du Nord for Eurostar and Disneyland pick-up point 15-20 minute walk, room size was vey adequate, furnishings and décor a bit old but still serviceable and clean.
Very noisy street because of unloading from vehicles for large department store across the road. However the other plus points made up for it.
Situated right next to metro station Double room was very bright and spacious, single room was cramped Breakfast for 5 EUR
Located in Barbes neighborhood Elevator not working
Hotel is 1 min walk from a Metro station and 10 min walk from Gare du Nord station making it easy to get into Paris city and back to the station for the Eurostar.
Like with any hotel for this price, you'll appreciate that a bit a paint and new carpets could brighten up the hotel.
The location , connectivity
Price, location, cleanliness.
Old fashioned bathrom.
Noisy most of the night
Beds were very comfortable & I got two good night's sleep which is unusual in a hotel for me.
Room wasn't made up. Lift didn't work at night. This not only meant a walk to the 3rd floor but with wooden flooring, it could be noisy at night.
Location - easy walking distance to Gare du Nord and Sacre Coeur
Stairs only to small room on 4th floor, double and single bed instead of 3 singles as booked, tiny shower, no soap for handwashing, had to ask for regular sized bath towels - supplied only one plus 2 hand towels for 3 people! No food allowed in rooms. Daily room service - only one bed made and rubbish bin not emptied. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
The location and price.
My bathroom did not have paper tissue, nor was at best condition.
Fine - convenient location although neighbourhood not very nice. Hotel room adequate. One of the reception staff was friendly the other was a bit grumpy.
