Very comfortable room looking out over the streets of the medieval city. A historic hotel with attractive public spaces. Centrally located but quiet at night. Staff was helpful and friendly. Large breakfast. My parking space was fine but I could see where some of the spaces might be tight for larger cars.

Superb staff, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The attached garage is invaluable if your car is loaded to the roof and the overnight charge is reasonable. Pristine room, good breakfast; will definitely return.

This is a delightful hotel. The staff are all excellent - so friendly and helpful. I find this unusual in France. The public rooms and bedrooms are well furnished and extremely comfortable. Secure garage parking next to the hotel. It is a real pleasure to stay here.

First class refurbishment within the old town. staff very helpful and spoke English. We used the secure underground car park which has to be booked before arrival and we were very pleased with this facility. Difficult to find fault but I would be wary of the hotels recommendations regarding local dining establishments. Check these out for yourself before you book !

The hotel is completely renovated: the room was well equipped and spotlessly clean. It is located in the centre of the town and yet in a calm street with hardly any traffic. The hotel staff was very nice.

We have stayed at this hotel many tmes on our travels to Spain and the UK. The staff are so friendly and ever ready to be helpful. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spotless. The hotel is right in the centre of the city and has garage parking. There are a large choice of restaurants nearby and plenty of shops to keep one busy. The city of Bourge is very interesting especially on the historic side. All in all a very nice hotel and city. We have no negative thoughts about this hotel.

The room and service were excellent and the hotel was ideally located central to the town. We had a very pleasant one night stay at the beginning of our travels to Spain. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

Everything. The hotel was so enchanting . The staff did everything possible to make you feel truly welcom. The service was excellent . Can't wait for a return visit. A seat by the lovely fountain would has been lovely . Otherwise perfect in every way

Excellent hotel, clean and tidy with very friendly and helpful staff. The room we had was at the front of the hotel with nice views of the local street. Nice stroll to local bars, restaurants and cathedral. Parking can be difficult in high season so best pre-book the hotel garage for about 12 euros. Worth another visit in the future. Recommend.

This is our second visit to the Hotel d'Angleterre. We very much enjoy the ambiance of the hotel's setting and architecture which is underpinned by excellent hotel staff. We were able to book the same room as our previous visit, which has a double aspect allowing a view of the cobbled streets, the fountain and other old buildings including the Palace of Jacques Couers which is lit at night as part of the Nuit Luminere (not to be missed). Secure parking is available at E10 per day and is well worth considering.

Beautiful room and very helpful staff. The location was perfect for visiting all of the old section of Bourges: easy access to the Cathedral and right across the street from the Palais de Jacques Coeur. Parking is an issue and the lobby (only) smelled a little sweaty.

Very helpful staff who went to great trouble to ring Europcar to sort out the best route for us to return the hired car as the road was blocked. Situation could not be better. Tea & coffee making facilities in room, V. unusual in France. Room excellent with charming view over old buildings Not easy to find by car, the fault of Bourges not the hotel
