Everything but especially the staff.

First class refurbishment within the old town. staff very helpful and spoke English. We used the secure underground car park which has to be booked before arrival and we were very pleased with this facility.

Difficult to find fault but I would be wary of the hotels recommendations regarding local dining establishments. Check these out for yourself before you book !

Everything. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable surroundings, easy access to sights and shops, car parking on-site, excellent room and en-suite facilities including tea/coffee making. Charming staff.

We have stayed at this hotel many tmes on our travels to Spain and the UK. The staff are so friendly and ever ready to be helpful. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spotless. The hotel is right in the centre of the city and has garage parking. There are a large choice of restaurants nearby and plenty of shops to keep one busy. The city of Bourge is very interesting especially on the historic side. All in all a very nice hotel and city.

We have no negative thoughts about this hotel.

A very warm welcome on arrival and speedy attendance to our requirements, including the need for secure parking on site. All of the staff that we met were more than helpful and I would return here again with no hesitation. We booked 2 rooms; a twin comfort and a superior double; both tastefully furnished with very comfortable beds and spotlessly maintained. The internet service was easy to use, incorporating a range of options (and free!); the continental breakfast was of a very high standard and suited everyone in our family party. We are regular travellers and this hotel and the town will be on our list for a return visit.

Everything. The hotel was so enchanting . The staff did everything possible to make you feel truly welcom. The service was excellent . Can't wait for a return visit.

A seat by the lovely fountain would has been lovely . Otherwise perfect in every way

Splendid greeting and helpful staff

This is our second visit to the Hotel d'Angleterre. We very much enjoy the ambiance of the hotel's setting and architecture which is underpinned by excellent hotel staff. We were able to book the same room as our previous visit, which has a double aspect allowing a view of the cobbled streets, the fountain and other old buildings including the Palace of Jacques Couers which is lit at night as part of the Nuit Luminere (not to be missed). Secure parking is available at E10 per day and is well worth considering.
