Location location and location Dirty, noisy. The door to the bathroom didn't close, the ceiling was terrible! At 6.30 am construction workers were singing outside our room seems like it was inside. I didn't expect much from a 2 star hotel - but I believe it at least should be clean and everything inside should work properly To compare with, the nght before we had stayed in a 1star hotel in Luxembourg which cost 61 euros for 3 people and everything was excellent

After I reviewed all the comments I expected worth then I saw. Nice receptionist whose name is Bassam(Big thank you to him) gave me cosy, clean room just after renovation. Bathroom was completely new, towels were clean everyday. Great price and location. 5 minutes walk from Opera. Nose from renovation starts from 8.30 am. Wi Fi is for additional charge.

Location around the corner from the Opera, Olympia Hall, rer trains and subway. This is the center of Paris! The rooms renovated and there is a new furniture. I did not expect this level of accommodation. It was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately the hotel room is a small area. In Paris, almost all the hotels have small rooms.

Horrible hotel with very small room, terrible view on the building under construction. No decoration in the room at all. The door to the bathroom is almost destroyed. Don't believe in the photos on the booking.com!

location It was cramped, shabby, noisey. Bed and bedclothes were shabby the mattress was old, no breakfast room just a tray to the room. the carpet of the narrow hallway was filthy and covered in dust with electrical wires criss cxrossing the hallway. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in an absolute nightmare.

Excellent Location. So convenient to come from Airport as bus from Airport to Opera house stops less than 500 meters from hotel. All shopping and eating joints are in the vicinity. Metro is at stone's throw. Rooms are small. Overvalued a bit. They have no coffee/tea facility at all. Indians need a cuppa, first thing in the morning.

Location the hotel was filthy. The carpet in the rooms stained, the toilet seat chipped, the furnishings dingy, the toilet door did not close, the beds were very narrow (75cm or 80 cm at the most ie 2ft6). As we had booked for 3 nights we asked to move out straight away however inspite of the poor conditions they said we had to give 48hours notice ie till end of our stay. The breakfast room was closed for works, so there was absolutely no common/reception space. Breakfast instead of the advertised buffet was limited to continental and could only be served in the room but our was too small to have breakfast in it. We asked to speak to the manager and in spite of us staying at hotel from sat to tuesday the manager never came nor was contactable by reception staff who claimed they were not authorised to either shorten the cancellation period or give us a discount. The hotel across the road was decent and had rooms at the same price, this one was unacceptably dirty, poorly maintained and staff by people who did not care about customer service.

Excellent location near Paris Opera House and Galaries Lafayette, friendly staff. Rooms and hotel a bit tatty. Could do with a bit of an upgrade but I guess if so prices would increase and it is quite competitively priced. Also as others have said rooms are thin walled and therefore noisy.

The front desk person who checked us in was friendly and professional. Location is good for Opera district. Night clerk - front desk person who checked us out was rude, bossy and imcompetent. I needed to alter our return stay to the hotel - both my sister and I had rooms booked for 2 nights and my sister only needed one night as she was returning to Canada a day earlier than me. He said he couldn't help at first and then said he could and then said he couldn't guarantee that my sister's room would be available. He wasted our time and we missed our train as a result! I cancelled the reservation so they lost 3 room nights instead of 1. I didn't want to return to Paris on a Friday night not knowing if my sister had a room and I didn't feel comfortable staying at the hotel on my own given this man's demeanor. I also learned from my sister that she had no electricity in her bathroom in the morning. As we had to leave very early it was still dark outside, which made her have to shower in the dark. She hadn't the time to complain and couldn't find me in my room to have a shower there - as I was trying to deal with the above at the front desk. Hotel was being renovated as were 2 others on our stay - this was the only one where the renovation dust was visible throughout the property.

The staff were very helpful and friendly . Good location and probably will be fine when the renovations are complete in a years time. The state of the hotel is not good as they are undergoing badly needed renovations. Very small rooms and.breakfast served in the room as no restaurant in operation during renovations. Would have been helpful if hotel or Booking.com had explained the problem and a discount was offered.

The location- it's beyond praise!!! Several metro stops within a few minutes walk, grocery store- 2 min, Gallery LaFayet- 10 seconds, Grand Opera- 4 min, Rossy Bus stop- 5 min ( straight shuttle from the airport, 10 euros, 45-60 min). Old shabby and tiny showers, but managable for a couple of days, you will not spend any time in the room besides sleepeing in it after long days exploring Paris.
