- wifi - location
- The Wc is too small - the shower doesnt have curtain -there is a the kitchen downstair, so all the odors go up in the rooms - The room was not properly cleaned before i checked in.
Friendly but run down hotel in Paris 'urban village' of Voltaire.
No breakfast, though plenty of cafes in vicinity. No lift.
some refrigerator to keep my break fast stuff
mother said as I can't stay for a while in there saloon at hotel. why I thought it was my stay hotel for 7 days.why so
Good location (close to Place de Bastille)- the nearby subway station can be slightly sketchy at night. Staff is friendly - they fix the flickering light bulb problem instantly. The room is clean, and the furniture is sufficient and relatively new.
The room is not very sound isolated - when other people comes in and out of their rooms you can definitely hear loud noises from door closing etc. There were a moth and a few crawling insects on the ground the first night; though I haven't seen any more afterwards.
The location is great. Just 300m from Voltaire station. Wifi was also great. Staff came to clean up the room every morning.
It was very hard to find at first because it was hiding on a very small ave. but after you found it, the location was so great.
The hotelier was very helpful and went out of her way to help me find a lost camera. Also lent me an umbrella when it rained.
Steep stairs to carry my lugguge up. Very dark in corridors. Could not open my curtains because room looked straight into another room, and over a narrow service alley with rubbish bins etc
Wifi Close to train station
Owner didn't speak a word of English Owner abused me in French because I didn't speak French Not very clean Uncomfortable bed If the temperature is warm you have to open your window and if everyone's window is open you hear various people snoring
No stairs. Internet connection got lost on my last day, so I missed some important emails.
No wifi except in lobby
location is really good, very near to Metro station, price is ok
small room, nothing in it, no elevalor, wifi didn't work
Location & price.
Lack of elevator.
Good location, good price for Paris, comfortable bed, warm shower.
The wi-fi they offered didn't work. Also the place is very no-frills. The room had a bed, a tv and a bathroom and that was the extent of it.
Nice people, good and convinient location, Small rooms but nice and clean
it's close to the metro station.
This is the most horrible hotel I have visited. We have booked for two friends a double room, but they gave as a single bed, the room was so tiny, there was no space in the toilet, no towels, no bath. The bed was dirty, the whole building was smelling. WiFi didn't reach to the fifth floor. And most important, if you book it, you have to pay in advance the full amount before you will see your booked "apartment".
This is a basic no frills hotel ideal for a short stay. Its clean and well located with a very nice friendly reception staff.
Would have appreciated a kettle and some tea bags!
I like this district. everything was good. The room was quiet small but we just slept there.
Location is close to metro station
Metro station nearby, nice crew, helpfull, restaurants and supermarkets within meters. nice low cost for one night at Paris.
French spoken mostly, thin walls, sorta noise, sort of a love hotel on weekends.
Possibly the sole advantage here is the location, as hotel is really close to the tube station.
No elevator, even if you have to scroll up to 5th floor with your suitcase, the receptionist agrees to help up to 3rd floor only. Forget about wi-fi and good smell - I stayed here with a kid for the sake of price and only because we arrived at a moment's notice, and the smoked room did it best to finally ruin the whole impression. Beware, the spot closes at 1 a.m., so be ready to spend you night outdoors if you arrive later. The main door seemed to be made of paper.
Easy to find 2 Minutes from the metro Good for the price
A lot if stairs Cramped en-suite Only French tv
I liked the fact there was no lift which meant one had to walk up four flights of steps.
No Breakfast Facilities curtains to bedroom did not fit at all, they should get a firm in to supply and fit. The towels were hand towels. The pillow was thin and long
Great location (just few minuted from metro), nice and helpful staff. The hotel is not luxury, it is budget but has everything you need (I've stayed in single room): big bed, TV, toilet and shower, wifi. The room was clean everyday, bed was changed once in few days.
Location very close to the metro. Restaurants and shops also close. Staff were nice, spoke average English, good enough.
Room was cold, no heating. Telephone in room not working. Room not in a good state, needs renovating.
Internet connection and the location
No tool for making hot drinks
