Able to walk to all the main attractions from the location. Supermarkets, bars/cafes, McDonald's and metro on the doorstep. All the area has a lively nightlife hotel is on a quiet side street. Although room was very basic and dated everything was in good working order and very clean. Private shower/toilet a bonus for the price.
Not having tea/coffee facilities although it would be asking a bit too much for price. Sheets not changed in the 4 nights we were there although towels were changed everyday. Can't complain for the price we paid.
very nice staff, perfect location, romantic building
sampoo and soap was undercalculated
The only thing is near from metro station
Very far from all the famous places and they didn't have lift room is too small and not comfortable i will not go again to this hotel
Great location...near to restaurants and supermarkets....very close to voltaire metro station where you can go anywhere....the area is very safe....WIFI was very good....ask for 1st or 2nd floor at the reception as there is no lifter ;)
the hotel is very poor compared to other hotels but if you are solo traveller and you will stay all your day outside the hotel enjoying Paris, then you will only need a secured place at good location just for sleeping.....so go ahead
the location & price
I'll remember nice & warm hostess Anya! She was very kind. Hotel Anya, location was very good, room was cosy, I'll recomand this hotel!
- easy to find, close to the Metro station - close to Marais block - nice building, romantic window view to a tiny courtyard - no smell of an old dirty building - friendly staff - pretty quiet place for a night time
- dirty floor, window, handles, walls, etc. I could not stay there for more than one night - sheets are old and not of a good quality - on one square meter there is shower joint with a toilet
the convenient location; the friendly client service; the good price comparing to other hotels; The room is small, the stairwell is narrow but OK for such price.
can't hold the window open; (also no bar installed on the window) no fan in the bathroom
-shower right in the toilet -window to the inner yard
Same feeling about the location, it's really close to the metro station "Voltaire". If you search the google map, you'll find it easily. All the speed of check-in and check-out is fast. Wifi connected successfully.
You need to take everything by yourself, there's no elevator in the hotel. And it's really not verly clean with the old building. Not very good English speaker~
- wifi - location
- The Wc is too small - the shower doesnt have curtain -there is a the kitchen downstair, so all the odors go up in the rooms - The room was not properly cleaned before i checked in.
Friendly but run down hotel in Paris 'urban village' of Voltaire.
No breakfast, though plenty of cafes in vicinity. No lift.
Location is good and the staff seemed friendly and helpfull. Lots of restaurants near. In the trendy 11th.
The place is not clean enough, not at least by nordic standards. The room and bathroom were very small but that was to be expected. The bed how ever was horrible. Shears were not clean, full of other peoples hair and had cigarrette burned holes in them. Plankets were visibly stained and crusty. We had to change hotel, there was no way we'd sleep in there.
some refrigerator to keep my break fast stuff
mother said as I can't stay for a while in there saloon at hotel. why I thought it was my stay hotel for 7 days.why so
Good location (close to Place de Bastille)- the nearby subway station can be slightly sketchy at night. Staff is friendly - they fix the flickering light bulb problem instantly. The room is clean, and the furniture is sufficient and relatively new.
The room is not very sound isolated - when other people comes in and out of their rooms you can definitely hear loud noises from door closing etc. There were a moth and a few crawling insects on the ground the first night; though I haven't seen any more afterwards.
The location is great. Just 300m from Voltaire station. Wifi was also great. Staff came to clean up the room every morning.
It was very hard to find at first because it was hiding on a very small ave. but after you found it, the location was so great.
The hotelier was very helpful and went out of her way to help me find a lost camera. Also lent me an umbrella when it rained.
Steep stairs to carry my lugguge up. Very dark in corridors. Could not open my curtains because room looked straight into another room, and over a narrow service alley with rubbish bins etc
Wifi Close to train station
Owner didn't speak a word of English Owner abused me in French because I didn't speak French Not very clean Uncomfortable bed If the temperature is warm you have to open your window and if everyone's window is open you hear various people snoring
No stairs. Internet connection got lost on my last day, so I missed some important emails.
No wifi except in lobby
location is really good, very near to Metro station, price is ok
small room, nothing in it, no elevalor, wifi didn't work
Location & price.
Lack of elevator.
Good location, good price for Paris, comfortable bed, warm shower.
The wi-fi they offered didn't work. Also the place is very no-frills. The room had a bed, a tv and a bathroom and that was the extent of it.
Nice people, good and convinient location, Small rooms but nice and clean
