Ghisonaccia has really beautiful white, long and clean sandy beaches and very nice pinewood forests that invite for long walks. I was surprised to find in mid September only a few people at the beach :-) There is also a big Leclerc supermarket and a Spar supermarché in the town center. Unfortunately there is from morning to evening a constant flow of cars from Bastia towards the south through Ghisonaccia. So it's unfortunately not really nice in the center. There is also no possibility of renting a bycicle - but to be honest, you wouldn't want to drive on the main road either.

Eric is a super host :-), helped me with advice and he took care of all requests right away. Small camping with only 10 homes, fells cozy and private , just what you need for a nice family vacation. The hose had windows with mosquito nets, so no need to use candles or other chemical stuff inside the hose.

The beach also was lovely, warm ocean with some small waves for fun. Not overcrowded. The staff at reception were very friendly also. Apartment had a dishwasher and clothes washer which were excellent and very useful.

Walk 5 mins to beach or 10 mi a to small town with restaurant or bit further into Ghisonaccia. All amenities, parking for the motorbikes, fantastic value for money (we were there off season). Could easily have stayed a week!

The sea is very near, 30 meter, there was no crowd (in July) and the bungalow is not big but functionally very well structured (for a familiy with two adults and two children - 3 and 10 years old).
