location and security
the access route very hard and cant access with transport. the way or method to get the key are very difficult
No hot water No wifi They stopped replying to my emails when I complained about these problems
bad street and not safe. the picture are different from the apartment. there is no elevator and our apartment in 4'th floor and we have heavy luggage with no helpers. we call the office no answer. bad furniture and broken. bad lights. no one to contact because the office is close .
It was clean
Apartment was nothing like the one advertised. It was run down. There was a weak spot in the floor we were afraid to step on, but had to because it was in the middle of the kitchen area. The neighbourhood was dicey - by 9PM, prostitutes lined the street. Definitely not a place I would have stayed by myself, let alone with my children. The check-out process was extremely inconvenient - we had to travel to the rental office to return the key, meaning we had to get up 1/2 hour early for our very early morning train ride, and drag all the children out as well because the door could not be locked without he key. Also, only one key was provided, meaning either everybody had to go in and out together, or those left behind were locked in (or left with an unlocked door in a not-so-safe part of town).
The location was great! Just a few steps away from the metro station.
It took us 3 hours to find the deposit box where our keys were left by the staff. Looking for the office and the apartment was like a treasure hunt! Please note that when the office provides you with the address, they mean 1bis and not IBIS. Once we figured that out, finding the office and the apartment was a cake walk. When you get off at the metro station, take right and go to Beuchardon street and its the first building to the left behind the bistro and the apartment is just 5 mins away from there. It was really hot in the apartment and the prostitutes under the building are too noisy and the whole area smells of urine. Do not stay here with your family.
The washroom is chocked. Microeave oven is not working. The stove is not working The rent is too high
Location Neighborhood Cleaness Well equipped kitchen Cute attic appartment Good price for what we got
The appartment was on a fourth floor without lift, which made it very tiring after hours of walking.
The shopping district may not be suitable for young families with children.
A small studio apartman in Paris, well-equipped and clean in a very nice, quiet building. Great location, very helpful staff (they were quick to anwers emails), various metro stations in the vicinity, absolutely recommended.
Some of the kitchen equipment showed signs of constant use; nothing problematic but they should be replaced soon.
Location in bar street and close to Ile de al Cite
To get key at different place took long time and a lot of effort, especially when we traveled with luggage and did not know the city. Apartment was not clean when you got into, smell was bad as not ventilated. Shower facility is too old and did not work properly. No house keeping. Sewage pipe was stuck. Light bulb was burnt but not repalced
Location is near metro. The apartment is quite spacy
The prostitutes on the street. The fact that I get a second key only after strong discussion with the person from reception. The stair way was in capital repair.
Location was near the metro. This apartment is good for a solo traveler with little luggages. The view from balcony was good.
Have to walk to the top floor even thought it was only 4th floor but feels like 7th floor to reach it every night. It's not good idea if you are traveling with kids or elder. Also not a good idea if you have lots of luggages. The bathroom was clean but difficult to take shower in such a pan house style. We got hits many times when got in to bathroom.
The closest metro stop is a 2mins walk from the apartment and it was only a few metro stops away from the Notre Dame. The street is quiet at night time despite it turning into a red-light district. There is a supermarket really close by and lots of cafes and bistrots. Wifi in the apartment was great and fully functional.
The mattress was not very comfortable and the shower curtain was not very clean and could do with being changed.
Good location. Able to 'drop' luggage
Last minute instructions were untimely and poor. Cleanliness was poor considering each stay carries a 49 Euro charge. Equipment was well worn and TV signal and coffee machine stopped working while we were there.
We stayed at 24 Aboukir Apartment. Close to Metro and shops. Fast WiFi, full equipped kitchen, nice and comfortable and renovated apartment. Very informative email on "how to check in, etc"
Extremely late "check in" Not good cleaning (esp when paying extra for housekeeping), mold on shower curtain. Prostitutes on the area 24/7!!! This can make some nights noisy......
narrowest flight of stairs, improper heating, smallest room, with objects around hindering your movement. You cant carry a check in baggage through stairs and the lift can hold just one person without luggage. So i had to send my luggage by lift then take the stairrs to remove it from the lift.
Facilities were good and staff was helpful in arranging for the keys, etc.
Noisy part of Paris and neighbourhood is questionable, especially for younger children. No plugs available for both bath and bath room basin. Initially the bath plug was stuck in the bath and we could thus not empty the bath which made it impossible for the resyt of the family to bath or shower. A plumber did come the next day to fix. However he removed the plug, thus leaving us with no plugs for either the bath of basin in the bath room. Further we were not advised that there was no lift in the building and we had to carry our luggage for three and five floors as we had two apartments, one on the third and the other on the fifth floor. The apartment's stairs and doors were also in the process of being maintained (painted) and this left a heavy odour in the air and made movement difficult.
The location is ok, can get around easily and there's a mini mart just down the street.
Some of the things are not working in the apartment. Disappointed.
Location --- easy access to key museums of interest, food, bakery, fruit vendors, bus and metro stations.
very old and dirty , neglected furniture and sanitary no isolation with others rooms no cupboard !!!! just dirty cabinet where they deposit all cleaning tools and the electrical panel !!! incredible never seen before !!!! it is not save also
Apartment was clean and perfect for our needs. Metro very close by, shops and restaurants easily accessible.
The apartment was clean and central to all the tourism sights in Paris. Having our own kitchen was nice for preparing breakfast in the mornings.
The staff was useless in helping us locate either the central office or the actual apartment. We had to depend upon the help of local people, which I consider completely unsatisfactory. I also though that the "cleaning fee was pretty high, considering we had no cleaning service for the three nights we were there.
All the towels and blankets were dirty. I doubt they have washed all the towels and blankets. The toilet water is too small. Everything in the apartment is dirty.
Location. It was a place to sleep.
The place is in need of repair. Was shocked to find the poor condition of bathroom and tired kitchenette. Tiles falling apart looking dirty underneath and water around toilet and bath to imply a leek. Tiles on floor need a good scrub. No jug to boil water and for an appartment, it wasnt easy doing your own food so we ended up having to go out. I did contact them re condition, but no response. Noise travels and you can hear everything, but thats ok. Do not generally like to give negative feedback but was very disappointed when we were charged a high price for our stay. The accommodation did not live up to its photos or description.
Close to metro
No lift in the apartment. We're given 2 rooms in different apartment when booked together. Room structure was very poor..value for money also poor
