We stayed at the apartment in Beautreillis street. It was a nice building with beautiful entrance. Small apartment but as we expected a parisian apartment to be. It was quiet and very warm. It has large windows and nice view of the courtyard. Nice cooking facilities.
There was no lift (we stayed on the 3rd floor) and it was quite difficult to go up after a tiring day in paris. It should be a warning in the room that at the end of your stay, in order to leave the key to the apartment, you have to go down first and open the gates(and then go to the 3rd floor again to leave the keys). We were trapped in the courtyard and waited any resident to open the gate for us.. There was very poor lightening in the room.It had many light bulbs, none of which was working. The bed was short (we are medium height),and the stairs you use to go to the bed very inconvenient to climb. There were no shampoo, or shower gel provided. Last but not least, the room was clean but not as clean as we expected with the 50euro fee paid. Not properly cleaned plates and cups, very dirty teapot (wouldn't dare to use it).It is a very small apartment,it should have been perfectly cleaned,or not charge the 50euros.
very small apartment, 49 € cleaning fee for 15 sqm. If you are alone it is impossible to leave the key on the table as you have to open the gate for leaving...
Location! Studio is bijoux but has everything required.
A mirror in the bedroom would be useful. Not a dislike - just a suggestion.
The wifi is very good, the place is not far from the city centre.
There was no sign of the apartment. Neighbors even do not know the apartment. The process of collecting the key is not easy for any stranger. Kitchen tools need improvement. The staircase is not for this century.
I loved pretending I really had a Paris address. The location of the apartment was perfect for me, exactly in the heart of my favorite arrondisement.
Sometimes it's nice to have a concierge.
Stayed in rue Antonine apartment, right on St. Paul metro. Big living area, bedrooms decent size. Location fantastic, no elevator but that's ok for us. Good security, everything on our door step, metro station, supermarket, restaurants and cafés. Beds very comfortable. We requested a mattress to be delivered for our 10yr old so he didn't have to sleep in lounge fold out and staff more than accommodating!
Only one key, tv arial didn't work on last night of our stay so we tried a DVD but that was broken also. Informed staff. Not much a problem as we were out and about.
Location - quiet, safe, central, nice area Well organised key pick up/drop off procedure. Clear instructions
some light bulbs didn't work along with some of the power points
The apartment is nicely located near the downtown and metro station.
The late check-in (from 17:00) together with too far-off location of the office from the apartment are very inconvenient (you need to travel twice with your luggage, if you arrive before 17:00). The apartment was very different (much worse!) from shown on the website photo, rather dirty (table, floor, toilet) and very uncomfortable: there was no any wardrobe, or other place for clothes.
the location is very good and the house host also is good. The house is very comfortable. It is a good choice to live in parice while travel.
Bars, restaurants and supermarket on the square. Notre dame nearly at your doorstep.
No elevator Noisy floor
The Wifi and being close to the corner store
Charge you $50 for cleaning and the dishes were filthy 24 min walk from where you have to pick up the key No proper directions from the person at reception. Stairs going up to apartment are very worn and dangerous
the appertment location is great.
need to go to deferent aria to pic up the key and return the key, very uncomfortable and takes long time.
Fantastic location - walk out directly onto a street full of designer shops and cafes. Only 10 minutes walk to Notre Dame. Having said that, the apartment was very quiet in the evenings. Wifi worked perfectly. Staff briefings before arrival ensured that it was easy to find the office, key and apartment. Apartment is quite basic - but fine and clean. Had; wifi, TV, kettle, iron, ironing board, washer, hob oven, fridge with small ice compartment, microwave, hairdryer, one small bar of soap, shampoo, shower gel, bottle opener.
I can see why some people find it difficult to locate office/key/apartment ... but in fairness, it was fully explained that there was a need to do this. The apartment and the office were 30 minutes walk or 5-10 mins' taxi ride apart. If you are willing to put up with this minor inconvenience at the start of the trip - the location of the apartment is worth it. Only one key for the apartment is a slight inconvience if in a bigger group - I believe that further keys can be purchased (20E).
Very tiny, cramped could hardly call it an 'apartment', very very disappointing.
Good quiet location, lot's of restaurants, easy access to metro.
Location: near the metro outside. Comfortable and clean.
location is great!!
The apartment is very old, the facilities which provided is old and little. during the time we stay, the apartment is still under renovation, so this make the surrounding area dirty and discomfort.
I was charged in €50 for a cleaning job in an apartment very small. I thought that extremely expensive and it was not included in the price that booking.com showed me after my search.
very nice apartment
check in procedure (key taken from office, which is distant from the apartment)
The apartment was beautiful. Close to the metro, and had many shops downstairs.
The check in location was a little too far off and the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. We were stranded outside the office for an hour and had to walk to and fro many times before we got some help. Although the apartment was gorgeous, we were only given one key for the six of us. The door lock was partially faulty and we had to spend 1 hour trying to figure out how to open it. The pin code to the apartment downstairs was also a little erratic and we could sometimes get in, sometimes we couldn't and had to call someone upstairs to come unlock for us
Apartment is located in a beautiful 17th building in the lively 4th arondissement. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. Great area for retro furniture shopping.
Picking up keys in a very different location than the apartment is less practical for travellers arriving late, yet the procedure for picking up keys from a safe box works very well
-location of the apartment was good. close to the metro, many sites, and lots of good restaurants and shopping. but the fact that the office location was no where near the apartment was a major hassle. -spacious -wifi, heating system, and water all worked well, no issues
-you have to check in at one place, while your hotel is on the other side of paris. this is terribly inconvenient when hauling luggage. -we were unable to check in early. check in wasn't until 5pm!! -apartment was very old, paint chipping off walls. very poor lighting. i felt like i was in a dorm room. -person who was at the office at check in did not speak english. -getting into the actual apartment was confusing and difficult. there were 3 doors leading into the complex that had several codes. being foreign and not use to these kinds of entry ways, it made getting there extra stressful. one of the residence had to help us. -the pictures posted online of the apartment included another apartment as well, it was a bit deceiving.
Main door very hard to open if don't know that type of lock.
The position was fantastic in the heat of everything and the metro outside.
A little confusing to get to the apartment our taxi driver dropped us at what he thought was the office, we had to collect the key and it was confusing and walk 40 to the apartment and that was late at night an episode to remember just make sure you have all the facts about it we were not prepared
