Dont go there! Just stay away !!!
Living within the neighborhood, walking distance to underground station, supermarkets, and shops.
Noisy neighbor, party to late night on weekend/ heard of shouting noises during midnight. Cooking pan is bad condition, the coating is peeling off. Only staircase accessible.
Excellent location, it was really great to be so close to the canal and take a walk at the evening and see all the people in good mood there. It is nice to stay around the local people.
Few things where not good... No dish washing sponge in the kitchen, no extra toilet paper and the electricity shut down so we had to make a call to get that back on. One thing to consider - better sign when come in through the front door. We couldn´t find that "B" entrance, because we didn´t think that we where supposed to walk passed the garbage cans.
Just what we wanted
The location was good and the flat comfortable.
Having to walk far to pick up the keys.
All services we did not like it. What we see in the internet all of them are not true. Do not have wifi, the place it is very untidy. We are not happy staying at your aprtment. Its disgusting
no air con
Forget all the rubbish hotels with damp rooms and broken lifts, this is a real Parisian apartment, in a real Parisian street with real Parisian neighbours, who say hello when you meet them. The apartment was beautiful with everything you need, especially a fridge for cold beers and storing all the cheese! The people who run these apartments are incredibly friendly and efficient, really couldn't praise them too highly. We stopped near the Canal St. Martin, a beautiful area with loads of nice bars, bakeries and superb veggie food in a neighbourhood Lebananese place run by a complete nutter with a rock music obsession.... Great fun! In short, no more shabby hotels, from now on it's a please yourself, self-contained apartment.
The sleep quality was wonderful except for some guys working noisily on a next door appt block, way outside the control of Apartment Paris.
Location is great. Loads of shops and train station nearby. The flat is quiet.
Tv stopped working for some reason ... Couldn't watch tv for my whole stay. Lift doesn't take you all the way to the 6th floor where the flat is.
The appartement was not like the pictures at all.
going home to working shower, going home to our clean house, to pots and pans that were clean.
we were given the apartment at 25 Rue du Faubourg du Temple. It was dirty, the shower head was broken, the fixture to hold the shower head to the wall obviously broke along time ago and has not been replaced. The coffee maker was missing the insert to hold the coffee filter, the pots and pans were so dirty that they were foul. The was not enough knifes for the number in our family. The sofa beds were infact just a low bed frame with a mattress and cushions. The cushions had strange stains as did the black sheets on the mattresses in the living room. The dust was no longer dust but ingrained dirt, especially in the bathrooms. It is important to note that there is a 49 euro charge for cleaning - this apartment has not been properly cleaned for a very long time. Also not that there was a review on this apartment on the 28th June which mentioned the issues that we found. I did email Booking.com with my concerns about these issues they did nothing to help, I was very unimpressed with them they just talked of getting out booking cancelled which would have left us with no where to stay just days before we were due to travel. I did take photographic evidence of the problems so that booking.com can investigate the standards of the property
Easy check-in and check-out procedures
Our host has a range of apartments, and we never saw a detailed description or pictures of the apartment we were dealt. We learned about our apartment having a loft bed, which was accessed by a ladder, only when we entered the apartment. It didn't matter to us but it might matter to some. We gave 'average' on most criteria because our assessment will be applied to all apartments.
The actual apartment was nothing like the photos. It claimed to sleep eight; lucky for us we have four young children who could share the same bed. The lights were unsafe, with downlights not fixed and hanging loose from the ceiling. The fridge and washing machine didn't work. The cutlery and plates in the cupboard were dirty. The bathroom facilities were substandard. Overall, a very low and disappointing point to an otherwise excellent trip away.
People at the office were very professional, helpful and friendly, easy access to metros , and train stations., quite neighborhood
4th floor with out lift. The key to main door is tricky. Not suitable foe old people with luggage.
The price and the location
The picture isn't even close to the apartment you rent. The process to get your keys is through a bunch of coded doors, with no human interaction. The bathroom had black mold all over the ceiling, behind the unsteady faucet on the sink, and on the floor. The walls need a paint job. I felt like we were in an abandoned apartment that had furniture and utensils.
The location is not bad, and the transportation is convenient, and the red colored door and stairs, the living room and the bedroom, and the kitchen, almost all
The only, but serious problem, is the toilet. It didn't work very well, even after we had called the company, the problem were not solved until our checking out.
I liked the appartment it was just the right size for our small famiy.
The area was a bit shaddy.
Located fairly close to subway. Wifi. Inexpensive for Paris-hard to find accommodations for 6 people. Office staff was nice.
We booked for 6 people. Only had beds for 4, so 2 were left to sleep on futon. Kitchen was very small. Not enough room to cook anything. Bathroom barely had enough room to turn around in and shower was disgusting. Hot water heater only had enough hot water for 2 quick showers. Our apartment was on the 5th floor (even though directions said 4th floor). Very long spiral staircase climb with suitcases. No parking. Staff was nice if you catch them in the office. Otherwise, they are non-existent. Probably would not stay here again.
The location was good. Wifi was nice.
This isn't a hotel. You are renting an apartment in Paris. You pick up the keys and have to get to your apartment. We had a lot of trouble finding ours. There was only 2 pillows and we had to buy our own toilet paper. The worst part was that there was construction in the building next door. Last thing we were looking for on vacation
It was not as on the photo sold to is. Not on the canal as advertised. None of the lights in the rooms were working.
The only good thing about this apartment (25 rdf du Temple) was the location.
The apartment was nothing like any of the photos on the booking.com site. The beds were uncomfortable and one of the quilts had dried blood on it. The apartment didn't cater for the number of people, not enough towels, pillows and the shower was broken. There were no lights and not all power outlets functioned. Backpacker accommodation would have been better. Would definitely not recommend the apartment.
Perfect location and cosy apartment which made you feel like a Parisien.
The apartment was not very clean, especially couch and pillows.
