Appart'hôtel Archipel

I am not very happy with the hotel,we parked right outside the hotel door with our car and had our 2 very expensive mountain bikes stolen from the bike rack,the 4 locks were snipped with cutters and the hotel said nothing they could do, the security cameras were not working,staff not helpful at all.wouldnt recommend this hotel and will be writing on trip advisor about it.

We stayed in an appartment which was brilliant for a family of four with two seperate bedrooms and a lounge area as well as a balcony. Breakfast is quite expensive but at this hotel the children had breakfast free which helped. There is a pool which is fine for the children.

Great location for sightseeing Got a good night's sleep . Hotel was busy but quiet. We look forward to using Appart'hotel again

Great location only 10mins into town. Also as it was an aparthotel and we have young children it gave us the option to prepare food rather than use expensive cafe's. This was basic accommodation but worked better for us than a normal hotel and as the apartment had 2 rooms it allowed us to put the kids to bed and we could watch tv etc

The accommodation was very basic more kitchen equip would be better, the Internet connection was expensive, breakfast was expensive (we found cheaper in town over looking the harbour) and it needed a wash hand basin in the toilet

Good to have a swimming pool and the breakfast on the first day was very good.

Breakfast on the second day was poor as most of the food had been eaten by the time we got there, which although late was still before 10.30. The bedroom should have a second door not just a window

The room had almost everything I needed, it was clean and comfortable. Parking facilities were excellent - best I had in France.

Would like to have had WiFi Internet available, even if not free. Also the building work going on outside was noisy in the morning - not great if you're looking for a lie in!

Spacious, light appartment with comfortable beds.

Two small points: for a supposedly self-catering appartment there was a shortage of glasses and plates.And the internet connection was extremely slow.

We planned to stay a week but checked out after only two nights because of poor cleanliness and unpleasant location.

The rooms were well designed, equipped and fitted out.

The Hotel is situated in a commercial area away from the water

ridiculous not to have aircon in a modern hotelwas over 30C when we were there situated at back of industrial area

Although it's situated on a modern business park, the hotel is a short walk from the Old Port of La Rochelle, which was really interesting and beautiful at night.

This was the most expensive place we stayed on our trip, but probably due to the fact that it has a pool.

Only 10 minutes walk from the town centre and 5 to the marina. Good facilities (dishwasher, oven/microwave, hob, etc) but only 2 spoons, 2 knives and 2 forks, so no cooking utensils or even a bottle opener, which renders the kitchenette nearly useless in my opinion. It has free parking, which is great and in a quiet location.

Beds are short and very hard.
