The price, location, and staff. The laundry equipment. Rules need to be more explicit.

We liked that it had kitchen facilities although they were very basic facilities. It was clean and the staff were helpful. It was in a quiet location however it was a bit farther from the city centre than I realized. The bus and tram connections were good.

The facilities were clean and comfortable. The small kitchen meant you could make your own meals if necessary. We paid extra for breakfast which was good and varied. We had a 5th floor appartment so had views across to the countryside. The tram into the city passes nearby so access to the city was excellent. The location to the north of the city was ideal for access by road to the Normandy beaches which is what we were there to see. The car parking during the day was a problem due to the proximity of the university but there were plenty of spaces after 5pm. Access to the bathroom was through the bedroom so my father had to come through the bedroom at night to use the bathroom which ws not so convenient.

The kitchenette and the apartment facilities were great as well as the layout and space. We did have a 6 person apartment for three people though. Would recommend a token machine for the laundry facility and that all the equipment is in working order.

It was ideal as it was one of the few places able to accommodate a family of 5 including 3 young children in one room.

Room enough comfortable in space but it was not well cleaned because of carpet installed. It smelled not good and you don't have a possibility to use a vacuum cleaner because not available. Reception is open only in working day till 19:00 and if you need something you have to call at designed number. Position is a little bit out of city center range but close to the hospital. You have to clean kitchen and trash your garbage by yourself.

Comfortable and clean, very straightforward getting in, given that it was a sunday. Because it was a sunday, there were no staff available. It did feel a bit unsettling because of this; I would have preferred it if there were someone official present.

It was spacious and was good for family travel. The hotel was quiet and comfortable and it was good to have kitchen facilities instead of eating out. The kitchen is very basic, so cooking a meal is limited. It wasn't as clean as I like.

What I liked about Appart' City Caen is that everything was simple and sufficient. It was more like renting a flat than like staying at a hotel. The kitchen, small but well-equipped, was certainly very useful, and the room and the bathroom were spacious and clean. There is a food supermarket close by. All in all, it was a perfect base for day trips to the coast. A couple of teacups/mugs and an electric kettle would be a good addition to the kitchen, though I understand this is a lot to ask for in the coffee-dominated society. :)
