Close to tram A within 10-12 minutes of city center. Close to Carefour supermarket. Only one bin liner and one dishwasher supplied for a 5 night stay. When I was asked for another I was told I had to buy my own. Rooms are only cleaned before check-in. You have to pay for additional cleaning. |

I liked the central location even though it was a little hard to find at first. It was a nice size for a family of 6. It was hard to find because road names were not marked. Also, we were very lost and tried to call the number to let someone know we were running late. The number connected us to a central booking number and no one knew how to get in touch with anyone. Luckily, once we found the hotel another guest showed us how to access the safe that contained the key for the room. We would have been in serious trouble if that guest had not come along. |

They e-mailed me later and added extra charges for cleaning. We did not have any idea that we had to do our own cleaning. We had cleaned our room but did not have any idea that we had to do our own cleaning. |

The location was convenient to the locations we were visiting, so that was most important in our choice of accommodations. |

It was convenient to the bus and tram line. There was no real bed, it was a hide-a-bed. Not that they have to, but every other hotel lets you check in early, but they would not let us check in two hours early. You have to pay for extra towels and tp. I thought it was over priced for what you got. |

Good location Perhaps additional room keys - one per room means you need to all go back together |

It was pretty central to all of the D-Day activities. I thought there was a bed with an extra pull out couch. The couch was our bed and was horrible. We booked the room over three months ago, and because of the commemoration ceremonies there was little to no choice. It is more for business travelers. |

I liked the continental breakfast. I did not like the setup of the apartment we stayed in. For 4 adults it was not big enough and the bathroom was situated in the bedroom. Therefore, the couple that used the bedroom had to endure the other couple walking through the bedroom to the bathroom. In addition, the web information stated 'city center' and it was not within walking distance of any restaurants. |

This was a very nice room with all the ammenities and pretty inexpensive. The front desk closes at 7 pm, so if you arrive later than that without working it out ahead of time, then you are out of luck. |

The rooms were clean and tidy and provided adequate shower/bathroom facilites. They building was quiet, and handily situated near a Carrefour supermarket and mall. It provided a handy base from which to visit all the D-Day Beaches, sites and Bayeux, which was the object of our trip. The restaurants in the centre of Caen were a short drive away. We had three rooms, two of which were listed as having twin beds. They were, in fact, not two proper individual beds, but two mattresses pulled out from the sofa. One of the mattresses was simply laid out on the floor. The "twin" pull out beds in the double room apartment were the same. If there was another way of setting them up we were not aware of it. |

quiet - good shower - spacious room though a little cold at night lack of hotel staff on hand in early morning - 7am and mid evening 9-10pm - I do not like paying upfront for hotel rooms |

We had a pleasant stay at Appart City. The room was an efficiency type apartment and was clean. It was small by American standards but ok with the two of us. The one thing is when the write up said "pull out bed" it meant "pull out bed" from a sofa. The sofa bed was pretty comfortable for 2 nights but wouldn't want to have that for a week. |

Low price for the hotel and after staying there, I see the reason for that. NIce location. Not in the middle of the city but close enough to walk to a couple of eateries. I thought the main bedroom was a little small for me. With 8-10 inches at the end of the bed for walking to/from the bathroom, we ended up finding it easier to walk across the bed to get to the bathroom. During our stay the front desk was open once (that I saw) on Saturday morning. No breakfast service unless you reserved it before 1830 the night prior and there was no breakfast on Sunday. |

yes, I wanted to extend my stay but unfortunately when trying to do so over the phone, there was to option of english speaking, in which we elected. There was no one available to us and we had to go else where in caen for accomodation. |

Cheap. Clean. Free Parking. Internet access (though not free). Relatively close to the D-Day Memorial. Coffee pot (no filters) and small refrigerator (very small). Bathroom in the room. Very odd hours of reception desk--no help or information when it is closed. This is in reality a dorm room, not an apartment or suite as advertised. Couldn't really cook in the "kitchen", it was too small with no counter space at all. Wasn't twin beds but a trundle bed. No extra blanket so got cold. Hard to find--difficult to see sign from street. No flexibility in check in or check out times. |

The appartment was ideally located in Caen to sightsee the Normandy beaches and surrounding areas. The cost compared with other hotels was exceptionally good and the flexible, clean and well located accomodation a bonus for the very minimal cost. Also the hot water was pretty instant and plentiful, unlike other hotels in the past. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cutlery etc, the coffee cups were very small. While there is a hob, a small travel kettle may be an idea to save time boiling water in pans, but that is the only item required for a short stay. The internet did not appear to be working on my stay, which was not resolved, only a minor inconvenience on an otherwise exceptionally good value accomodation. |
