The ability to prepare a limited meal after being ripped off by the restaurants in La Rochelle. On arrival we were asked asked to pay the full amount up front. The pillows and mattress would only be suitable for camping. |

Spacious apartment, good and cheap wireless access Noisy, strange noises coming from boiler, bland and stark lighting, too far from centre, expensive for what it was - other hotels I found were cheaper and more central |

I chose the hotel as I wanted somewhere within easy reach of the railway station; I also wanted to have the freedom of self-catering accommodation. The hotel is satisfactory in both these respects. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I didn't feel entirely comfortable about the fact that there was no-one on duty after 7 p.m, or at anytime on Sundays. Had there been a problem, I would not have known who to contact. The hotel is described as providing 'grand confort', but I really don't think a sofa bed counts as such! |

It was very clean. Considering its good rate is was reasonably near the resort but one has to cross a dual carriageway in order to walk to the town. The bed wasn't very comfortable and I think it's unnecessary to use a fold up bed when it is never going to be folded away. Also it was positioned wrongly for viewing TV with no headboard behind!! But was reasonably priced. The Bed was awful |

Parking. The lack of services. I have not ticked "Cleanliness of your room", which was excellent because we cleaned it ourselves. The sofa-bed and pillows were particularly uncomfortable. |

We liked the quiet environment and the walking distance to the old port and market. The kitchen had no dishwasher, and no equipment to do the dishes by hand. The pillows were bad. |

That appartement is really nice and in style of classical marine town. really cool. nice town and silent coin. good price relationship. near to old parts of town ( a walk away) the view on a parking place in the neighborhood with plenty of mess and a chaotic disorder , obviously peoples without home place.. |

It is only a ten minute walk to the old port therefore very convenient Unfortunately our balcony overlooked the hospital landing pad for the helicopters and it could become quite noisy at times. Also it is in a commercial estate. |

Room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a good range of TV channels. Ten minute walk from the harbour, though a dark walk at night not recommended for women alone. Very difficult to find. No signs even on the building, let alone on the streets. No hot water for the shower. No information about clothes washing facilities. They asked me to sign an etat des lieux or inventory of the room equipment as if I was renting it for a month. This is an apartment building for long stays, and is not really adapted for tourism. Breakfast stops at 9. |

Within 10 minute walking distance of old historic port. Staff very helpful and friendly. Duplex was excellent value for money, clean and had facilities we needed (cot and high chair provided which was great as we had a 1 year old with us), this 2 star hotel was better than some 3 stars I have stayed in, in France. If there was a dishwasher would give an excellent rating for comfort. Nothing about the hotel itself. The environs can be noisy at times like most cities, when staying in a hotel close to city centre. |
