The serene, nice, quite and comfortable place where one can take time to live is Appart. I enjoyed staying there
Very convenient location, close to Part Dieu station and well placed for sight seeing. Nice duplex apartment on two levels with balcony to watch the world go by. Enjoyed it and would happily return.
A small (British) criticism- no kettle or toaster!
Noisy rails nearby
Very tiny and hot room. Even superior room is probably same size of normal room. No air-conditioner. Equipments are all old. Most of all, terrible sticky carpet! Never step on it with bare foot.
Good design & well equipped
No air conditioning
Location was good with bus at the door, and also close to Part-Dieu
close to the train station, easy to use and not too expensive, clean enough
equipements quite old and scruffy, not very cosy
Close to Part Dieu station.
My room was very warm, there was only one tolet paper. You can hear the train (very noisy) in the middle of the night.
Very close to commercial centre, sncf train station and airport express. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
My last stay was marred by other tenants smoking weed in the enclosed hallway and filling the rooms with odour.
Very helpful staff. Great value: €45/day room for two with equipped kitchenette (and given free upgrade to 2-room apartment, not so new, but better suited me and my son). Conveniently near main rail station. Onsite laundrette useful. Elevator OK.
Location closer to main sights would be better, but Lyon small enough not to matter much (even walking everywhere as we did). WiFi bit slow, but OK (6th floor).
Price, excellent staff
some decorations tired and scruffy. No breakfast Sundays
The price was great and it was easy to get too from the main railway station. I also liked having the kitchenette so we saved $ on eating out.
The floor and the bathroom were not very clean.
No clear signs Could not sleep because of the bad bed
The information given by phone from foreign country
Cheap, Easy to get to, Central location, Own fridge
Room not cleaned from one night to the other, although not really a problem, just a surprise. Sort of expected made bed and fresh towels.
Not much, maybe that they had an onsite parking lot.
First room only had a sofa bed! Carpet was dirty and old. Kitchen floor was dirty. Elevator was painfully slow. WiFi SLOW and then simply stopped. Smelly... I would think twice before booking here unless you are ready to slum it.
Great Internet and kitchenette. Fridge was a good size. It was very secure and quiet. Very good sound proofing. So close to the station. Great elevator to take luggage up to room.
Not enough toilet paper supplied. Staff weren't overly friendly and had to pay to keep my bags there before I caught my train out of lyon. I was really annoyed that I got asked to check out on my first day with a big knock on the door when I had booked in for 3 nights. I arrived when reception was closed but you would think it would be on record that someone was in the apartment.
rather clean and spacious room, well equipped kitchen area, having a refrigerator in the room good territorial location
previously we have refined through booking.com the opportunity and terms of checking in a bit earlier - at 11.00 (instead of 14.00), a hotel employee answered that it will be possible and free of charge and confirmed it in the printout of our reservation. but when we arrived at the site, the front desk manager said that the hotel employee made a mistake and we should to pay additional 20 euros for early checking in or wait up to 14.00 for thee hours! while she was completely ungracious and did not even apologize!! we had to pay this money, for not to wait, although the room was already free and prepared a long time. it was very frustrating!
Clean and big bathroom.
Bed was small. Constant noise coming from water pipes/gyser.
Awful tatty room with stained carpet awful stretcher bed. No air conditioning or anything in any way comfortable or luxurious
Located close to the main railway station, easy to find, calm and quiet, fridge and microwave owen in the room.
We booked a room for 4 people and it was very cosy and nice. We had a balcony which was supernice! It was clean. It was a convenient location since is 5 min walking from the main train station and it is very well connected (a lot of bus and tram lines near by). There is a big shopping centre close by with a big Carrefour but forget to get a beer in the night: there are only few pub (at the station) which are ugly, close early and super expensive!
The cooling system was old and not really effective but it was not a problem because the temperature was fine with windows kept open (first half of september). The second bed is on the second floor but there is no door to separate it from downstairs. The kitchen was not that impressive and the stuff was quit old (e.g. not a good knife to cut salami!!!).
I cannot recommend anything about this accomdation - I would advise you to look elsewhere
As I was arriving after their reception had closed I was supposed to be sent a text with details on how to access their safe. No text was sent and I had to spend my first night in their foyer. The room itself was basic and the carpet was not clean. The room did not have air conditioning or even a fan. As the temperature rarely went below 25C, it was very uncomfortable when trying to sleep
Very close to station, easy check-in even after office hours, all provided what is needed
the AC tend to be noisy
