    nothing that comes to mind

even though we were on time, there was nobody at the reception to give us the key. along with us, other travelers tried to get in touch with a representative of the hotel in order to receive the key, but no one answered the number they provided. we all received our keys from another guest of the hotel who had the code of the safe (we did not receive any code), but no room number was written on any of the keys. we all had to try all the doors from 3 floors to see where our key fit, embarrassing. the windows have an extra safe glass window in front so when somebody would cook all the rooms could smell it.

Having the kitchenette saved us money on meals Comfortable bed Quiet

Toilet door right beside kitchen facilities Difficult to find parking on the street outside No reception staff after 8 pm, so we had to ask another guest to phone for us (as I didn't have network coverage in France)

Cheap room, good value and location IF there would have been aircon

    - very hot room, sleeping was only possible with windows opened but then there was noise from freeway and neighbors and smoke from neighbors smoking from the window - a little basic - booking was confirmed but room appeared to be unavailable and reception closed. - interior basic (outside looks better than inside)

Good Location Plenty of room Separate bathroom Underground car park at reasonable price

Disinterested staff - main response to requests was 'no'. Dishes were filthy, as was cutlery, and lots of dust on ledges of sofa and TV table. When I mentioned this at reception I was told 'Its not my problem' Wifi not working. 3 bath towels for 4 of us for 5 days. Hand towels had to be used to mop up floor in bathroom from leaking shower.

The kitchen facilities were handy and very useful. The quality for the price is very good.

They lie about the Wi-Fi connection. They have cable connection in the rooms, the Wi-Fi converters are paid.

    - according to booking confirmation reception would be open till 23.00, was actually only open till 20.00. - No email received with safe access & room information. - very little information at hotel, and was all in French language only. - only possibility to get key from safe was to call a french number & wait on the line 10 minutes, causing high phone costs. Person on phone spoke little english. - rooms smelt extremely of smoke, bedding was clean but smelled very musty, one bedroom smelt strongly of urine! - Plastic mattress cover was not pleasant. - In one room only one towell, in another only two, although the booking was for seven people. - no fire escape information in room. - other families arriving after hours had similar difficulties. - Receptionist in the morning could only shrug shoulders at the complaints.

    The secure parking

No staff on site whilst we were there, no air conditioning or even a fan. Hated the shared balcony and walls paper thin, so noisy neighbours kept us up most of the night.

Clean and tidy. Good to have own cooking facilities. Long beds.

Stayed in summer, so it was a hot room with a very hot bathroom. Narrow beds.

The room was dirty and the door of the shower was broken so there was water all over the bathroom floor

Good-sized apartment. Very handy to have a kitchenette when you have young children. Large bathroom.

We arrived on one of the hottest days of the year (!) and the apartment was baking hot. There was no air conditioning, and we couldn't open the doors or windows as we were on the ground floor, so night-times were very uncomfortable. Also, we happened to be very lucky when we arrived as we saw a sign to the apartments on our arrival in Lille. Otherwise, we would have struggled to find it as the Reception at Appart-City hadn't provided us with directions despite emailing them several times.

Clean basic accommodation that was good value for money. Would not wish to stay more than a couple of nights as room would be too claustrophobic. Staff helpful when we did not arrive within reception hours due to travel delays, Secure underground parking good value (Around 5 euros)

    Nothing to report

Bag storage facility after we checked out. Close to metro.

Limited kitchen utencils. Shower was not sealing properly, resulting in wet bathmats and floor. No windows to open at night only communial patio doors.

I could leave after one night.

Terrible! The bathroom was a collection of mould and rust, the shower spilled more water on the floor then on me. The room was steaming hot because of all the glass, and you could not open any window. Carpets were filthy. Staff is very unfriendly. I had to pay to store my luggage.

We liked the fact we had the facilities to prepare food and drinks for our selves.

Our accomodatiib did quite match up to the photos on the site. Could do with some updating.

The shower was extremely good and the apartment was very clean. It was good value for money.

I hated the view of the foliage and the perspex cladding on the back of the building that is there to screen you from motorway noise and the television didn't work. However this isn't a complaint. For the money I paid, it was very good value.

The bedroom was nice! Location - very close to subway station, walking distance to city centre aprox 0.5 h! Price/quality OK!

We arrived after 21:00 and nobody was in the reception! We called a number displayed on the hotel door and they came after 20 min and bring the keys! The bathroom is old! No hair dryer! No Wi-Fi (too poor to connect) in the room - only in the reception was good!

Big bed, all necessities in place. Good value for money

No window- only an openable door to a balcony shared with other guests which I couldn't open at night so no access to fresh air. Terrible in the summer. Also, the floor was not hoovered

The hotel was relatively close to the conference center

Where to start? I'll go chronologically. The reception, which was supposed to have been open at the time I arrived (early afternoon), was in fact closed (this was not in any way mentioned when we made our reservations), forcing me to wait for an hour and a half outside the building for it to open. Almost an hour later, when they had finally gotten through admitting the less than 10 guests in front of me in line (who had been waiting like me), I went up to the room I had received the key to, only to discover that it was not yet ready. I had to go back and ask for another. The room I eventually ended up in was not particularly clean. Its window was on a side of the hotel which faces a highway access ramp, a busy road. Accordingly, that side is protected by a transparent screen, which while doing a good job of insulating the noise, also traps all smells inside, in particular those from the kitchen, and conveys them into the rooms. INTERNET ACCESS: When we made our reservations, the hotel advertised it offered WIRED (not wireless) internet in the rooms at no additional charge. When we arrived, due to a change of policy after we reserved, we were charged for the internet after all. Even though the charge was not high (only 5 EUR per person), it took 2 days and a consultation with the manager to receive a refund. MUCH WORSE is the fact that the internet did not always work, and during the entire last evening of our stay did not work at all. There was no wireless to speak of. The fact that they charge for this low level of service is frankly outrageous. The room was generally stifling hot. The morning after the first night, my roommate (who had joined me after my arrival) and I discovered a panel to control the air conditioning system, which was however only marked in French. When we asked the girl at reception what the markings meant and how to turn off the heating, the only response we got was "you don't touch this".

Cost was lower than hotels in Lille.

It was hard to find, hidden away behind other apartments and what seemed to be a business area.
