City Résidence Aix-en-Provence  

The area where the property is, makes it ideal to visit the city of Aix en Pronvence,close to the centre yet quite to relax form the its busy life.Parking no problem!!!

We arrived late about 23.00 hrs and tired as we were we had to make several phone calls to get the safe box number for the door key!!!

This aprtment was moderately priced.

The apartments are poorly appointed and some distance from the main attractions of Aix-en-Provence

The residence is cheap and well positioned at just 5 minutes by car from the city center. The area is very quiet, with no disturbing noises at night. The kitchen is small but fully equipped. The furniture is simple but comfortable. We could comfortably stay there with a 1 year old baby and there was room for the (very old yet clean) crib they have provided for the night.

The room was acceptable but not very clean: the real basics such as sheets, wc and shower were ok but you could spot here and there some old stains on the floor and on the washbasin. The residence is quite old and needs some renovation. For the same price I have stayed in much cleaner and modern hotels in the nearbies.

This hotel is a total failure. We arrived on sunday afternoon and, albeit the booking confirmation said the reception should have been open, it wasn'T. We had to call a number for obtaining a code of a safe where the room key was stored. The answer machine was only in french. The forniture of the apartment was just the half of what it should have been (2 dishes instead of 4 and so on). The volume of the tv didn't work and it has not been fixed (even if we asked so). The courtains were ripped. The WiFi costs 70 euro per week. There is no public parking at all. But the worst thing is that they make up the room only after 1 week!!! They do not change any tovel if you stay less than 7 days. There isn't a broom or anything for cleaning the room by ourself. One suggestion: stay away from this hotel.

We were very dissapointed. Keep looking for another hotel or change your plans !! Horrible !!!! depressing ! couldnt wait to leave!!!! Dirty room, the parking is not in that facitly and is like an abandon building. Don’t go there !!!!!!

Extremely dirty room. All plates and glasses were dirty.

The reception personnel was very kind and helpful, as described by other reviewers. The bed in the double room was super-comfortable. Decent distance from the city center (10-15 minutes walk starting with a beautiful view of the hills all around, or 5 minutes with the bus).

Curtains, bed linen and rugs were stained; stove not working, so you couldn't really cook anything and everything else was a bit spartan (no coffee machine, no can for heating water etc.)... In terms of price/quality, I'd give it a 7.5 as most other reviewers did.

We enjoyed the conveniences of this apartment. It was spacious and had a refrigerator, microwave, two hotplates, and dishwasher. The one staff member on duty was excellent, helpful and friendly, but she was overworked.

Although we requested a nonsmoking room, the room smelled of cigarettes. Also when we arrived the TV was not working. It was fixed by the second day of our stay.

Great excursions out of the city, I.E., lavender fields, Picasso's castle, Cezanne's home nearby, great markets both in the city and out, many events and activities in the city.

Very comfortable hotel.It has kitchen in the room with all that you need,very pleasant view from the window,beautiful nature around and its very silent region.After 20.00 o clock there were no people in the street near the hotel.I liked hotel staff,smiling,careening...

Full cooking facilities, nice room. Lady at reception was really welcoming and informative.

Had trouble finding it when we first arrived. Pillows were really uncomfortable.
