Very friendly and helpful staff, clear instructions how to enter the building after reception closing hours. The apartment is simply decorated but with everything needed. If you have a room in the front, the view into the museum is very beautiful. The Jarden des Plantes opposite, is a great park. The location is close to the St. Germain Quarter, close to Ile de Louis and 500 meters to the South there is a whole area with beautiful food shops and restaurants. The price/quality is superb. Noise levels are good but there is some traffic noise if the window is open.

This hotel is very welcoming and convenient for the train station, although the hotel is set in a very busy part of Paris, I find it very quiet and relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay at Les Jardins du Roy. We were impressed with the courtesy of the young man and the lovely woman who worked the desk. They both spoke english and were very attentive. They arranged for an airport shuttle on our day of departure. The location is only a half block from the Gare D'Austerlitz station and there is a McDonalds on the corner for that early morning cafe. Thank you!

Great hotel, in a perfect location for exploring the main sights and the river. Great bars around the corner, and the metro station across the road. For more lively bars and restaurants just walk down to Bastille, which is a 10 minute walk but has loads on places on route. The staff were friendly and spoke perfect English, which made checking in and finding information very easy. The rooms are nice, well equipped, and of a good size. Only very minor things, the lift takes forever, and the views from the rooms aren't brilliant, but these should not put you off. Overall this is a great place to stay and we will have no hesitation in booking here when we come back.

I did not like the hotel at all: first the reception is the poorest I have ever seen in a supposed to be residence / serviced appartment, I was not welcome and did get any greeting or hello. The room was freezing cold with 2 single bed put beside each other and labelled as a Queen bed, no view except for the windows of the neighboors, the room was far from looking like the pictures they have on the hotel page. We asked to change the room but a it was 9am and that we just had 16 hour flight we were not allowed to take a shower in the roo while waiting for the other room to be freed. No need to mention that you hear even the thoughts of your neighboors and that the lights in the corridor are difficult to find and not bright at all while the lift is far from being efficient. I wold rather sleep in a backpacker place than in this residence.

It was an excellent location and very quiet. Shops, cafes nearby & you can stroll round the Latin Quarter. Right next to the Jardin des Plalntes - lovely park area and a few minutes to the Seine about 20 mins walk along the river brings you to Notre Dame. There is a locked room where you can leave luggage if you arrive before check in and again when you leave. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again on a future visit to Paris.

It was right beside Les Jardins des Plantes, a lovely park with interesting museums and gardens. The location was handy to the train station (one Metro stop from Gard d'Nord where we arrived on the Eurostar) and also handy to the hop-on, hop-off boat service on the river. It was possible to walk along the river to The Eiffel Tower, stopping in at Notre Dame and Le Louvre. We also walked to the Pantheon and Les Jardins des Luxembourg. There were two small supermarkets within a block of the apartment and plenty of choice for local eating places nearby. It would have been handy to have a toaster in our room as most English people have toast for breakfast.

This accommodation was perfect for our family holiday. The location was just close to the rer and Metro (Gare d'Austerlitz). The accommodation includes very good cooking facilities, laundry facilities - just perfect for a budget-conscious family, a convenience grocery store close by, a McDonalds just around the corner and a row of reasonably-priced restaurants for dining out occasionally. There's also a great view of the Natural Museum History across our balcony! The lady at the front desk was so friendly and helped us out with many of our touristy questions. She even helped me interpret the French instructions written on a medicine bottle to English!

Our room was freshly painted, immaculate, very comfortable, and a tremendous value for the price. The kitchenette was wonderful and gave us a chance to save some money in Paris by cooking several of our own meals. The location, near the Austerlitz station, gave us easy access by metro or train to everywhere we wanted to go. (Also nearby is a Monoprix, with amazing produce, for grocery shopping, and the McDonald's at the corner offers free wifi. All you have to do is stand outside a window at McD's to send and receive e-mail on an iPad or similar device.) Near the hotel we enjoyed walking along the Seine, in the Jardin des Plantes, and down the street around the corner. We appreciated having an elevator to our second-floor room. The manager, Delphine, was very gracious and helpful, and the desk clerk Enzo was also friendly. It is slightly inconvenient that the front desk is closed from 1 to 4, but we were given a code to get in so it really wasn't a problem. You do have to be careful not to lose or forget the code. The hallway was dark, but that was fine with us for energy-saving reasons. One problem was that the shower didn't work, so we had to take baths in the tub.

Kitchen, although microwave did not work Bathroom (big) The staff was not helpfull enough. The receptionist could simply to find some information for us but instead he said that he was not obliged to do anything for us. It was rather rude. Also there were some hairs in the bathroom when we arrived. And the third thing - our floor was under repair during our stay. So the smell was terrible but we could not open the window as the hotel was almost on the noisy crossroad plus there were mosquitoes.

Self contained and close to station. English stations on T.V. bbc & cnn. Dark room, very old furniture, table very wobbly and unstable had to put cardboard under it's legs. O.k for a couple. Not good value for solo traveller.

The location was amazing. It is not the biggest room but it feels a lot bigger than it actually is and is an extremely usable space. The staff is very helpful and very fluent in English. We are defiantly staying here again when we come back to Paris. If you are looking to walk to Notre Dame or the Louvre, it is about 15- 20 minutes, but it is a very pleasant walk.

It was clean compare to other hotels. Safe area, not crazy busy like all the other touristy hotels. Good transit location about, three minutes away from rer Line C. Two other Metro lines in same station. MacDonalds literally 50m away, good cheap eats and free wifi, they open 8am- midnight. Supermarket Monop around the corner too you can buy water and sandwiches for day trips or snacks. Room has a great shower, lots of hot water, towel warmer bar hanger, lots of shelves to put stuff on, fully equipped kitchen and cold fridge was a plus for us. Bedding was stiff but not as hard as ppl say. Covers are a white sheet and orange grandma blanket, rm is warm enough we didn't use orange one that much. Can't keep windows open too many misiquitos, killed one dozen our first day there, it will be stuffy no air-con. We did catch the RER into the city it took us 1hr 20mins, got in a rush hour 5:40pm lots of locals getting off work, not recommended. It was a headache, cause of cramping suitcases in with lots of ppl and jetlagged from Canada. We caught a shuttle leaving the hotel for €17 euros to prevent the same problem, train back was €9.10 anyways.
