Appartement Butte Montmartre

The price, the location and the fact that I had everything I needed in the appartment.

On the third day a man came knocking on the door very loud asking to see a meter inside of the appartment. I am not used to open the door to strangers and specially not to those banging on the door when I am asleep. Also, somebody in the upstairs floor made it impossible to sleep at night for two nights in a row. he/she kept having loud and drunken people over that would climb up and down the stairs and talk and laugh really loud.

Area it was in. relatively clean. Ok for one night but no more.

Wasn't resourced very well. Poor kitchen implements no coffee jug/perculator or tea pot etc,No pan lids.. The very very small kitchen. No noticeable numbers on doors. Some-one tried to open ours in the middle of the night by mistake.

The location was great.

The apartment was tiny. There was only enough hot water for one person to shower. The kitchen facilities were poor. The bunkbeds were uncomfortable and very squeaky. Half the lights were not working. Furniture and a microwave had been dumped outside our door and there were a sanitary towel outside the bathroom window. Internet? What Internet?!!! It just didnt work! The staff at the hotel were not at all helpful and said they just look after the keys and it wasn't their problem!

The apartment itself was ok, not too big, but well furnished, with all the basic equipment (ikea). Also surrounding (near Moulin Rouge, close to Sacre-Coeur) was fine. The atmosphere of this quarter of Paris is just great.

We didn’t get the apartment that we booked (not the one on the pictures on booking.com). The location of the apartment was very poor. It was located on the ground floor with the windows facing very internal small courtyard. Therefore the apartment was dark and there were unpleasant smell.

The apartment was only a block away from a very lively section of town and extremely close to Sacre Coeur.

The apartment was newly-renovated, but done cheaply. Handles would pull off the drawers, the shower would drain very slowly, and the room was not level, but the price was good and it did have its own kitchenette, which was very economical. Would not recommend for extended stay, but a night or two might not be too bad. We stayed for 7 nights.

The appartment was not available due to an unexplained 'problem' however we were relocated in a hotel 2 min away which was lovely ( hotel des arts) and they applied the same price. Did not get the chance to actually see the appartment.

Staff parla solo francese, per il check-in bisogna andare in un altro hotel a 5 min a piedei, non indicato sul sito. Non rispondono alle mail.

L'emplacement, le prix et la tranquilité.

La qualité du lit était médiocre. À changer SVP!

It´s calm and in the summer it doesn´ t get hot in the apartment. It´s absolutely got located (5 Min to the Sacre coeur)!!

The apartment is really small, one chair was not usable, cause broken... Unluckily the coffeemaschine and the toaster were still - full of mould and smelling of mould! That was absolutely uncomfortable! They were put in one of the cupboards in the kitchen and although i asked to exchange them, nothing happened. The stuff in the kitchen is not sufficient for cooking. Pay a bit more and find another place! The women in the hotel were really friendly!

Pessima la pulizia delle camere e bagno. Capelli nella doccia intasata. Personale inadeguato che non ha provveduto a risolvere I problemi emersi.

L'appartement est très bien situé. Les lits étaient propres.

Nous n'avons pas eu un bon service. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, nous nous sommes apperçu que le grille pain et la cafetière étaient pourris (complètement), donc inutilisables. De plus, le drain de la douche était complètement bouché et la pôle de douche cassée. Nous avons mentionné ces éléments au propriétaire qui n'a rien fait pour corriger la situation, même si nous avions payé pour des éléments qui étaient inscrits dans l'annonce et auxquels nous n'avons pas eu droit. Finalement, l'endroit était sale à notre arrivé. Nous avons dû faire la vaisselle et disposer des vieux linges remlis de poils qui avaient été laissés dans l'appartement. La fenêtre de l'appartement donne sur les poubelles du building. Ainsi, il y a des mauvaises odeurs à certains moments.

Le coin douche beaucoup trop petit

The studio is well situated, in a quiet courtyard: even with an open window, we could sleep peacefully. It was summertime while we were there, but the studio was cool despite the absence of air-conditioning. The location is fantastic (trendy side of Montmartre), and it was reasonably clean. The kitchen-bloc was basic but suitably furnished for simple meals. It was easy to collect and deposit the keys at the reception of a nearby hotel.

The isolation from the staircase/main door is poor: you hear everything when someone walks up/down the stairs. It didn't bother us, though, as the occupants of the building (private residents) were quiet. A lot of little details were annoying: no shelves and very few hooks in the very small bathroom, furniture that had been hastily built up (shelf and small furnitures askew, etc.). With a little care in the finishing, the studio would be much more cosy. We also discovered the coffee-machine had not been cleaned after previous users and was completely moldy... All in all, we found it a bit overpriced for what it is... although the location and the pleasure of making our own breakfast with fresh croissants from the nearby bakeries made up for these little drawbacks!
