Nice place! Near of city center and metro stations.
great location, safe and fairly quiet hotel.
bathroom was tiny.
Its a very convenient location, very helpful staff, the room was clean and the street quiet.
Very hot and dry in winter. Had to open windows. Didnt complain though as we didnt stay long. I would also change mattresses, seem old and non best comfort to sleep.
The personel were kind. The Toilet and bathroom were good enough. the room was big enough without tv.
The room's odor: Every evening some foods were cooked by hotel personnel or others were smelled very bad, the smell made it difficult to sleep. The open window help to clean the odor took about 3-4 hours, on the other hand the personel were good, but room's odor was very bad.
The only good thing about this hotel is that it's located two blocks away from Montorgueil street and you can walk todo the Louvre (10 minutes walk).
In Europe everything shuts down from 2pm to 4pm, so dotes this hotel; the only houskeeping service they have is making the beds, but they won't change the sheets nor towels! I guess that's why we got bitten by bugs. The bathroom is rally small, and the shower was broken, then the clerk went todo tell us that we weren't using the shower courtain properly, bit after checking, they realized it was a leack. They don't hace tv nor iPhone and internet access gets disconnected every 2 minutes. Be careful while using the stairs, it seems that the building is about todo go down.
Location is good and convenient with metro nearby, tourist areas within walking distances. There is also easy access to food. Many drinking spots nearby.
The area for shower is slightly small. Expectations needs to be set right for the amount that is being paid.
Amazingly quiet, clean so far, matress ok. Very close to Louvre, Notre Dame etc.
Room located in 6th floor, only accessible via terribly worn out stairs. Hotel located beside peep show and other establishments. Tiny, mouldy bath, paint peeling off from windows.
Excellent beds Very friendly staff Rather big room
Small bedroom Noise from the other bathrooms No television
The hotel was in an excellent location for getting around with plenty of bars and eating places and very reasonably priced.
No lift which meant a climb of 85 steps to the 4th floor. The bathroom was very small. No wardrobe. It was quite noisy, especially in the morning with the road cleaners and refuse collectors. You get what you pay for so if you just want a place to sleep and shower then go for it providing you can cope with the stairs.
Good value accommodation, if you're looking for a clean place to get your head down and you're not bothered about the neighbours this is it.
A lot of steps to the room, and the location is a bit sleazy but it is safe.
It's cheap but you definitely get what you pay for
True Parisian style in that the receptionist when we arrived must have been paid extra to be rude. Also on every corner there appears to be prostitutes hanging around, and they don't try to hide it!!! That topped with sex shops and live shows around meant Paris wasn't quite as romantic as we had pictured
Position was very good.Beds were comfy, staff were friendly.Good value if you don't mind a bit of musty smell.Would recommend for sleeping purposes only
Room smelled a bit
It was impossible to get any sleep, the noise from the streets below until 5 am in the morning was very loud, people screaming and yelling was deafening, the heat in the room was unbearable, no Fans or Air conditioning. I could sit on the toilet and clean my teeth, that's how close the basin was.
Value for money, especially the location, is fair. It's near Pompidou and it is quite close to very nice place in Pairs, marais disctric.
Wifi in the hotel room is not actively work.
We like that it is close to asian food restaurants and to centre pompodou.the room was clean despite being old.
The room qas on 5 th floor , it was very small there was no room for movement and the hostel is very old and in need of renovtion. Shower ia was minute
You get what you pay for. Central location in run down neighborhood. Good access to Metro. Recommend for young people on a budget, or the adventurous. A place to sleep.
Some sketchy characters about but plenty of tourists. We felt safe. Very noisy.
Good value for money, I'm not fussy, I only meed a bed to sleep and a place to keep my stuff and shower. Had it all here, close to metro too, located in zone 1
Wifi only downstairs
The hotel is right bang in the central part of Paris. Etienne-Marcel Metro is a few minutes away. Les Halles is few more minutes away. Very walkable to Ile de France and Montmartre - to practically anywhere, really (apart from the Eiffel Tower)! Very quiet room even though it's on a busy street - maybe we got a good room facing away from the streets.
A double room is a little cramped but that is usual for any budget hotels in the central part of Paris. Note you have to lug your luggage up a flight of stairs to the reception if the lift doesn't work.
View from room, layout of room, very traditional Parisian
Stairs a little scary, make sure you get an ensuite room (shared bathrooms are not good)!
Tiny hotel in the center of Paris, at a walk-distance from the Notre Dame Cathedral. The rooms are small, but comfortable. Generally fair enough, relatively to the price they ask.
location quite place
like after world war 2
Room was clean and convenient to subway.
Neighborhood. Next door to a peep show. One block up the street felt unsafe in late afternoon - prostitutes open ly doing business on street.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and spoke very good English. The room was clean, bright, decent sized and had an en-suite bathroom. It's a fairly central city location, so don't need to use the metro too much. Perfect for a short stay if you're on a limited budget.
The hotel doesn't have a lift and the staircase is quite narrow and tired-looking, it completely put me off when I walked in. Not great for taking heavy luggage up a few floors. The entrance is just a doorway squeezed between a shop front and another entrance. I initially walked straight past it. The area isn't the nicest, rather red-light looking.
