Looks a bit rubbish from outside but what a great little place with lovely owners, very clean and tidy, good shower, nice breakfast for just 6 euros too! I'd prefer a duvet on the bed!

The commitment of the staff to accommodate us, including moving their van to help us park, was very good. The location close to the harbour and beach was pretty good. Good breakfast. Lack of AC was potentially a problem. Room was bit cramped and orange themed decoration not to our taste. Traffic noise - but we did ask for a sea view!

What a fantastic location. 20 paces & you are on an enormous clean sandy beach. The staff were so kind, polite & helpful. The hotel was very shabby but with great charm. The road was a bit noisy but we did ask for a sea view.

Good value for money, welcoming and helpful staff, good bespoke breakfast ordered on arrival, accommodating of an early start at 7 am. Great position on the front and beach and only 5 minutes cycle for the cross estuary ferry. The hotel appeared a little 'tired' and in need of a revamp - a touch of the '60s or 70s' about it, but clean and with a good bed,shower and heating - needed in 2012 in late May!

The location of the hotel was very convenient for us and the views from our room were superb. We were particularly impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We would happily stay there again. I have no adverse comments to make about the hotel
