Staff really friendly, clean and close to metro and bus.
Small fridge in room would be nice but not a big issue.
Nice location Pretty quiet inside Room is small but clean
The receptionist at the front desk on Thursday morning Dec. 11 ordered us an unregistered taxi service illegally which attempted to overcharge us on the fair by 20 eur. We discovered this while checking fairs online while inside the transportation. The driver then demanded we pay him 20 eur even though we had only traveled in the car for maybe 3 minutes. We did not feel safe inside the car and it was a very unpleasant experience. You cannot trust the employee(s) in this hotel.
Very nice and quite hotel, not so expensive.
In zone are to much indians
Hotel was clean modern good location
The hotel was located conveniently near the Gare Du Nord which was why we booked her as we were arriving late at night. The room was a nice comfortable size
The policy of leaving your room key when leaving the hotel was a bit odd. It wasn't really explained why we had to do that and made me a bit conscious of security. Reading the reviews on the area we expected it to feel a bit dodgy but even though we live in London we did feel quite an easy in the evenings. i am glad that there was two of us as i wouldn't want to walk around that area by myself at night. Instead of having fresh towels in the room i found one day that the towels we had used that morning and left hanging up had been just folded up and put back meaning our towels were damp the next morning.
The breakfast and friendliness
First level street noise
The location is good , close to metro . Even the breakfast was okay , lots of choices , good coffee , ...
The staff is average . One of the staff (jung guy in front desk) is very unfriendly , he never says hello , afrer we checked -out, he did't say than you for staying or he wished luck . Cleaning lady was nice , but not very precisios . The room was full of hair after cleaning, but always enough toilet paper and fresh daily towels . The rooms are very small but nicely decorated . Advertise that the rooms are sound- isolating but this is not true . On the second floor you can hear a conversation between rooms when someone from the upper floors showers or flash toilets, it is so noisy that you can not sleep or you wake up ,the sounds from the street/ traffic is onall night. I recomend you choose other hotel.
Lovely little bolt hole near the Eurostar station that was perfect for a weekend in Paris. We just wanted a nice room with a cosy bed where we could rest, we were out all day exploring!
There was a tiny stain on the bed runner and tiny mould in the bathroom, on the ceiling, but the room was decorated to a really high standard, beautiful lights and the feature wall was all lovely. I imagine mould is a problem in all of those old buildings in Paris so really not a big issue for us.
We have travelled to Paris a few times this year. With the location of Midnight Paris it was perfect for us to be able to walk straight from the station of Paris Nord only a few minutes away and it is in a ideal location to be able to walk almost anywhere! Cleanliness of the room was wonderful and the staff looked after us quite well. Overall a pleasant stay.
The room itself is small with very little space for luggage. The elevator is also tiny so one at a time with luggage but otherwise nothing else.
Location was brilliant felt like the real Paris with real people. Had the first authentic curry after living in France for 10 years. Will stay here again.
Not sure I would stay in this area if I was a solo femail traveller.
Good location, nice and clean room, wifi to all hotel.
Expensive and not included breakfast
We booked a room with an advertised king sized bed but initially got a room with a queen bed. When we complained we were told the bed was king but eventually it was acknowledged the bed was queen and somehow there had been a mistake on the website. We were then upgraded to a room with a king bed but we needed to stick to our guns not to be roughshod. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The staff were efficient but unfriendly and from the moment we arrived we felt a nuisance rather than a welcome guest.
Unfriendly establishment. The shower was very small and you couldn't stand without touching the sides, no soap holder etc, however it was clean and modern and the shower pressure was good. Also the rooms are extremely small and cramped. Very dodgy area but very convenient to Gare de Nord and Gare l'Est if you need to catch early trains.
Very convenient for the train station even though it s not the nicest area ever..Cozy hotel, confortable bed, good shower, good wifi, but in picture much better than reality.
Poor amenities (for 2 people one shower gel and one shampoo), small and cheap towels, small room, no even a small bottle of water in the room and I asked for a toothbrush I forgot and they told me to buy it at the pharmacy..
Surprisingly good hotel in a sketchy area. Nice staff, excellent new linen and towels, great wifi reception. A real surprise
Staff were friendly and upgraded us which was a nice suprise. Also allowed us to have a later check out and leave our luggage at the hotel on our last day until we had to leave. Very close to the station, approx 3-4 minute walk. Room was lovely and very clean- good value for money
The road that the hotel is located on is busy and quite a lot of gangs seemed to be hanging around outside- quite intimidating!
Dont be put off by the busy surrounding area, once inside you will find the reception area very quiet and welcoming, Liked the friendly staff. Liked the quietness of room. Liked the area being not even 5 minutes walk from main train station. Liked the quirkyness of the inside and passageways to rooms (they are on varying levels with steps).
Tight elevator, so if you have a large suitcase best to go in 1 by 1 (although as its pettite you are closer to your loved one for a wee smoocheroo).
Staff always more than courteous and went out of their way to assist. Wide variety of cafes and eateries around the Hotel. Within walking distance to all major tourist attractions (if you are a walker like is) We will return for a longer vacation next time :)
The Lift was very small making it difficult to get large bags to the booked room. Okay if you don't mind making two trips instead of one :) Not really a problem though - just an observation.
LARGE rooms- great bathroom- included hairdryer. CLEAN. Very nice- great value for the money in Paris so close to Gare du Nord.
Busy dirty city street... hotel looks like a "hole in the wall" at first glance. However front door is locked at night and rooms turned out to be fantastic. Easy walk from the train station even with luggage.
The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff very nice..
Not sure the breakfast was worth €13 each per morning the juice ran out and the cereal milk was not cold
Location is convenient travel-wise, easy connections by metro and trains, but the surroundings are bit scary
Room was excellent hotel position for metro/trains ideal for sightseeing
Breakfast, quietness, friendly staff, room and bathroom well equipped, location.
no complaint !
On arrival the hotel was exactly as pictured. The staff were always friendly and really helpful. We were offered free access to the wifi and although we arrived early, our room was ready so we checked in with no delay. The room was spacious and modern by Parisian standards. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing! The location was an excellent starting point to explore Paris by Metro. I would definitely stay here again.
As other guests mentioned, internal soundproofing would not be of the highest standard! However we were very happy and would not hold this against the hotel.
Small room and small bathroom ( had the executive suite and for the price payed it was rather small , not an option for claustrophobics!!!) lol
