Very close to the historic centre of Chambery. Good continental breakfast. The receptionist on dutty in the evening professed not to know the directions from the hotel to the historic centre. When we eventually found it on our own it turned out to be no more than 10 minutes walk away! |

Good sized,clean room ideal for 1/2 night stay.Staff friendly and efficient but not intrusive.Ideal location for centre of the town,everything being within walking distance.Very convenient for the bus and train station,both being just along the road,although again niether being intrusive.If no one mentions it,ask about the free public carpark which is a five minute walk away. |

The breakfast buffet was tasty and very generous within the French style. The personnel were very friendly & helpful. The free Wifi worked fine. The location near the train station is convenient to public transportation and to the center of the city, at least for those who are reasonably comfortable walking. Minor disappointments only. The room was a bit dreary, with bare walls, mediocre lighting, institutional furnishings, and solid but rough finishing of walls and bath. It was all very clean, though. I unplugged the TV to recharge my computer in the sole outlet. |

I found the staff in particular very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, and the view from the room's balcony of the surrounding mountains was fantastic. It is also very close to the train station, which was a bonus. |

We stayed 20 nights at this hotel during October and November and we felt very comfortable there. The owner of the hotel is a lovely woman who helped us with our travel arrangements while staying in Chambery and she even made an appointment with her hairdresser so that I could get a haircut. The hotel is ideally located near the train station and is very quiet and clean. |

J'ai apprécié d'être près de la gare, dans le centre-ville, près des services, restaurants, lieux de stage .L'accueil des différents personnels était très sympathique. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans une salle agréable. Tout le monde était très serviable.J'y retournerai avec plaisir. |

Rein qui ne le sorte du lot, mais l'ensemble oscille entre moyen et bien, le rapport qualité prix reste donc à peu près acceptable. Si vous souhaitez bénéficier d’une place de parking, ayez soin d’appeler et de rappeler jusqu’à ce que vous obteniez le gérant, afin qu’il le note « manuscrit militari » sur son cahier d’écolier. J’ai pris soin d’appeler après ma réservation via internet pour m’assurer que la place dont j’avais impérativement besoin (véhicule restant chargé durant la nuit). Et bien la réservation notée sur le service intranet de l’hotel est tout bonnement passée à la trappe tant le gérant est allergique à l’informatique. Le plus dommage est que je me suis presque senti coupable de cette situation. |
