This hotel did not provide any kettle , I had asked for the boiling water during 5.00 am in the morning. But the officer refuse to provide me any boiling water and told me to come back in 7.00 am I try to ask for boiling water again, lastly he did it for me but in very rude manner . Never see in my life with bad service. Just surprised why they got the trip advisor award ?.?
Easy access to metro system, plus of reasonably priced, restaurants, patisseries.
Poor quality of breakfast. General tired decour and carpeting. Small size of rooms
Broken shower, reported on first day, was never fixed. We were me there for 4 nights.
service, kitchen cervice
small breakfast area small elevator entrance with steps
Good location for the Gare du Nord & easy access to central Paris. The room was clean and comfortable with adequate facilities.
Breakfast was a bit basic but acceptable enough
The convenient location close to Gare du Nord as well as the Marais district and Canal St. Martin
Breakfast is below average, and there is some smoke from the bar next door in the evening, if you open the windows.
Location, small but nice room.
Expensive breakfast at e10 for what was on offer - we went to a cafe nearby instead. And I booked a room with twin beds but was given 1 small double bed to share with my daughter, so slept badly. If I'd known twin beds weren't available I'd have booked elsewhere.
The hairdrier was not working.
the best pillow in the hotel, I have ever slept on. very niece and cool receptionist
Location, room is small but clean
Quality of service is very poor, when existant.
Room is very small. The small lock didn't work. Paris' hotel is very expensive.
Good shower and air conditioning. Room quiet even though facing road. Good restaurants nearby, as are Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est stations.
Room had a smell of chemicals, perhaps those used for cleaning shower. Breakfast expensive. so we went round the corner for croissants and coffee for less than a quarter the price.
Reasonable price compared to other expensive Paris hotels Proximity to the Gare du Nord even though I didn't use the station.
I tested the safebox, and put my passport and some cash in it. The safebox worked ok until the last day when I was supposed to check out. But just as I packed up for checking out, the safebox was broken down ! - the LED panel on it gone out. The conclusion is that hotel clerks have the master password for all safeboxes in the hotel as well as the master key, but they may say they don't have those.
This hotel is in a quiet, residential neighborhood about a 30 minute walk from the Seine, and within 60 minute walk to most major attractions. It is minutes away from the Gare du Nord train station and so it is very easy to get to and from the Charles de Gaulle airport, and of course the extensive metro. The room itself is perfectly adequate for a room to retire in after a day out in Paris. Bed is comfortable, room and bathroom are clean. There is a safe to lock up valuables and mini fridge if you want to keep some drinks or snacks. Definitely no frills. The concierge is helpful if you ask her but will not go out of her way to welcome you to Paris.
Won't take away from your visit, but won't add to it either.
Location. Breakfast. Hot shower. Comfy bed. Close to bakery, supermarket. Quiet. Excellent wifi. Friendly staff. Got room with view as requested :) very pleased!
Lift very small and room small but don't really spend time in room and that's Paris, minor complaint. Small bathroom
Easy to access with public transport. Good free wifi connection. Value for money.
Room is a bit small.
This hotel is located quite near to the train station provided you're quite familiar with the small lanes. It's tucked away in one of these small lanes so it may be quite difficult to find but once done, it's convenient. The receptionist we met insisted we can only check in after 2 pm. My wife requested for 2 keys in each room since we've two rooms. The receptionist can only provide 1 key for room and 2 keys for the other. I can't understand her logic! Breakfast spread is very limited and bland so not good value for money. Room is quite comfortable with a large shower. Overall, the hardware compensate for the software.
Ideal location, lovely reception, nice room.
Friendly and helpful reception staff who spoke English. Location close to the Gare du Nord and the Metro.
The hotel's claim to 3 star status is overrated. We have enjoyed the same or better accommodation facilities at 2 star hotels in France and in Paris previously. The quality of breakfast, for example, was compromised by out-of-date yoghurt, tinned fruit that was starting to ferment, and a coffee machine that was out of action for some time.
The free WiFi was great, and as a first time traveler to France, I found the location ideal. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they were able to advise me well on activities. It was very safe for a young (ish) female traveler.
No reflection on the staff, but I was not keen on the brown carpets. But that is just a personal preference, and of course this is clear from the hotel photos.
Clean bathroom Clean room
The room was a bit dated The hotel is located in a very bad area, lot of strange people that look like criminals. We didn't feel safe.
Location. Very close to Gare Du Nord if youre travelling from london via the eurostar. Also close to metro station (aside from gare du nord)
Staff not very engaging. Noisy doors
Nice rooms Helpful staff Good value
Noisy from traffic
Proximity of transport means (Gare du Nord, metro) and sightseeing (Montmartre). Breakfast buffet was OK too.
Noisy doors (or neighbours).
Conveniently close to metro Poissonniere and Gare du Nord (walking distance 7 min. with luggage). Great breakfast (above average). Friendly and efficient reception. Excellent Wifi and brochures for tourists. Would go back.
