Although this place was very modern-decorated, it seemed best suited as a "bachelor pad"...form over function.
Upon arriving, our taxi dropped us off in what appeared to be a run down city neighborhood. There were no hotel signs or anything like that, nothing to indicate that we had arrived at our overnight destination. We mustered up our nerves to enter a non-populated interior. I called the hotel to ask "what's the deal?!" They sent a man who took us 5 flights up to a dark, long hallway that eventually led us to our "apartment". Not what we signed up for. Very strange. But it was a few blocks from city center.
We booked the 45 square metre apartment, which was, to our surprise, very tiny due to the higgled piggedly floor plan of the building but all in all it was comfortable. The location was excellent as it is really in the heart of the city centre, which made it worth it. The apartment was a little bit pricey but it seemed to us as though Lyon was an expensive city overall.
Great location, very accessible, parking available although not cheap. Lyon very easy to access. Supermarkets nearby and cleaned while we were there. Highly recommended.
Limited self catering facilities.
Location, cleanliness and simple but great layout. Would stay there again, great for a couple.
Kitchen was nice to have but didn't have enough equipment (e.g. utensils, cutting board) to really use it properly.
Location, location, location.... Excellent area in the best part of the city! Lots of French charm close to everything. We wanted to stay an extra night
Great location and very nice room.
Please add an iron and ironing board to the room. Also a Do Not Disturb sign for the door would be handy. Also, they need to be able to take credit cards and not just cash.
Clean, centrally located, underground car park and supermarket on the doorstep.
Impersonal, not a "hotel", although that is what they call themselves. More like a tiny airbnb-style studio. The "deluxe" room is cramped (you have to squeeze in the hallway if you want to sit down at the tiny table), there is no bath tub, no "river view" as announced. No separation between shower and room: if you want to shower while your partner is still sleeping, he/she will have the sensation they're sleeping in the shower room. And if you're not too careful you might even splash him/her. No breakfast available on the premises. There is a coffee machine but just one dose of coffee, and only very large cups, although it is an espresso machine. No bottle of water, no minibar.
Great location, easy to walk to the shops and resteraunts, nice modern design and very clean. Make sure you call ahead prior to arrival as there is not the usual hotel style resecption.
Room a little cramped with poor storage, sofa bed not very comfortable.
Nice and modern
Cold weather and there were no spare blankets. 2 kids and the couch bed had a small blanket and there was no heating so it was quite cold there. Apartment was smaller than expected and when asked this was the biggest! This should be detailed before hand!
The location. Secure building.
Manager was responsive, friendly, patient. Unit was clean, modern.
Building is in poor, not very clean state. Air conditioner is fair, but not great. No door between bath and living space, which makes for a cold room for showering. Ridiculously difficult to regulate hot/cold water in shower. Toilet was not securely fastened to floor.
location was good and deluxe executive room is nice
hotel staff not onsite when we arrived and could not enter as they are private apartments, staff where apologetic.
The design of the room - bed very comfy - top location
It's not a hotel ! It's a room (s) in a private building. No facilities at all! The cleaning hasn't been done properly on our second day. We were unlucky to have a massive party in the building - we couldn't sleep until 2am...
Nice part of Lyon, within easy walk to restaurants and shops. The apartment was well appointed, clean, comfortable and with very modern renovations.
You couldn't watch the TV from the lounge!! However, it was nice to watch it from a very comfy bed!
Not very friendly welcome. To have to pay 25euros for our 3 years old son even if we brought our little bed (we only had 2 towels even if we had to pay for 3!). The toilet was broken as well as the shower.
Ideal for couple not enough room for three
The apartment is situated right at the city center in a really nice environment. I don't think that there could be a better location. The interior is elegantly decorated.
The WiFi was really unstable and during periods not functional at all. The room could have been cleaned more thoroughly, and more often. The kitchen is a bit poorly equipped.
Nice apartment right next to the river. Comfortable and spacious
It was hard to find as its an apartment not a hotel. We couldn't see the sign in the door as we were driving past. Parking was hard to find as the underground parking stations were full
Great location. Lovely design.
This place is more for 2 than for 3. The rest is just perfect
Rooms pleasant and for a longer stay well positioned in the city. bathrooms looked good and toiletries good quality.
This is not a hotel but appartments in a residential building therefore no bar/restaurant/cafe or lounge concierge or other facilities. Quite tricky to be told by the taxi driver that there is no hotel at the address and even more difficult to find how to check in. When we did (at 3pm) we were told the rooms were not ready- we could leave our luggage but did not gain access until after 5.30pm. No where to stay until the rooms were ready so out on the street until they were! On original e mail requested a bottle of Prossecco in our son's room- not done and told on request not possible. Coffee machines in both rooms not working correctly. No breakfast as no dining room- I think it should be made very clear that this is NOT an hotel and just flats, the name does not indicate this.
There was very nice acces . Room was comfortable and Owner was very kind person.
I'm scared on entrance because not so much visitor at there . Room open was sometimes difficult for me because how to turn a key was diffrent in japan.
