Artus Hotel  

The concierge, Sanjay and the rest of the team were charming and very helpful. The rooms were stylish and well appointed, if a tad small. There was a good choice of different foods for breakfast.

Room was situated at a spot within the Hotel that did not get WIFI reception.

Location, location, location. Which is perfect. Just over the river from the Louvre and Notre Dame. Nice small hotel, which means the staff get to know you very quickly.

We didn't get much of a view from our room, but not much of a complaint as we were only in our room at nights really.

The location is excellent, in the heart of Saint Germain neighborhood and very close to 3 metro stations. Easy access to airports. The concierge, Sanjay, was very helpful before and during our stay. The breakfast is very good.

The hotel was in renovation but our room was not renovated yet. It was still good but I assume will be better next time.

Very well located, staff is absolutely wonderful will help and assist you in everything . Room is equipped with a large matrimonial bed with an excellent mattress and good lining.There is an expresso machine in the lobby that can be very useful. Breakfast is very good .

There is not enough light in the room, and there is no place to put a wet raincoat.

Perfect location, friendly english-speaking staff. Bathrooms with real showers a plus.

Exercise room could be larger with treadmill.

The location off St. Germain was fantastic. The hotel was clean and comfortable enough. The people were friendly and helpful.

The hotel, like most in Paris, had small rooms and small elevators and was pricey compared to most other European cities.

The Hotel is located in the heart of Saint Germain des Près, near resturants and shops. Perfect area for walking trips. The nearest metro station is 50 meters away. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. WiFi is very good all around the hoted and the room is equipped with Bose speakers with iPhone Jack.

The "Classic Double Room" is Tiny. No cabinets near the beds, the bathroom is directly connceted to the room without wall, you cannot turn the toilet light without turing the light in the whole room. There is hardly a place for 2 suitcases. Definitely, it is not a room for a couple, for a single, maybe.

As regular travellers, and regular visitors to Paris, we decided - as it was a special occasion - to spend a little more and stay nearer to the centre of town in a hotel a bit nicer than we would normally go for. So glad we did - the area of St. Germain is perfect for really getting to the heart of Paris. You'd struggle to find a more perfect location to stay if you want to see nice shops, great eating, and streets that transform at night as cafes and bars spill on to the road. The helpfulness of the staff is well documented on the web so we had high expectations, and again were not disappointed. We were looked after better than we could have hoped for.

Hotel Artus is our hotel of choice when in Paris. Sanjay and staff are extremely helpful and always make our stay pleasant. The location is perfect for shopping, dining, and site seeing. The rooms are unique and modern. There is also a cute little lounge/bar attached to hotel which is a nice way to end the day. The street is lined with restaurants, bistros and shops.

The concierge, Sanjay, was very friendly and helpful. We had a very quiet room on the 5th floor. The location is very close to the Metro and there is lots of activity on the street in the evening. Good pastry shops, a little supermarket, outdoor patios etc.

The room, although considered large by the hotel, was very tiny. We didn't have a tub but the shower was fine. Housekeeping and room service was a little erratic, but we were generally satisfied. Front desk was very helpful.

Being greeted by name when you arrive is lovely. I am 53, was staying alone for two nights and felt very comfortable and safe. The room service breakfast was delicous and the area for walking/shopping was perfect! Quiet, very comfortable beds!

Smaller sized rooms so if your are in it you are most comfortable sitting on the bed. Good sized bathrooms!

We loved this hotel as it was in such a good position. It was central to most places we wanted to visit and we were able to walk. A great many eating places close by. Breakfast at the hotel was a must. Staff on the whole were very helpful . Sanjay in particular is a treasure.

my room was perfect, but the other rooms not , only a few are already renovated , and all the rooms where the same price.

Did my booking 2 months ago, and end up in a ground floor room for handicap people and the smell of dead rat in the room they moved me to another room available ; an upgrade one they say but the whole night could not sleep because the air con did not work and the phone was out of service. I was tired of my journey and could not sleep....So in my 3 days stay at that hotel I moved to 3 different rooms. And paying my bills they overcharged me....

Our stay in Paris was made all the more wonderful staying at The Artus Hotel. It is centrally located in a very bohemian area and there are so many restaurants and bars at your doorstep to choose from. The rooms are small but very functional and quaint - they have a very special European feel. The stand out at the hotel is Sanjay the Concierge who is very warm and friendly and happy to help with any enquiries, booking tours etc. Thank you Sanjay. We will definitely stay here again.

Choosing artus Hotel was key to our very pleasant and memorable first visit to Paris. The hotel is located in the heart of the vibrant Saint Germaine des Pres, surrounded by fine cafes, delis, shopping, art galleries. Artus is just a block away from Metro Mabillion station,and is a short to the Seine River, museums, Luxembourg Garden. But what really made us feel so at home was the courteous and efficient staff of Artus, especially the best concierge ever, sanjay. He personally welcomed us, anticipated our every need during our ten-night stay. He reserved tables for our dinners, recommended the best restaurants we wouldn't have otherwise known, helped us with directions and even printed out maps out of his own initiative, complete with all important information for our short sojourns within the city.He even prepared our picnic basket and umbrella for our Seine and Luxembourg picnics, He sent us a bottle of fine champagne, chocolates and fresh flowers to welcome us and for my husband's 50th birthday. He also made arrangements for our ride to the hotel. We will definitely be going back to artus for our next trip to Paris. Definitely our home away from home!

Stayed at this weekend for a long weekend. Room was small, but well laid out and presented. All the fixtures and fittings appeared to be fairly new, nothing old and tatty or in need of repair. Bed was very comfortable, which is always a bonus. Was concerned about noise from the street, since we were at the front and on the first floor. But once the double glazed windows were closed properly it was quite acceptable. Location was superb and staff very friendly and helpful. Didn't use any other facilities so can't comment on food etc.

Just one little thing. The toilet was very small. Any smaller and I wouldn't have been able to get in and close the door.
