Arverna Hotel  

This was our second time of staying at the Hotel and would continue to stay again. The welcome we received was excellant we had requested the same room and was given it. The family who run the hotel are very nice and not intrusive. Excellent

In need of slight refurbishment to keep up their standards

The overall impression was of a hotel in keeping with the general atmostphere of Vichy, a grand spa town of the early 20th century.The managers/staff were very friendly and the situation of the breakfast room by a pleasant courtyard was a delight.

Not a real complaint - The hotel has a garage away from its location to which our car was taken and returned when we were ready to leave, there is no adjacent parking so you needed to be aware that you need to take all items you might possibly want to your room on arrival.

Hotel staff were helpful, hotel room was clean, hotel is well located, and in a quiet street.

We received a very warm welcome from the owners who speak perfect English. The room was comfortable and the breakfast good. The hotel is well placed in a quiet suburb within easy walking distance of the city.

The friendly persons that manage this hotel were very nice and helpful , the breakfast was good, very good. In fact I'm surprised that hotel has only 2**, after my vacanrions there I may say that it is 3*** at least. And with such good staff managment and organisation it may get all 5*** ))) did you even saw in France the fresh fruits in the breakfast buffet?))) me -never , so I wich them all the best and to receive one additional star at least for the hotel.

We had a quiet room at the upper floor and everything was good.

Extremely welcoming and friendly staff. Our room was large and comfortable. The hotel is very near the centre.

The hotel could be difficult to find with a complex one-way system and car parking everywhere (even in front of the hotel). But paid parking is available and the owner kindly looked after this for us.

Le calme de cet hotel qui pourtant est situé à 5mm à pied du centre ville; le fait qu'il y ait à disposition un pc et qu'on puisse l'utiliser à notre convenance;le petit déj copieux. Le sourire de Janine à l'accueil et sa douceur.

Le côté lunatique du Monsieur à l'accueil!( Je ne connais pas son prénom) accueil très limite ...besoin de vacances???le côté un peu vieillot de la chambre où nous étions et qui aurait besoin d'être rafraichie; idem pour la salle du petit déjeuner. Le fait que le parking soit payant et qu'on ne le sache pas à l'avance!on aurait du aussi nous prévenir , à notre arrivée que les place de parking devant l'hotelsont payantes :nous avons posé nos bagages vite fait et pris malgré tout un pv.

L'accueil des propriétaires est excellent, ils sont très prévenants et cherchent des solutions aux questions de visites en ville ou dans les environs que nous leur avons posées. Le petit déjeuner se déroule dans une pièce agréable avec vue sur une cour intérieure joliment aménagée Hôtel silencieux situé dans une rue calme. Nous avons apprécié la possibilité de garer la voiture dans un parking souterrain privé pour un modeste supplément;

Propreté - hygiène. Décor de la chambre. Calme. Situation géographique. Rue agréable.

Acceuil tres tres chaleureux!Esprit de famille,

Nous venons à Vichy deux à trois week end par an et descendons toujours, dans la mesure du possible dans cet hôtel. Les chambres sont petites mais très coquettes ( bien qu'il y en ait aussi des grandes pour 3 je pense que nous avons eu une fois la chance d'obtenir), d'une propreté irréprochable. La rue est calme bien qu'en plein centre ville. Petit déjeuner tout à fait suffisant pour un prix très raisonnable. Bref que du positif pour cet hôtel.
