the staff were so friendly, courteous and welcoming. i especially loved the pretty sitting room to enjoy a wine or cuppa whilst checking my emails, and meeting other guests. restaurants and old town centre at your doorstep

Nice decor in hotel common areas. Friendly staff, parking, elevator is definitely a plus.

The staff were fantastic--friendly, helpful, hard working, and cheerful. The rooms were clean and, although similarly sized, were all individually appointed. The bed was very comfortable. Parking on-site was convenient, reasonably priced (5 EUR/day), and assigned/reserved. The location in ancient Dinan was perfect for exploring an amazingly well-preserved medieval city. Good restaurants were within easy walking distance.

The only negative was that the WiFi was very spotty and unreliable. At times, we were unable to connect. When we were able to connect, we were often "kicked-off" and could not reconnect. A minor annoyance.

Availability of car park near to town centre. Very efficient and friendly receptionist. Location very near to town centre.

Breakfast selection very basic for price.

We would definitely recommend this hotel. Just a short block off the main square made it an ideal location, quiet & cozy. The staff was very friendly & helpful, suggesting restaurants & things to see.

The Arvor is in the center of Dinan and has the miracle of a car park! It is close to the the facilities of Dinan and near the friends whom we visit twice per year.

The Hotel Arvor was perfectly situated in the centre of town. The room overlooked the medieval streets and the staff was helpful and friendly. I didn't want to leave!

One of the friendliest hotel we ever stayed in. you can not ask for a friendlier Resection stuff (all of them). The hotel itself is very nice and every room is different. You feel at home from the moment you step into the hotel. free Wifi and hotel owned parking made our visit complete. we really enjoyed our stay. We had two rooms and the two of them were excellent. We did not have breakfast at the hotel.

A delightful, friendly hotel in the middle of a beautiful medieval town. Lots to see & explore in the immediate vicinity as well as shopping & restaurants. Dinan is a fortified town on the top of the hill with thePort Dinan at the bottom of the hill. Lots to see on walkss around. The staff was very helpful, booking restaurants for us & generally pointing out areas of interest in Dinan. The Avor also had great secure parking, our spot reserved for the three nights. We had delicious & reasonably priced meals at 'Le Courtine' & 'Le Cantorbery', staff again wonderful, especially explains French menu/foods for us. We stayed 3 nights in Dinan & it has been a highlight of our trip. You can as we did also explore on day trips St Mao & Mont Saint Michel from Dinan.

no water cooker for /tea coffee in the room

Dinan is a beautiful, historical town and this hotel is perfectly placed for the old town. We were 5 minutes from the large market (on Thursday), individual shops and lots of places to eat at different price ranges. The hotel is well run, and comfortable and it has a lift for those with heavy cases/difficulty with the stairs. The decor is tasteful and individual. Parking is very useful too.

This is in the town centre and therefore if you have the window open at night, you will be woken by early traffic, delivery lorries, etc right by most of the bedroom windows. My mother, age 80, did not think the decor was suited to her age group (hard headboards for example) however I found it to be very comfortable and enjoyed my stay. If you want total peace and quiet, do not stay in the town centre. Otherwise I think this is a lovely hotel.

The location could not have been better for walking around Dinan. It is a lovely hotel and the people were helpful. My dtr and I walked everywhere and had a wonderfu 2 days and would plan to come again when in France. Just lovely...

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel (and Dinan) as much as any during a week driving through France. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. Our room had a great view of the medieval city street. The hotel is very well located in the heart of the old city presenting an easy walk to restaurants, the boutique shops, the old church, the ramparts and the great view of the river and harbor below. The staff was very helpful and gave us good recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast was good. Driving the one-way medieval streets in this area is a challenge and we were lucky to stumble on the hotel. We were also lucky to get one of the limited parking spots at the hotel. Otherwise, it would have been about a long block's walk to more ample public parking in the main square.

Our room 315 was beautiful. Romantically decorated. Breakfast was prompt and delicious. The hotel has a small carpark and is right in the centre of the old town.
