The Hotel was in a very central spot. Very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant next door was excellent and although we know some French, were happy when they supplied an English menu! Unusual plates which curled up at the end. We also went to another restaurant at the other end of town which was very good. They had a huge salad buffet which would have been enough for us. Very reasonably priced but unfortunately only four customers. A bit hair-raising getting down to the car park as we managed to scrape our rear wing. A mirror in the room would have been useful.

This hotel was fantastic and a breath of fresh air, following our stay in a terrible Paris hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and spoke very good English. They responded to all requests promptly and with a smile, and the breakfast service was great. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and we didn't have any issues with the hot water as per some of the other reviews. Location-wise this accommodation was perfect, and we walked everywhere with no issues. Car parking was secure out the back of the hotel, but the laneway is very skinny so beware. Luckily we had a tiny car! Redon is a charming and beautiful little town, one of our favourite place in France. Worth a visit, and worth staying at Hotel Asther!

A lovely little hotel; thoughtful and hard working owners. The location is perfect, rooms are spotless, and even though I skipped it, breakfast looked really good! The WiFi is very fast, and the rooms are comfortable. Go there...

Very helpful and friendly owner / manager. Overall, utterly charming. Superb value for price. Trouble finding it. With benefit of my experience: try this. Find sncf station. Drive down hill to bottom. On your r a tall railway bridge over narrow road. Hotel is on this road but don't try to find it in your car. On your l, Carrefour supermarket. Opposite it, carpark. Park. Walk on r footpath under bridge for about 100m. Look carefully to your r as you walk. Doorway down narrow laneway - found it! Assess narrow laneway. Are you prepared to drive down it? If so, you can use Asther's parking. If not, supermarket carpark is not far away. For such a nice hotel it's worth the trouble.

The hotel was very central to anywhere I needed to go or wanted to be. The staff was very pleasant and there to help me with any problems. The rooms were very quaint and overall I had an amazing stay! The hot water, at times, took a while to kick in but once it did it was very pleasant!

Nous cherchions un hotel sympathique proche de Guer-Coetquidan où nous étions invités à une cérémonie le jeudi 8 décembre 2011. Comme nous nous y sommes pris un peu tard et qu'il ne restait plus de place à Guer et les communes proches, nous avons opté pour cet hotel à Redon. Nous avons été ravis de notre choix : l'accueil était très agréable, l'hotel simple mais propre, très bien placé au centre de Redon que nous avons découvert le lendemain. Un séjour de rêve à un prix tout à fait abordable qui n'a rien à envier aux chaînes de type Formule 1, Etap Hotel ou autres hotels à proximiité de Rennes ... avec lesquels il était en concurrence lors de notre choix ... Nous le recommandons vivement à tout public.

L'accueil est très sympathique. Le petit déjeuner est très soigneux. La chambre est confortable. Il y a une odeur dans les couloirs qui ne se retrouve pas dans les chambres. Il suffirait juste d'aérer tout les jours les couloirs.

L'accueil est plus que parfait, avec sourire, services... Il n'y a pas de séche-cheveux dans la chambre mais il est à notre disposition à l'accueil.La literie est trés propre et confortable.Grâce au double-vitrage,on n'entend pas les bruits extérieurs.Le prix est trés intéressant vue la situation géographique (Beaucoup de choses à visiter, ville à proximité...) Il n 'y a pas d'accés direct du parking à l'entrée de l'hotel, il faut remonter ses bgages par la pente qui méne au parking et si un véhicule arrive au même moment, ce n'est pas évident.Mais quand on est accueilli avec autant de gentillesse à l'accueil, c'est vite oublié!!
