openness of owner French breakfast design & visual identity m² of room: quite large for Paris!
I missed one blanket for overnight as I don't like to put the heating on
A very warm welcome from pleasant and friendly staff. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. I felt at home and would readily recommend Hotel Noir to all travellers. The location is excellent.
Staff Location Good value
No in room safe No fridge, mini bar
Nice location, helpful staff, we where upgraded to the suite so we where quiet happy about that BUT if I had paid for the suite I would not have been happy about that because of small things that I describe in the parts I didn´t like.
The bulbs in the lights did not work so we only had 2 lights upstairs in the suite. The hairdryer was broken and it was taped together and was always falling apart. The room had no phone so I could not call the lobby down stairs, and the TV only had France channels. The elevator broke down while we where in it and we where stuck in it for 20/30 minutes, IT IS SO SMALL. The staff offered us water after we came out of the elevator and they charged us for it when we where checking out.
location, price-quality, staff friendliness
shower ... water didn't run through sufficiently & cranes didn't work properly towels not extremely clean slow wifi
Good location, it's about 15 min walk to Champs Elysees. Our room was perfect and cute. Clean and big. Staff was extremely helpful and nice! We will definitely come back.
Lack of a mini bar
Mansard flat: small bathtub, no decent shower, noisy (laundry?) in the morning. Two joined single beds in place of a twin (queen?) size one, two uncomfortable short blankets, a third useless bunk bed in place of a good couch, furniture below standard. Kind of spare room. Usually I'm not picky, yet - and I'm sorry to say it - it was not that worth of money. Next time I'll check better. I've been trusting booking.com too much lately. Never mind, it's gone.
Kind and helpful staff, room size, clean room and towels, quiet location
Some clicking noise from elevator engine
We've booked the Junior Suit for 3 days, and the room is quite nice in Paris, compare other small room. Junior Suit has 1 living room downstairs, and 1 bedroom and additional sofa & bathroom upstairs. Just like a small loft. Hotel owner Philip is really so nice guy, give us warmly introduction, including the subway location, the major tourist attractions, even the safety guide (As so many thieves in those hot attraction place like). When we request whether they have a steelyard which could enable me to check the weight for my luggages, he said they didn't have, but he will bought a new one for me, as my requested. And he did bought it. What a nice guy! By the way, hotel location is also very convenience, 3 minutes to the subway station, and could change to different lines to any places you want. Definitely I will recommend his hotel to my friends. Not only because the hotel itself, but also the nife people working there. Really enjoied my stay at yours so much!
Everything is perfect.
Rooms were clean. Staff was very helpful. Metro station was 2 min. Walking distance. Streets were safe. This was a great holiday hotel.
Location very good, staff super, big room.
Staff was wonderful and we had a wonderful spacious suite. Room needed better lighting!
Le Patron was splendid , very helpful , as were all the staff . Quiet , comfortable location , an ideal base to cover central Paris from . Parc Monceau , just a five minutes walk away is a delight . Many eateries within a few minutes from the hotel , together with shopping opportunities , if required .
The location is excellent. Walking distance from Champs Elyssee. Good and safe area. We were three of us and we got two rooms with two bathrooms. Real value for money. Helpful and courteous staff.
A couple of small things which were pointed out to the staff.
Small but very cozy hotel, good location - metro and bike station -100m. Using them you are only 25 min away from city center and from congress center. And you'llbe always welcomed by very friendly staff. Lift is also a good option! Fast WiFi.
Three stars should have safe and minibar, as well as the holder for showerhead :/ (room 33)
The hotel located at Courcelles metro Stop, near to Champs Elysees, the rooms is very basic and tiny but very clean. Some of note rooms is renovated. The stuff is very polite i recommend this hotel if you searching a low budget accommodation.
No wardrobe No Fridge No safe Box but secure Breakfast costs 9e and is very very basic 2 croissants1 glass of orange juice and 3 marmalades.
Room size ok
Beds kept separating not a dbl bed. Very small courtyard cld here kids crying early morn. Staff shy or is it inexperienced?
Cosy,small, good location, friendly staff
noise from the street in the morning from cleaning machines.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Location perfect and near to metro station. The hotel so clean and the rooms are quite and comfort. Size of the rooms are okay comparing to the other Paris hotels. The area so nice, clean and safe. I differently would recommend anyone to stay on it, and I will be so happy to stay on it in my next trip.
Narrow corridors. Small elevator, and is so slow. No fridge on the room. Lights are not sufficient on the rooms.
Staff were excellent, very helpful and always had a friendly chat with us whenever we saw them. Made our stay very enjoyable.
Having a shower without a shower curtain/wall-mounted shower hose over the bathtub.
Nice small hotel, with an interesting design situated in a quiet street not far from metro station. Excellent music. One of the receptionists is also a composer and we listened to his recordings playing the piano. Very nice staff. We felt wonderful. Nice japanese restaurant at the corner. Also a bistro and an indian.
It was hot in Paris and it was stuffy in the lobby area where you could normally sit and enjoy a drink in nice comfy armchairs. Breakfast is everyday the same: croissant, baguette, butter and jam+coffee, tea. It's ok for a couple of days but if you stay longer you might want to go elsewhere for variation.
Room was small but perfect for two. En suite facilities adequate. Good boutiques in the area, plenty of cafés.
Some noise from street below, however not every day.
