Location, pool and lagoon facilities. Good breakfast. Confortable room. Great views
Trip was a honeymoon, mentioned when booking ; nothing special done about it when got there!!! Poor service in restaurant. No consistency in service delivery throughout hotel
No lights in parking lot. I fell no one helped me my car was damaged I did not notice it till later I did not make a police report. It cost me a lot of money The staff were nice
It is really near to the beach and very calm. Spa and swimming pool was perfect! Restaurant had good service and quality. It was not far from Biarritz and Bayonne. Bathroom and room was clean and comfortable. Parking is very easy and accessible.
When I made the reservation, I did not know that I will not have terrace with the room.
Proximity to beach. Friendly reception staff. Great restaurant where we had a very good meal.
Having to pay extra to use the pool and spa facilities presumably because of the tariff we were on. Having to buy a swimming hat if we wanted to use the pool.
The lagoon pool, the normal pool, 5 minutes to the beach, very nice "bodega' restaurant on site, friendly staff, little balcony with sea view. We booked really late and yet our request to have 2 rooms next to each other was happily accommodated.
Often there is only one staff on duty at reception, which isn't enough in high season and can lead to long wait times.
The Hotel was very clean and spacious. Quality of food was excellent. Staff were very friendly. The outside pool was very clean and ideal for sitting around and relaxing.
On arrival we were put into our room which was large with a small window approx. 4 feet x 3 feet. And was very claustrophobic, listed as a Club Room in the Hotel Brochure. We complained and was told that it was a traditional room and that they had no other room available until 4 days later, when we could be moved into a Traditional Room with a balcony. We accepted this offer and were moved on the fourth day into this room which was what we expected when we booked. During the first three days we had complete discomfort after finding that the air conditioning was not working and that the sliding door on the toilet and shower room was hanging off its runners and could not be opened or closed. These were rectified after complaining. The picture shown in Booking .Com brochure covers all types of traditional rooms as informed by the Hotel receptionist. They have no rooms as standard as listed in the Booking. Com Brochure. If I had known that I was to get a room other than that was in the booking brochure I would not have booked the hotel.
The food at the bodega was not worth the money. It had no taste at all (we had fish and a burger with fries).
It is at the most a 3-star hotel.
The room was on the underground and both windows opened on the parking, which was unpleasant and noisy.
Very helpful courteous reception staff Quiet rooms Very comfortable beds Short walk to the beach
Quality of food in the restaurant did not match expectations: rather dry and uninspiring main meal saved only by a well presented and delicious dessert.
Perfect location near the beach, spacy room, modern bathroom, SPA and restaurant in the hotel. Realy nice beach with surfing stations.
3 spiders in the room....too expensive breakfast in the hotel and there is no other restaurants close by. poor wifi in the rooms at -1 level.
it's right by a lovely beach and the room was very spacious and comfortable.
We couldn't check in until 4pm and were sent away with no information about what we could do around the hotel to fill in time. We walked to Biarritz and got the bus back which was nice but we had to work it all out ourselves.
The location of hotel is great as on my opinion, its quiet there, and everything is good!
What bother me is they say that they have wifi but its only name it is really doesn't work or if works you can just check the weather thats it! Its terrible
Fantastic location, close proximity to Biarritz with a wide variety of restaurants available to dine in. Spa was different, but pleasant experience, although charging guests €5 a day extra seems very petty. Also swimming caps are compulsory, and these are also chargeable for €2 each. Easy access to motorway for our journey back to Bordeaux airport
I believe this has already been stated but this hotel is definitely not a four star. There are no tea or coffee facilities available in the room. Receptionist transposed the figures on the amount to pay at checkout due to doing too many activities at the same time. The hotel had a fish night in their restaurant during our stay and due to its open plan design once you stepped out your bedroom the aroma was overwhelming!
The hotel was well located. it was clean and the staff at the reception was really friendly and helpfull. THe shower was fantastic. the room clean and the bed very confortable.
I had to pay extra to access the large pool. Massage are great but very expensive and you needed to bring along special clothe. as i did not know i had to buy at their shop and it is very expensive…… I was very desapointed with the food choice. the restaurants have very small menu and the bad point is that if you come late you have nothing to eat… no food is served after 10pm or 9.30 pm for the main. I come one night at 9.45 and was only offered sweets. you have no choice, there is no room service so you go bed hungry….it is a place if you wake up early and go to bed by 10….. so not really for me…. and if you are over 50 ….
Location close to see and beach quiet Hotel
Far from a 4 Star classification, more of a 3Star plus. Rooms very impersonal and cold with minimum of comfort
