The Cosmotel is located in central Paris, half a mile from République and half a mile from the Pompidou Centre. It has air-conditioned guest rooms with private bathroom, TV and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 278 reviews Very good
friendly staff, good breakfast
central regulated AC/heater sofa bed too narrow pillows too thick
Location was OK, Service is really bad. Room was unclean and bed sheets are over used, smells bad. 2 times staff enter the room while we are in, without any notification or respect to privacy. I would rate this quality as max 2 stars
The staff were good and the breakfast was fine.
No bad experience. Lots of space and only hangers rather than a wardrobe.
The hotel, breakfeast, smiles from the staff. Just the Director was not very " agréable " !
Parking Location next to Metro Shopping center next to Hotel
Lack of help at Front Desk Lack of staff at Front Desk Late Check In Crowd with Check Out Understaffed with Holiday season
Good for a weekend, but a little far from city. Good overall.
Nice and Safe Location Free wifi is a plus Helpful Staff
No Clothing cabinet /luggage cupboard No Iron facilities in the room
Lived in Charenton in 1985 so enjoyed re-visiting the area. Excellent buffet breakfast meant we didn't need lunch! Easy access into central Paris.
Location and accessible
Stuff attitude and lack of friendless and welcoming
-the location was ok, close to the metro station, but yet far from the centre - a modern hotel, ok facilities, rather clean :-)
-booked a room for 2 adults and 2 kids, which wasn't obviously mentioned in the hotel reservation; as a result got a room with one double bed and one single bed - rather inconvient with 2 kids. Didn't get an upgrade; due to the "discount online booking" :-( -rather expensive breakfast -rooms are too small for a family
cleanliness and near the metro.
location and key system for the lifts
clean,very good location,friendly staff,lovely room
Generaly everything ok.The Hotel is near the Subway : )
The breakfast does not have the same standards as in Germany (it could be better). We also found two forks which were not fully clean (one of them with lipstick, which should be removed with high temperature wash). The parking garage does not have a direct lift to the Hotel.
Room size, value for money in compare of other 4star hotels in paris
Far from city center but neghborhood is good and silent
- quiet location right next to liberte metro stop - friendly staff - free wifi (that was easy to connect to and was fast) - comfortable rooms - generous breakfast - excellent value for paris
very popular with families, lots of noisy kids during breakfast.
Queit place , Clean rooms , Shops around the hotel
Far away from the center and the main attractions of Paris. The metro station is outside the hotel but you have to change at least 2 lines to reach the main sites.
Not worth for that money i paid. By the way same hotel in my country is 2 stars. I dont know why booking.com says its 4 stars. I liked their wifi, good reciption and near to metro
Not comfortable Bad smell Bad location Not 4 star hotel
Very helpful staff, complimentary bottles of water and coffee. Next to metro line 8 and a couple of supermarkets and bakeries just steps away. Good bed and shower. Great room size.
There is no AC, just heating but you can open the window though as the area is very quiet at night. The carpet at the room didnt seem quite clean, but everything else was clean.
Friendly staff comfy bed 10 out of 10
-Hotel located on top of Liberte metro station -Velib hire bikes right across the street -Easy to get to and leave the city from without risking Paris inner city damage if you travel north-south by car
-Excessive price (17.50 p.p.) for breakfast which would account for 70.00 for a family of 4. Are they mad? -Expensive overnight car park -Pricey room -What was sold as a family was merely a standard room with a sofa bed cramped in
Had to walk to the reception from the parking. Not really 4 start quality hotel.
The hotel was very elegant and the furniture was new with a modern touch and was very clean and cozy. Except for the sofa bed which was uncomfortable.
I had a problem sleeping at night because the sofa bed was not comfortable with springs poking my back its clear that the mattress was used alot and supposed to be changed. When I spike to the reception they told me that they can't do anything about it. I asked for a quilt to put on the mattress to soften it and they were telling me that they can't give me an extra quilt and they don't have any. When I told them I will mentione it on booking.Com they apologised and then sent me a quilt to my room. I also ordered a bucket of ice and was given a dirty plastic bucket filled with ice and when I asked them why don't they have steal ice buckets they replied that they only have four buckets and that they were taken already. The staff were rude and unhelpful and they had no iron in the room. There was a member of the staff called Hameed whom we met on the last day before we left the hotel who was very kind and helpful. They offered us a free one night stay when we come back again to France but I will never stay again in this hotel because of the things I mentioned above.
Easy to find including the parking which is more or less directly under the hotel. Metro was about 1 min walk away so easy to get to Paris for the sites. Disney accessible by train or road but advised road much quicker - got there in half an hour, no problem. Nice Italian restaurant and handy supermarket next door.
We stayed early August; after a hard day around Paris and a thorough drenching we looked for a nearby restaurant - they were all closed bar one; I think for their holidays. Back to the hotel for a rather pricey meal and the restaurant staff unable to cope with a mediocre number of tables. Step in Samia from reception to save the day from an almost Fawlty Towers experience!
