Visit the chateau at Combourg and take the children to the zoo at La Bourbonsais or the Cobac water park.
Along the coast is the small port of Cancale, famous for its oysters and moules de bouchots.
Nature-lovers will appreciate the long beaches and the rocky areas along the coast. Walks are organised along the bay at Mont St Michel. There are many other walks starting from local villages, most of which are great for panoramic views across the bay.
All the local towns have regular markets selling fresh local produce that are well worth a visit.

Very comfortable, warm, clean, quiet. Excellent value. Warm croissants were served with tea/coffee for breakfast. Friendly owners are English expats. On a main road in a small village but hard to find even with a GPS (no sign on the building) be sure to request directions from the owner in advance. 20-30min drive from Mt St Michel. |

Hotel owner was extremely nice and friendly, an English native, so good place if you are struggling to get by in French and need some English language and a simple place to sleep. No place to sit and relax, no soothing ambience. Room was small with one chair. No lounge area. It was merely a place to sleep. No good restaurant alternatives. |

Very nice the family who runs the place. Clean and quiet. The worst coffe we ever had. Better ask for tea, it"s english. Small rooms with a funny smell of old furniture. |

staff was accomodating and friendly, ready with great suggestions for places to dine or watch the sunset over Mont St Michel. Also helpful in trying to secure a reservation for another B&B the following day. |

Very friendly, cosy place. Comfortable family suite consisting of two bedrooms and separate bathroom. Much appreciated the tea-making facilities in the room! Great idea to rent bikes and it's a lovely ride across quiet country lanes to the Mont St. Michel with fantastic views along the way. |

L'hôtel est tenu par un couple anglais très sympathique et accueillant. Je dirais que cet hôtel ressemble plus à des chambres d'hôtes par le côté chaleureux et douillet des chambres et de la maison. La chambre n'est pas bien insonorisée, et la robinetterie un peu rouillet car on entendait pas mal la douche des voisins qui grinçait et biensûre la notre également. |

チェックイン時間が深夜になったのにも関わらず丁寧に応対して頂きました。ご夫婦共にとても親切でした。料- 金を考えるとコストパフォーマンスが素晴らしい。イギリス出身のご夫婦らしく、英語が通じたのが助かりまし- た。朝食もコーヒーはイマイチでしたが、紅茶とホットチョコは美味しかったです。また利用したいと思います- 。 |
