This was the best stay during our entire trip to France. We would go back in an instant! The room was huge and magnificent with french doors to a beautiful garden with a swimming pool. The bathroom was more or a spa with a tub, shower with numerous jets, two sinks, and private toilet. Big beautiful towels and bathrobes were set out for us. The petit dejeuner was beautifully presented and our hostess was absolutely divine. As a bonus we had a private parking spot in a garage. We couldn't ask for anything more! Everything was wonderful. |

friendly proprietor who took trouble to ensure we were comfortable, swimming pool to ourselves, very nice large room, good breakfast, convenient location It was quite pricey even allowing for unfavourable £:euro ratio |

The owners had a nice balance of being nice and helpful, but not invasive. I felt as if I was at home. It was very relaxing and quiet. Having only 3 rooms is nice...there weren't too many people coming in and out so it was more private. They have a private courtyard in the back which was very pretty. I definitely recommend the hotel. The owners are very sweet people and very good hostesses. They didn't have central air but they had a fan. However, I found that none of the hotels I stayed in in Amboise, Saumur and Paris had central air so just be prepared. |
