This is the third year we have stayed at this hotel around this time. The views are amazing, right on the coast. Beds are exceptionally comfortable and one of the main reasons we love the hotel. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
The price has increased by 25% since last year, making what I thought was already a pricey hotel poor value for money. There were no additional facilities to last year. No pool or gym, bar only has limited hours, breakfast pricey and limited hours. There was a blackout whilst we were there and the management was not prepared for this and did not have any emergency lighting to give us (apart from a candle that they dug out upon my partner's request); unacceptable as we have a 3 month old baby. Not what I would expect from a 4 star establishment. We are not sure if we will choose to stay here again for our annual holiday.
The hotel is wrapped around a Moorish styled large house and hence the name Ker Moor. Each bedroom has a large balcony facing the sea and the sun-rises are fabulous. The rooms are comfortable and clean, a little small with luggage, but I think somewhere more like 3 star. The staff are fabulous, very friendly and accomodating and I cannot complain at all about service. We were travelling through Brittany and this was one of the few hotels we could book into for New Years eve night so both the area and the hotel were not our first choices. But the hotel was pleasant and so I see it more as a base for exploring along the coast rather than a destination in its own right. The local shopping area, while not on the sea is small but ideal for parking and buying food for a meal on your hotel balcony overlooking the sea. I would recommend this.
The local beaches, cafes and shops on the beaches are a bit tired and so we didn't spend much time there. It doesn't have that mass tourism feel which is good, but it needs a little love and care to lift the standard up to some of the other towns we found on the coast. This has nothing to do with Ker Moor but it may influence your decision to stay for an extended time.
The excellent, friendly staff, every one. Lovely balcony with views out to sea Good location for coastal walks and restaurants nearby
Nothing. It was great.
Fantastic location with stunning views. Exceptional customer service and very pleasant staff.
The fact that I was not staying longer.
Sea view, calm and comfort
Location, staff, room, view.
Minor detail, the kettle could do with a longer lead so that we aren't boiling it on the floor.
The hotel is located close to the sea. The room has amazing view to the sea and the island, where you can get on the stairs from the hotel. The room has romantic decorations. The staff is very helpful. We definitely recommend this hotel to spend wonderful holiday in Bretagne.
Vue top ! Breakfast superbe !
No possibilty to sit on the groundfloor arround the hotel !You can only stay at the small terras, where there is NO sunshine after 15 pm .
The best hotel in the area. Nice views, the rooms are relatively small but clean
Wifi in our room did't work properly
Very nice hotel in great location,if you like coastal walks. Accommodation good, staff helpful. We stayed early July and it was very quiet which we didnt expect. For dinner better to leave hotel and go left along the coast path, or if you go right go to the marina, town didnt havé anything open.
Very pleasant stay. Wonderful views. Spotless bedroom and bathroom. Great balcony/terrace for aperitifs. Very helpful and friendly staff. One of the best breakfasts we had during our 14-day stay in France. I'd go back.
Décor a little bit twee.
The Hotel had a stunning location, and the view from the terrace was superb. The room was very comfortable and clean.......we will return.
Brilliant location Really clean and fresh. No catering except continental breakfast and a bar, but both very pleasant.
We liked everything. It happened to be better than on the pictures, which is quite unusual and pleasant. The view to the ocean is just amazing.
A bit expensive, but you pay for the view and nature.
Location was very good, and staff were very pleasant
The chemical or cleaning fluid smell in room on arrival ...easily dealt to by opening balcony door
Location and view were great. Very clean. Bed comfortable. Staff were friendly.
Poor value for money. It is basically a nice B and B with a lovely view .No amenities apart from Breakfast. Room was small and bathroom very small . For 4 stars I expected more . No milk on tea tray . Bed was not made only cover pulled up and tucked in !! Restaurants were a good 15 minute walk either direction. Disappointed as it was to celebrate our anniversary.
All, particularly staff and food. As it was low season, we were upgraded.
The Location is just awesome, with a stunning view on the sea, and couple steps away from the beach and the Chemin des Douaniers some trail runs. The Staff is really nice, and taking care. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends
The Breakfast was OK but a bit expensive though for a Buffet with no warm/cooked food.
This is the second year we have stayed here and we again had a delightful stay. The views from the room are unparalleled, the bathroom is huge with a nice bath, the staff friendly, and most of all they have the most comfortable beds and bedding I have ever slept on (they have upgraded these since our last stay and this really made a difference).
Breakfast pricey with limited hours.
Lovely view and large room
