Refined service, great attention de details, perfect location.
Location, quick check-in, help of the staff in finding toy shop, arranging transfer.
Location was excellent.
Room was awful small and smelly from cooking odors from nearby restaurants. Also could smell cigarette smoke on the 6th floor must be through a close by vent like the cooking odors. The neighborhood is pricey so the cost may not be out of the ordinary but this was the worst hotel we had in our visit to London , Paris and Barcelona. Would not go back and would not recommend it to friends.
Au Manoir Saint Germain Hotel is well located for many things to do and see in Paris. This boutique hotel, has been quaintly decorated and is very clean. PS.. it has a lift !!. The room was large and had a lovely view to the street. Bedding was comfortable and bathroom had good facilities and products to support your stay. We stayed 2 nights and found staff friendly and helpful. Next door and across the road were 2 great restaurants, and surrounding us were plentiful shops and cafes, and taxis, buses / metro at our doorstep. We had a great time, with everything being convenient and easy for us. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Can't think of anything detrimental.
We loved the location, in a great part of Paris and handy to all the main sightseeing locations. The room itself was nice, clean and quiet. I would recommend staying there.
Minor quirks that show a lack of detail when planning the room fittings. eg: - there is nowhere to plug in the kettle without putting it on the floor next to the door, why not put a plug near the desk? - the lack of shower screen means that water unavoidably goes all over the floor (and the toilet paper! Soggy!) - there is a speaker for the TV in the bathroom, but the volume cannot be turned down/off. Not great if one person watching TV while another wants to relax in quiet.
Location, helpfulness of some staff, size of room
Breakfast was not fresh, not enough variety to cater for people from other parts of the world and expensive
The thoughtful staff and location.
Hotel staff did not change us Dollars into euros although we needed it desperately in order to pay our taxi during check out. The room they gave us had no relationship with the pictures we've seen during our reservation. It was too small, not clean and quite old.
no cooked breakfast
Location to St-Germain cafes and sights was excellent.
The staff were clearly distracted when we arrived and were having an argument which we had to wait to conclude before being checked in. The room (304) was very small, very narrow and had a very strange smell that permeated everything. While the bathroom was recently renovated everything else was looking very dated and did not feel fresh or clean. My wife and I were booked in for two nights here before flying home, however we only survived one night and had to move to another, nicer hotel nearby otherwise our remaining time in Paris wouldn't have been as pleasant. Considering the money we spent on other accommodation in Paris this hotel was by far the worst value for money considering the sub-standard state of our room. Cannot recommend this hotel at all.
Oustanding Location - close to Brasserie Lip.
Location was perfect. St Germain-des-Pres is a beautiful place and we were right in the heart, could walk to the Louvre from the hotel and close to the metro station. The staff were friendly enough. The room was tiny but we were fortunate enough to have an outdoor balcony where we could dry our clothes. The wifi signal was strong in the room. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was small but clean. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
Breakfast wasn't included in our rate and was quite expensive, and it wasn't fantastic- not much variety and they charged me 5 euro for a glass of orange juice from a carton.
great location, very nice staff, would return.
Excellent location close to shopping, transportation and restaurants.
Our room was small and dark unlike our first time here when when had a large bright room. Maybe the cheap price offered by this site had something to do with it
Deco of hotel is interesting, modern and old...not sure about what style they are going for.. But its in nice part of Paris. Lots of restaurants around. Also lots of aged hippies around. Metro stations nearby, short walk to Notre Dame.
Location, location, location! Comfortable rooms. Great staff.
Paying extra for orange juice in the morning!
We loved everything about Au Manoir Saint Germain. It was very clean & the staff were very most helpful & friendly. This hotel is so close to many of the most popular tourist sites and everything else is a few steps away from the metro that is located just across the road. The room was quite small but very typical for French standards & very very clean. We had a street view of the gorgeous cafés across the road & it was very quiet. Wifi was greatI would definitely stay there again if I had the opportunity, it is the perfect location
Loved the location! Room was clean, comfortable and staff was very nice and helpful. Felt very safe! This hotel is in a superb location in the heart of St. Germain. Can walk everywhere from here and if you need a taxi the taxi stand is right outside. Excellent breakfast at the hotel and great restaurants next door and across the street. I would recommend this place and I would stay there again!
No complaints. My view was of the inner courtyard, not stellar, but interesting. View out the front would be lovely, but street noise.
Excellent location, easy to find and navigate locally and to other areas of the city
Nothing bad to say
location is at epicenter of St Germain. Small and comfortable hotel with a terrific and knowledgeable at -desk staff who went " the extra mile" to accommodate our every need and request. From the hotel, getting around Paris was easy. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
Great area, wonderful cafes, easy walking distance to major sites!
Location perfect even in the busy area but still quite while you are in the room.
The stairs way is slightly sloping, cause I like using the stairs when I'm going down.
