Really bad view. Old towels. No water.
The air quality of the room I stayed in was very poor. A strong plastic like chemical smell made me dizzy after a while. I asked the staff to move me to another room, but they refused. The staff did not take me seriously and did not do anything to solve the problem. What struck me most was the impolite attitude of the staff. In particular the receptionist woman was very rude. When you look at the hotel reviews you can see a pattern. Many people visiting the hotel are treated badly. Because of this and the poor air quality which might be a health risk, I strongly recommend not to stay in this hotel. I travel a lot but I have never experienced something like this. I have reported this to Booking.com.
decoration is good, clean, internet connection was good
there wasn't any window
I aarived to the hotel at 19:00. The man in the hotel till that timee already has debited my credit card for the room payment. He said: You arrived too late so we decided to charge your card as no show. Then I arrived, I wanted to pay the breakfast and the parking, but it was impossible because they accept credit cards only for amount bigger or equal to 50EUR. If they would not charge my card before my arrival, I could pay it together. In the result I didn't have any breakfast and my motorcycle was left on the street.
Location, perfect for exploring Lyon, just 10 minutes walk from place Bellecourt Friendly receptionists. Hotel recently refurbished. Good breakfast cafés nearby if you don't want to use the hotel's breakfast service. Small private garage (€18 per night), though there was plenty of on street parking available right outside the hotel (meter). Good value for money!
Staff not friendly Room too small Noisy Not flexible in check out time even for an hour. all other hotels 's check out time is 12 while this one's was 11 Awfull breakfast
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very clean. Nice and central within Lyon.
NOT SOUNDPROOF. Were woken up numerous times in the night to very loud sex from people in various rooms around us. Also woken up by people in neighboring buildings who were blasting music and yelling.
The bathroom The situation in the city
The bed was a bit short
Location, very convenient to go downtown
very good value, room was fine - comfortable and clean
there is no escalator so i had to carry my heavy case up to the third floor
Good location. Perferct garage inside a hotel building.
Small rooms. Somebody's hair on towels.
Color of pillows
easy to find, good location, close to a metro stop
not a varied choice for breakfast, small rooms
the receptionist lady is one of the rudest people we've ever meet! so does the receptionist guy. She was trying to make profit out of us for everything! I asked her if I could make a call over the hotel phone, because my phone was not working, first she said it was not possible and that was not her problem if I was having trouble with my personal phone. Then she said she would make the call if I paid 2 euro! I really needed, so I accepted! She did not let me touch the phone and made the call herself. Just told me that the call was not completed and charged me the 2 euro anyway!!! Beside that, the room smelled like cigarettes, was poor cleaned and very tight! I have no idea how an hotel like this could be evaluated with 3 stars! I strongly recommend for all other travelers to avoid this hotel!
Very kind and friendly staff, wide and clean room.
Service was good
Asked for 2 beds and found a double one.
location price wifi
no elevator staff couldn't keep our luggage the day we departed
check in time, wireless doesn't work properly
The staff is not pleasant, and the smelt is bad
staff very helpful, rooms comfortable and quiet, hotel is close to underground and tramway route
The room stunk to tobacco and they wouldn't change our room. The booking I made with booking was for 160, but ended up paying 240 for the parking, which has room only for 3 cars and is a nightmare to park in. The woman on the reception desk was really rude and unhelpful. The corridors of the hotel had matresses on the wall - just awful The room was very basic and cold, only one thin duvet on top - and given we had to open the windows to let some air in (due to the cigarrette stench) so we almost froze Hotel door always closed (you have to ring, even during the day). One time i step outside for 5 minutes and had to wait for 10 to someone to come open the door - and when she opened, she was mad i rang the bell so much. In short, avoid. I don't know how they got three stars, they aren't worth anything- butfor what they charge, you can do exponentially better. Please don't go here.
We were very surprised that it is not possible to leave our luggage in the hotel for a couple of hours. There is no space for it. The parking is quite expensive and it does not include 24 hours. So, if you want to leave the luggage and the car and to see the city you have to forget.
Iron machine: catastrophe Towels: problem (black, unchanged) Use of public toilets after check out prohibited!
Rooms were excellent, location (20 minutes walk from Part-dieu or 2 stops on the underground) was interesting in that all the restaurants in the immediate area were either north african or asian
A hotel of this class really should have some foreign language tv channels, all the cheaper hotels on the trip I did could at least manage bbc world, rai etc.
